MAY 20TH - TODAY is the first day the plants wake up from their 18/6 cycle down from 2 weeks at 20/4. They got their first SCHWAZZE and shaping at this stage getting them ready to grow into the beautiful sea of green each of these beds are to become. The uniformity of the clones reminds me how much of this has become muscle memory to me, From doing thousands of plants per grow this has become second nature for me. The ladies are 100% organic at this point and our feed I am considering releasing it for anybody who is interested as a way to fund raise at the same time ! First grow of my life. Have a very basic and mostly DIY setup but so far (day 6) seedlings have kept a consistent growth and have initiated their set of second serrated leaves. Should have two full sets by tmr evening (end of day 7). I noticed that they were very dark and slightly droopy. started giving them bit more to drink and they have responded well. To all exp growers, any constructive comments, advice etc would be great. Plz refrain from commenting if all you have is hate to share! Stay safe friends!

This tester strain from Mephisto is by far the sweetest smelling plant that I’ve ever grown. Honestly, I didn’t know marijuana could smell this way. I don’t think she’s going to yield much, but that is also because she wasn’t trained exactly how I wanted. I have two more seeds and will definitely pop another one my next round.

Definitely would’ve been better had I not moved but nonetheless it was a great run overall, super frosty and sticky with not very dense buds which made for a difficult trim but I didn’t mind.

Day 1 ....mostly LST to straighten the mains stems...I normally miss this tight window.. it reduces the risk of the stems breaking later.. Will top again this week. End up with 4 main nodes.

Since last week she’s only grown a Mear half an inch and has slowed down considerably! Could of been the hydro/coco nutes or could just be one of them things that happen ya know as the rest are fine and growing at fast paces and all have been treated the same and fed the same etc! But yeah some plants react different to nutrients and yes wrong nute formulas can do this as I’m testing the theory on an auto I started outside that’s now inside on its own and it’s showing so many problems so I get to highly suggest no one makes the mistake of thinking it’s ok to use them! I only ended up using them due to being Mis sod over a counter and I expected without reading it to be what I’d asked for! But we’re here and lessons are learned! But she’s smelling so sweet and tasty already and well my purple couskush was a little slow then boomed and ended up being the biggest yielder so we’ll see! But either way I think I have another zammi in the mystery mix DOSIDOS it’s either that or purple punch! I’m just waiting to see! 😌

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! She is getting fat! What a great plant she is - again, little to no deficiencies, other than some light burn but I could not complain to have such strong genetics for my first ever grow! Trichomes are not too cloudy, so still a while to go but what an AUTO!

Howdy doody folkeroonies! decided to chop the one which was showing some brown trichomes. Glad i did as finally have enough room in the grow tent without everything squishing together! I’ve got it drying in a box. Not sure if no airflow is an issue, I've asked this in Questions. One of the GSC’s is a little purple, brown. So nice looking and fat buds too!! Going away for 2 nights so planning on flushing all tomorrow morning before heading off. 1 plant chopped, 3 left to go. Probably another 2 weeks max before they’re all chopped.
