Will update further after cure complete. Harvested at beginning of 14th week from seed. Of the three plants that finished in this run, this one probably got the best flush even though it wasn't the longest. Started to see yellow and blue by the time it was cut. Mild trimming at harvest. Went 10 days drying at around 60-70RH. Dried on string in boxes, dry trimmed some, moved to paper bag for a few days where RH ended up at 58. May have over dried slightly. Sealed paper bag inside a plastic bag for a few days before continuing to jarring. My drying process was experimental, but wanted better smell from buds than what I'd achieved with other plants grown with this one. The smaller stunted cheese smelled amazing, but the smell faded during dry/cure and it didn't taste the best. That one got the least days flush, but its potential was still evident. This cheese had more dense buds (still not as dense as Early Miss). Some of the buds turned out bluish, most likely because night temps were 57-60F and it was colder during 48 hours dark. It smells just like the other cheese--both Canuk freebies from separate orders. The smoking experience is mild to moderate with a heavy indica lean. Mild-to-moderate head. No anxiety. Heavy body. Too much and it can cause drowsiness. Good night cap cultivar for me. At first, I thought this one didn't smell as strong as the first cheese, but I must be getting desensitized because others say it reeks. I would definitely grow this again, but I doubt mine got up to the advertised 22% THC. More like 15. Yes, this plant was stressed in early grow, but rebounded nicely. Relative to the Early Miss from CKS also in this grow, this cheese is maybe a little less potent even though the Cheese is supposed to be more potent according to the respective company's information. It would make sense that Canuk's cheese is similar to other/original cheese strains which seem to be listed around 15% THC, but who knows, maybe it could become killer with a better grow/grower.

Week 4 is now Here and running into some issue with bug spray really did a number on my girls. The XL Haze plant bounced back quick, Thank God for good gene. This week I will also raise the light a bit to get the girls to stretch a bit more. This week will also be the first day the girls get a some actual nuts

On day 81, the plant has shifted resources into bud development and the results have been beautiful, the plant has also flourished with low doses of nutrients in order to avoid nutrient stress. The buds are sticky to the touch and give a slight citrus and cherry/raspberry smell, with continued purple transformation of the plants cells.

The smell is really starting to come in. Bought 2 sets of 80 mm internal fans to increase the airflow through the plant and in the box. Many of the lower leaves are curling down and I think it was a mixture of the high morning humidity and the lack of air flow. Now there are 5 internal fans and a large external fan, and it should be more than enough air flow. Growth is starting to slow finally, the height is perfect right now but I have a feeling it’s going to keep getting taller. I keep tying her down as best as I can.

30% indica, bagseed, amazing smell, berry, fruit punch. So sticky, beautifully cured. Was smoking immediately 2 days into jars.

Day 22: Decided to do some LST as the dark green leaves are getting better! These babies are growing strong 💪 I am still very gentle with the feeding, and that are going to continue until more is needed Day 26: The girls have fully recovered from the LST. They already was 1 day after. Everything seems to go smooth so far

Hello!! Too bad I only found this site now and didn't take too many photos during the first month. About the plant, it was the smallest of my plants at first, but then it grew very weel and now is the biggest of my girls. She entered in flowering a week later than expected, but beacuse of that she could grow more than the others. I've done only some LST and the plant just loved it, now i have like 11-12 main stems. Today I also have done some lollipopping but very cautiously because it was my first time doing it, and I didn't want to mess up.

Forgot to water these ladies for a couple of days but after a heavy watering and a good feeding they perked right back up. I have 2 flower tents running with sunset sherbet right now. Regardless of wether I think they are ready or not I will be switching them to flower in 3 more weeks. Can’t wait to see how these ladies flower!

Last couple of days... No watering from today, (Day 129) and the light will be switched off as well from tomorrow (Day 130) so I will harvest them approx on Day 132 or 133 on the 18th week :)

Start of week 8 (day 50). Started the week off with a little recharge&water. I had to rig up some branch supports to compensate for compounding nugs. I'm pretty sure a pack of papers is a standard measurement? I've been struggling to get out of bed from knee pain (awaiting my 3rd surgery). And really not sleeping at all. The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day.
