Awesome, can't wait to grow the other 9 beans I have of this strain. Smell and taste kinda lemonlimeish.

My favorite grow so far. The seed was easy to grow. The taste is incredible. The effects are mood elevation, energy, and anxiety relief.

Haven't tried yet, but very sticky and smelly sativa , very exited 2 try. Good sativa but nothing special to me. Won't grow again

A beautiful plant, that is for sure. With an electric smell that made it stand-out from the beginning, the Acapulco Gold was amazing to grow. Next time I will allow it to get bigger, there was almost no stretch, which I found a bit odd, but the Veg was short. From the beginning I had a time deadline, and managed to have this last indoor grow s/d for the season, almost as promised. 10 weeks of Flower and Lots of details coming

Hard buds smells old school Sativa. Very easy to grow, she is a very resistant plant. I recommend this strain.

It was very easy to grow. I used Plagron and totally fine with it. Could get a bigger result with defoliation on the preflowering. Well, next time) Good buds, recommend.

Typically sativa buds from the sight. Will update further when are dryed and cured.Final weight will be around wet weight/4.5, will be updated further. Update So most of the moisture has gone and the buds are curing in open jars. I have cut off most of the stems so real dry weight 175 which I'm very pleased with. Smell is citrus, sweet and pine but I expect to change a bit during curing. I ve tried a small bud and the effect is a great high and energetic. Highly recommend for people who want these energetic effects like me! Congrats Barney's Farm.

i harvested probably a week earlier than i wanted to do to light leaking in and creating pollen sacks on the bottom of the plants. but i’m super impressed and proud of myself for my first grow. day or nighttime smoke but it’s very cerebral. eases into relaxation after about an hour. friends have really enjoyed it which makes me feel good. no paranoia at all which is the worst side effect for me. really love it

First grow has been a success 🤤 Still slightly wet sitting in the jars at 70% plus. Got them in the tent with the dehumidifier on along with carbon filter as the outside humidity is elevated. Smoked a little and even now it’s a great sativa high. I’m glad I harvested when I did as it is more of an up-beat high. Smells amazing too

An all around great flower from Barney's Farm. Acapulco Gold's buds are great as a daytime smoke or as I like with a fresh hot cup of coffee. This sativa will get you moving with a fresh smooth toke. She's strong as well. Not for the novices. With enough thc% to put some pep into your step for 3½-4hrs. A nice easy come down from the long high is likely. Smells (to me) just like JuicyFruit Gum. With maybe a bit of honey in there too. If you happen to be fortunate enough to have tried this strain then you know what others are missing out on. Barney's Farm did well with this gal

Very tasty, really nice relaxed up high. Despite having fungus gnats it grew really well, the buds are compact and sparkling with trichomes

I really like this plant. she had some big colas and some large dense nugs. She is currently curing and i will update after she is ready.. now comes the hardest week of all haha

Great daytime Or nighttime smoke. Earthy spice smell with hint of citrus. Tastes exactly how it smells, smokes smooth and provides an exceptionally clear, almost psychedelic, high. In large doses, like a blunt or several bong rips, this will put me straight out if I’m comfortable. I mostly smoke it from morning to evening.

Dryed out really nice. In jars atm. Strong citrus smell/ skunk. Super sticky. Cant wait to try.

I will preface this by saying keep in mind that this is only half of my second grow ever, I also did it all organic with an 11/13 flowering light cycle, so the yield isn’t eye dropping. This was a fun but difficult grow, and stirs my suspicion more that this really isn’t Acapulco Gold - I’m definitely not saying that it for sure isn’t, but if Barney’s Farm could share the origin story of how and where they actually found this strain and about who they obtained it from, then I could be more sure. I fully apologize for my doubt if it really is AG. This is a strong strain in THC content, but the high doesn’t match the AG experiences I have had previously, nor does it look or smell like it. Also the plant is short, stocky, and broad leaved, not like the AG of yore. I would say that all of this could just be the phenotype of this seed, but when researching other journals on this site and off, it seems to be the dominant phenotype. @donovanliam has a good example of the phenotype that we should be expecting more of from this strain. Mine didn’t smell very good while growing either - often it was a very acrid and unpleasant aroma. The pine smell that did come out during flowering has disappeared during curing, and it isn't because I cured bad - I did it completely by Ed Rosenthal standards. *Edit: after about two weeks into my three week paper bag cure, the smell has become more pleasant and sweeter, but is still not that great. I kept my rating at a 6 though, because it does yield well, has a lot of THC content, and looks pretty. Since this does have lots of THC, this still could be for you if you don’t mind it being sub par on flavor and aroma. My trimming scissors were also completely caked with hash, and it gave me a good hash ball at the end. Also, I think that with synthetic nutrients, you can probably bring out more of the better attributes of this strain.

Fantastic strain! I had a heat issue near the end and got some nanners, but it was so late in the cycle, it didn’t matter. Huge yield and amazing smells in the jar. Great feelings and the buds are dense and burn forever!
