The OG Kush has wrapped up week 4 of flower. She got a healthy defoliation to expose bud sites, and is now on track to bulk up. She's been moved to the center of the tent for the rest of the grow. She's recharged and on cruise control from here on out...only removing dead leaves. Starting to smell like a funky citrus fruit. Still pretty light on the nose and trichome production has been minimal.

Hello. This is the end of week 10 and the beginning of week 11 of veg. She's doing good. Did some trimming up on her last week. Got some of those huge leaves taken off, so the branch tops can get some light and grow. Trimmed under the plant too. Took off those sucker branches, the ones that don't reach up through the canopy.. I'll let her heal this week and then turn her over to flowering next week. OK. Be Good. and Merry... Happy... to All.

Busy week getting the new setup going. GG is going really good has taken to training well. Expecting a bit of stretching off her in flowering. Can notice the sativa traits in her with more distance between nodes, and her slimmer sativa type leaves . Have noticed how sticky she's starting to get when training her, left with sticky resin coated fingers😋 she's a nice plant

Accidentally ripped off a branch during some stress training, totally my fault completely could have been avoided. Other than that she seems healthy what do you guys think? I have had a few gnats flying around it though and dried the soil out as much as I could before giving it another water. A lot more white hair progression this week.

These ones look to be moving from the stretching phase into full bud production now. I am starting to see more and more trichomes develop which is exciting. Carried a good bit of defoliation this week cleaning up the lower branches and removing larger leafs that block multiple bud sites. Light still is set at 90% power. ✌️🌱🙂

These XtraKush are also finally starting to grow. It took them a while but they doubled in a week. Still a little bit pale compared to the other two strains. With a new top layer of first worm castings and then neutral organic cocopeat to combat the gnat problem and we seem to have fixed most problems. Temps are going down at night, I'm trying to fix this by keeping it warmer in the attic where the grow is. In the coming week, I'm going to train/manifold them, they are getting a bit big. D64. We're at the start of the fourth week of flower, and today was a busy day. First, I had to remove the old lights before swapping in the light from my auto tent. All while trying to avoid trashing the plants in the way too full tent. Not an easy task. The entire mission, with changing the light in the auto tent as well, took a couple of hours. I wish I could keep the Greenception lights in the tent as they're high-quality lights, but the Kingbrite has a much lower profile and thus takes up much less space. Space that I desperately need considering how insanely much these girls stretched. One of the tops on the second girl has unfortunately already been bunt by being too close to the light, and I'm sure I will run into light bleaching and probably foxtailing as the grow progress, but I hope I will be able to pull it off with the Kingbrite light. I also added some wire support to the branches that I super-cropped, as they looked somewhat sad after all the abuse to the canopy while swapping the lights. ------------------------------ D66. It looks like the girls have FINALLY stopped stretching. Phew! Yesterday, I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.2 with humic acid and EM-1. Today, the green lacewing larvae (Chrysoperla Carnea) arrived, and I dispersed them in the tent to deal with the thrips. ------------------------------ D68. All is well in the tent, but now when the thrips are (hopefully) under control, it's time to address the VPD. It has gotten seriously out of wack due to dropping temps, plus I increased the humidity to make the environment more inhospitable for the thrips. The temps were low due to the light change as the new one is running a lot cooler, but the temps have also dropped outside. The heating in the lungroom has been off until now, so I turned that on and lowered the humidity threshold on my exhaust fan. Finally, I put my small humidifier in the tent, generating extra heat and decreasing the humidity. So far, the VPD has increased from a terrible 0.4-0.5 to an acceptable 0.9, and I'm hoping it will increase further as the ambient RH drops as we move into winter. ------------------------------ D70. We're at the end of the fourth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. The VPD has gone up to 1.0, which is a nice improvement to what it was only a couple of days ago. I haven't scouted yet for thrips, but I will give the lacewings a couple of days to do their thing and then look closer. However, I went to WAR against the spider mites we have in our ornamental plants in the apartment. I sprayed all plants with my homemade pesticide (capsaicin, alcohol, horticultural soap.) since I had it at hand. If that fails to knock the spider mites back, I'll bring out the neem oil instead. The infestations aren't bad (yet), but it would suck to get mites into my tents, so better to be proactive. ------------------------------

I started germination of 4 Gelat.Og beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Gelat.Og. I've grown this one out several times and I'm just absolutely in love with these genetics. One of the best terp pallets I've came across. Extremely creamy and rich aroma with a kush kick... majestic! She packs amazing bud structure and is a real branchy hauler. She packs a pretty large stretch, about 200% on average. Plus she has a bit longer of a flower time for a indica dominant... in my experience about 11 weeks. She gets a strong demand for more phosphorus mid flower. A good spike with the pk booster and shes happy as Larry! Another Seedsman masterpiece right her! Amped to dive In to this grow.

Keeping an eye on her for any signs of stress. Transplanted to a 3 gallon pot on 4/18. Dirt settled more than I anticipated therefore had some extra space on top of he pot, hence the crease. I have been using 25% of the light intensity up to today which I increased now to 50%. No nutrients have been added so far. Will be looking into LST by next week since at the moment when I bend the plant some leaves touch the dirt. Also got a new sensor for temperature a humidity that allows you to see trends thru the day.
