When regular show sex?

Hi, I have grown only autoflower and just started to grew a few regular seeds , my question is when do regular seeds show sex? is it only when they move to 12/12 or when they still vegg? Thanks

some will show preflowers in vege after 8 weeks or so, but not all... some may even show them earlier.
you could give them 12/12 for 1-3 days, then deal with some mild re-vege... this can be a headache too.
so it depends on how much time you have... in some cases may be best just to flip to 12/12 and remove males.. live with what you got.
