Cookies Gelato
Growing it

Cookies Gelato from Royal Queen Seeds was a tall strain to grow, despite the small pot of about 10L, it got up to 90cm tall. Plant had beautiful leaves that started to get yellow and to fall during second part of flowering, probably affected also by a Mites infestation (more details below). Fragrance was classic indica, I could not notice anything sweet in the smell, I will update the review once it is dried, so I provide the final weight and the effect. Unfortunately this strain got mites, like all the other strains I grew on the balcony this year. I upload photos and a video from microscope.

White Widow from Royal Queen Seeds is a good strain that grew up to 88cm even in a small pot of about 10L. Plant had the best fragrance among the strains that I grew so far, it smells like fruity and tropical to me and that made me happy. Unfortunately this strain got mites, like all the other strains I grew on the balcony this year. I upload photos and a video from microscope.

ICE

About the strain, for now I can confirm what they say on RQS website, ICE is a really beautiful plant, leaves, body and flowers are stunning, fragrance is true indica, similar to some Afghani I tried. It is also robust in the structure and the only fault is that it got mites like all other strains I grew this year. I will update the diary once it is dried, so I can provide dry amount and details about smoke and effect. If someone knows, I wish to learn what I did wrong and why they all got mites in the end of the cycle. Watch below explanation about the final washing I had to do following Jorge Cervantes tutorial.

I want to be honest about smoking this, even if it is sad. My delusion is great because the effect is milder and fades away quicker than other strains. It did not help me to sleep continuously during the night, it ends sooner and it worsen mood as well. Probably the worst strain that I grew so far :((

Dos-Si-Dos Auto
Growing it

Strong
I will share my humble opinion and experience about growing Dos-Si-Dos Auto from Royal Queen Seeds. Seeds hatched on April 12 and were moved to pots on April 15. The automatic flowering plants had their vegetation stage probably affected by a more humid and fresh season than usual and I believe that this is the reason why the plant stayed so little, compared to other autos that I had in past. When I harvested the plant on Saturday August 2nd and I emptied the pot from the ground, I noticed that the plant had a very little root system, most of the roots were about to be in my closed fist and the rest of the ground looked almost untouched. From seed (April 12) to harvest (August 02), it took 112 days with one plant that shows 72g (2,54 ounces) as fresh harvest on the scale. UPDATE from August 18, after drying the net on the scale is 13g dry. Plant showed a simple pattern with only one main central site for the buds and 2 minor branches (see photos). I will update the page later with comments on flavor and effect.

Hello! Northern Lights from Sensi Seeds is a great strain to grow. It is easy and resistant to most things except my stupidity (*) . I grew them in Central Europe, in pots of 17L on a basic windows growth, with decent soil with additional mycorrhizas. Generic multi fertilizer like Nitrophoska was added in beginning as granules + I added some poo from rabbits. Plants grew nicely also with the light from the large windows, but I felt they preferred a warmer and sunnier climate. (next time you can try cool or continental climate strains). After 25 weeks, I harvested 2 of them (one was harvested couple weeks before, read below for details) and I got 573g of material before drying. Out of those, the dry weight was today 96g (3.39 ounces) in total. It is 48g per plant (1.69 ounces / plant). The video I uploaded in diary shows how they were drying. Thanks for reading my diary. *) Once I opened the windows and I bent the central stem of the third plant, the smallest since beginning. I put a stick to keep it up and it still survived until flowering. I had to harvest it couple weeks before the others 2 plants, because after this "injury" the plant started to have some mites that were spreading in the plant. In this country, you cannot buy BIO products against parasites, so I preferred to harvest sooner. For the numbers of this last harvest report, I counted only the 2 that I harvested together and 573g is the wet weight of these other 2.
