Northern Light Auto is a famous strain that produces a large amount of resin, blooms quickly, withstands low temperatures and produces large yields. It is an indica dominant hybrid of the original Northern Light.
The variety has dense resinous buds, a chunky structure and yields 300-400 g / m2 after 70-84 days of flowering. It has good resistance to plant diseases, insects and cold. Northern Light Auto is well suited for hidden growing on the balcony. It is recommended for novice gardeners who do not pay much attention to the plant.
The taste is intense spicy earthy with hints of pine. The effect is relaxing and improves mood, as well as helping to relieve pain, stress and depression. The THC content is about 14-18%.

Would def recommend this strain for a newbie grower. I really just had to get out of the way and let her grow! I struggled most with ph issues during veg. I think I ran these girls a little hungry because I was afraid of overdoing it on the nutrients. But chopped her last night. Inspected the root system. Trimmed some of the very crispy leaves off before hanging. Now Rachel is in the dry tent. Need to get humidity up a but grateful I opted for a separate smaller dry tent. Thanks everyone for following along and for the encouragement! Blazing one up for you (in a few weeks 😉)

I’ve grown this strain twice and this time was nothing like the first time lol. The structure was the same but this time I was hoping I’d have the same pretty buds like the first time. It was a little airy and hairy w/ pistils to the point it was hard to press and get return product. Definitely plan on growing this again to try and tame this girl.

Only had a little so far as its literally dry this morning, but its certainly nice and has a tropical, piney, hashy smell and taste to it. Should develop nicely over time.

This plant did well once I corrected the nutrients, and it was a trooper through all my mistakes and I will certainly grow it again.

This is some night time or nap time weed for sure. But I have no complaints because indica dominant strains are my favorite. So basically down to numbers...Pink Marker was harvested on day 71 and yielded 40.7g and Green Marker was harvested a week later, on day 78 and yielded 47.7g. I think from now I'm going to let my plants yellow up a bunch like I did on Green Marker. Smaller plant but nugs were so much more dense. Could it be the extra week? Who knows but I'm going to continue the trend on harvesting when a bunch of yellow leaves are present. Thanks for stopping by for another one! Till next time...

The grow conditions where poor so at the end it was difficult to keep the NL good. I had a mold problem at the end, just before the harvest.

I've really like growing Nirvana's NL for the past year or so. It's a great starter strain, and I've been able to see my progress as I improve. I think at this point I'm ready to explore some other strains, but I will probably always return to this one as my fall back. It's so hardy and can certainly weather some neglect!

Well, she survived! The resilience of this strain has so far made it a very good beginner plant for me. I can very easily tell where I need to improve and how each plant is better than the next as I learn.

The grow was pretty straight forward. She had very little issues except the fact that she grew in a too small pot. One Gallon is not enough, but this was a test run. I would call it pretty successful. I used Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil mixed with perlite. Nutes were NFTGs at full strength. Around day 50+, she had to be fed every day. Finally smoked some last night and wow this is some good stuff. Nice sour citrus flavor that reminded me of some sour diesel I had a while back, but with less cat piss flavor. I am looking forward to the cure being done and getting to finish off the rest of this in my vape. I would 100% grow this again.

Overall, I'm very happy with this plant. It was stunted by very cold weather and rain. But for a 12 inch pant, it gave me almost half an ounce. And what there is is very nice. It tastes just like the photoperiod stuff I've gotten in the shops. It's very smooth, and super relaxing. It melts away stress. I had some before bed the other night, after drying for 4 days and curing for a week and a half, and I was mellow and relaxed all the next day. I might try this strain indoors later, but I'm going to stick to photoperiod NL for a while.

It survived my first ever grow, and still produced some good bud despite all my mistakes! I'll be growing this same strain for my next few grows so I can easily compare my progress over time.
