Day 43 of flower: This week was great again. Tied a few branches up that had fallen. All the ladies look and smell amazing. Afghan kush early harvest will be the first done for sure. 🔥💨✌️🏼💚

The girl continues to mature:) the flowers look shiny and sticky, the smell is amazing:) I think she has a maximum of 2 weeks left :).

So we had a long hard battle with spidermites over the last few posts and im under the impression they are gone and i won the war with them as of recently tried a bunch of things commercial organic nothing worked so i made a concotion of tea tree and Eucalyptus essential oild and a small amount of soap and that seems to have worked . They are showing small buds. They have been through a tough two weeks thats why i havent posted. As of today they are recovering greatly and should be back to full health in a week or so then they can focus solely on budding. Ive also tooken quite a few clones and topped them as im going to be attempting a sea of green next and will be starting a grow cycle for those.

Day 50 since seed touched soil. From now on all is in stable position. Joe always will be in left corner, under fan, he was lowest, so it was smart to put him under. Plants dont grow well next to fan. 5 liters went in, want good run off and saturation. Later today will install second level of scrog. Reposition all shoots, some are lost, i almost regret instaling scrog, lost control of even height a bit, but canopy is very dense, branches went fatter during that week, i am happy . Mars TSL2000 is on 80% will increase to 90% at the end of this week. Day 53. Second level of scrog almost eaten, will have to make third, plus heavy clearing awaits next week ... Day 54. Think tomorrow is watering day. Girls need good clearing, bottom canopy been canibalised heavily, lack off air shows a lot. Will do third level of scrog together with watering. Day 55. Watered Joe, he is lowest, but looks nice. Think all deficiencies behind. Made light clearing, only bottom shoots which has 0 chance to make it, took part of LST down. So, this week started off with the plants transplant into the final pot. 10L of All-Mix soil with 2L of added perlite, 50 grams of RQS Easy Boost and 100ml of worm humus. Day 8: Looking healthy after the transplant, watered with 250ml of 6.1pH water. Day 9: Looking a little less greener than I would like to and a bit rugged. I guess I overwatered a little bit. But overall it´s pretty healthy. The idea now is to be gradually lowering the light to about 50-60cm without stressing the seedling too much. Day 10: Looking healthy and green. I´ll watch out for overwatering. Day 11 to 14: Well, she had some problems with thrips and got some life scars, I found two thrips, once in a day and then another, but I got them fast and they didn´t leave much damage. Also, I sprayed some Total Explosion to get rid of all thrips. Watered with regular water and not sure yet if I´m doing any training with her, let´s see.

No veg phase, no forced speed — just letting the plant express itself naturally while guiding structure gently. From early life, our approach has been: • Leaf bending instead of topping • Minimal stress, frequent observation • No rush — letting the plant tell us when it’s ready Up until now, all work has focused on: • Building a strong, open frame • Keeping internodes exposed to light • Preparing the plant for flower without shocking it Week 6 from seed marks an important moment: 👉 The transition into flower structure, even if pistils are only just starting to show. This week is less about growth speed — and more about setting the stage. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work & Plant Training (This Week) This week we went a little harder than usual, on purpose. What We Did • Continued leaf bending, but with more intention • Light lollipopping of the lower, shaded growth • Selective defoliation (not a strip-down, not a clean shave) • Introduced plastic clamps to guide branches outward Why We Did It Leaf removal • Improves airflow inside the plant • Reduces humidity pockets • Helps light reach meaningful flower sites • Removes leaves that were blocking, not contributing Lollipopping (light) • Cleans up growth that would never reach the canopy • Helps the plant redirect energy upward • Makes future watering and airflow cleaner Clamps & bending • Opens the plant instead of stacking it • Creates multiple dominant tops • Avoids cutting or topping stress • Allows gradual correction instead of forcing angles We don’t see this as “defoliation” in the aggressive sense. We see it as guidance and clarification. Nothing here is done in one session or out of frustration. Everything is done slowly, plant by plant, read by feel. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day temperature: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (based on plant height and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm As outside temperatures remain cooler, the room itself has naturally become its own heat source: • More plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added This allowed us to stabilize the environment without forcing heaters or extremes, which is exactly how we like to work. Airflow • Vortex extraction • Cross-winds with multiple fans • Constant, gentle movement across the canopy No leaf flutter chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear nutritional transition. • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning to 6.0+ from now on) From this point forward: 👉 All feedings will be pH 6.0 and above Why Higher pH Now? Update 29/8/2021 Nothing much going on last couple of day's today the pots ran dry again so i've watered them and gave new nutrients. some leaves still start to turn yellow but i'm just leaving them as they go now. 1 plants is still not really showing any progress in growth.. the 2 others slowly seem to grow. Update 1/9/2021 Hey Folks, again not much action this week. picking some dead leaves left and right. but thats it. Really starting to think that 1 plant is lost. it doesn't show any more growth. we are slowly getting closer to the finish line. and man do i want to finish this.. and start a new cycle with all the knowledge I have now.😎 stay safe🙏

Ai Gude Growmies was ein Wurzel Porno! Was mir aufgefallen ist bevor es umtopfen losging war das bereits Wurzel aus dem Topf Moos von den Boden Platten in ihrem Griff hatten. Die Umstellung von Mineralisch auf Organischen Dünger scheint ohne Probleme zu funktionieren nur 1 Verfärbtes Blatt von unten sehe ich als normal. Die Wurzel Zone sieht einfach aus wie aus dem Bilderbuch! Da ich sie auch seit der Austrocknung nur noch mit Wasser gegossen habe mit abgedeckten Topf Oberfläche aus Pflanzenmulch und Resten für Bodenleben und Wasser speichern. Diese Zombie Kush hält bis jetzt jedes Wetter aus und ist extrem Widerstandsfähig. Erhalten habe ich ihn Test Steckling von Krumme-Gurken als selektierten Purple Pheno. Ob diese Schönheit im Herbst lila wird oder nicht ist mir bei der Widerstandsfähigkeit schon Fast egal wenn die Blütezeit auch so weiter geht.

Put her in the gazebo to keep her as dry as possible.

Smoked those buds I chopped off last week, lovely high, long lasting. Really strong diesel smell. The bottom half of the try is drying up, a couple of branches were completely dry, others had a bit of dry buds. I've removed those dry branches and will be adding a question to try to understand what is going on with those branches. I had the same thing on the Peach Puree CBD and was told it was because of wrong watering, some roots drying up but I doubt this is the case here, she was watered well and not drying up, she also has some mulch on top and can't see that the pot is drying up she is also drinking very little water. Another theory could be because the light isn't reaching those lower branches, so they are giving up. Did some defoliation on the top part too, buds are growing well, can't wait for her to finish already.

Day 50. Girls are running fine. Found some strange black curled leaves, had to apply Leaf Coat just in case. Was stupid enough to spray already flowering auto tent, all pistils went dark and girls look like shit. I know it doesn't influence final result but its a shock and all photos will look like shit from now on .... So here i did it purely for not doing later ... ;)) Blue dreams are biggest plants, Kalini Asias and Runtz end up somewhere the same, but smaller than BD. Silica, water, feed. Thats the plan for this week. Day 53. Girls got Silica Acid yesterday and it was too early ;))) i have to move lights, but i don't want to induce more run, inner spacing is enormous on couple last nods ... Better to use in early veg and after stretch ;))) Video shows it all ... Day 53. Evening. They just run to the sky, some girls are rubing LED's ;))) If i raise lights today - ill have to repeat it tomorrow, still almost 2 weeks of stretch left ... will go "slow burn" way ;)))) Happy Growing !

Total days above ground: 63 Total flower nights: 24 Just beyond 3 weeks into flower and the plants are showing their potential. The Mountaintop Mint has made great strides but is still a lanky bitch. I had to HST every branch, and may need to bend a couple more down before vegetative growth abates. Not a fan of this growth pattern and still unhappy about 2 out of 9 seeds providing a viable outcome. The bright side is that yield should be fine given the plethora of bud sites. Despite being difficult to grow next to other plants, I feel much better about its prospective outcome than I did just 1 week ago. That whole "crazy shit can happen in flower" thing rings true, again. Overall the canopy has filled in nicely. I have a couple spots where light is wasted and I'll make some adjustments to the process to fix that for future grows. Now that I've settled on plant size and number of plants, improvements can be made each cycle until it's clockwork. I like the 12-cola vs 8 cola experiement. I've got a fairly long list of edits to make to various sections of my "bible," which means I liked the outcomes of most of my incremental adjustments. Continual, systematic improvement in action... One other incremental change on the docket but not yet realized will be dropping nutrient concnetration once vegetative growth ends. Exact timing will be based on what I see in the foliage. I see some minor tip curl and its a bit darker than I want. So, it may come sooner than later. This'll be something I tweak over the next few grow cycles until I'm happy with the late-flower health. I'll drop fertilizer concentration 10-15% on next refill and see how that plays out. It'll take a couple refills of reservoir to near 100% transition without draining it. If necessary, I'll drain and do a full refill for more pressing needs. A rez scrub before final stretch is coming, regardless. Side note: The impacts of VPD can be enormous. Last year (2025-2 diary) I had a humidifier wick get fouled and RH dropped while VPD spiked for more than a few days, thinking I could power through or that the canopy would soon provide more moisture. Nope, growth stalled in a significant way. By comparing day 34-42-49 of 2025-2 and day 38-42-49 of this diary, I can see a huge difference in growth at same point above ground. The consitency with which i do things makes it fairly certain it's the extende period with extremely high VPDs that caused the difference. Also, interesting that it mostly catches back up by completion of third week of flower. The size difference is nearly undone by this point, though 2025-2 took 4 days longer vege phase to get there. Even so, I still think this grow is more than 4 days ahead of 2025-2 (the difference in vegetative phae duration). Time will tell if the development is ahead of the pace in 2025-2 or whether it's simply mostly an offset due to a less efficient vege phase for 2025-2.
