4/8/2023 Week 8- Day 1 of Veg (Day 66 overall) I still have 1, 1/2" of clearance to the net. The Competition will hit the half way point on Wed, that leaves exactly 10 weeks left from Wed. So I decided to go ahead and top off the water by adding 10 gallons to the system today. I added the appropriate Nutes. I am considering 2 plans now that I have decided that I am going to flip to flower on Saturday no matter what. Plan 1, I can evaluate throughout this week and flip earlier than Saturday if needed which would mean draining my system on that day adding week 1 Flower Nutes to the tank and start Week 1 of flower that day. I decided to go before before Saturday I will go ahead and change the water to week 1 flower, the same day I change the lights to 12/12. Then I will wait until the second Saturday so say 10 days if change my lights on Wed and then run Week 2 water/Nutes into Week4 and starting Week 5 change every week for rest of Grow. If I make it until Saturday will keep Week 1 Nutes until Week 3 and then starting Week 4 change every week until done. I hot climates pests are pain in the as$ I had to do something about pest management and i found neem oil with wood vinegar in s going to help me as an organic pesticides. I apply every week until flowering .my fabric pots getting dry to fast with this experience now i know fabric pots under 100 liters capacity are not meant for living soils in hot dry weather.

She is still showing some healthy growth as the weather is great these summer days. Most notably she is getting more and more white pistils everywhere.

Growing good since the transfer

These girls are looking amazing the sparkly glitter everywhere, they are nearly on week 5 flowering, the smell they are putting out is grape gas OG Kush with some orange peel diesel funk. ⛽️

This strain was a lot of fun to grow, Training was easy, it responded well and rolled with the punches, She was CalMag hungry as that as my only noted deficiency. She was chopped at day 69, would have been 70 but I had mothers day plans with the Ol' lady. The wet weight is everything but the bigger fan leaves (larf galore) I had so much trim. I love the smell I loved growing it, but I do not like how airy the buds turned out, I use quality LEDs and have a white widow in another journal that grew along side it under the same conditions, even the same trainings to the point where there structured extremely similarly, and the White Widow is ROCK SOLID. BUT with that being said, the trichome production was very nice, the sugar leaves will leave me with a lot of hash (half the buds were considered larf but were so sticky and covered in trichomes) and the smell is very sweet, berries and a hint of lemonaid and must. Keep in mind this is a taste after just a couple days of drying a sample bud and no cure. Overall its definitely smokable ill probably give some out but I would rather keep the airy stuff for me to smoke/process because I love it all. I am currently taking the week as a T-break so I can give everyone here a proper smoke report, including myself. Dry bud weight is only 51g BUT all the trim did get me a couple of grams, probably 3 of some incredible hash, The Hash taste like blueberry pie and a glass of lemonaid, the flower is similar but with a bit of a musky punch, the high hit me straight in the head and had me laughing at myself for getting so stoned, literally all i wanted was that pie and lemonaid that's all that I had on my mind. after a bit it mellowed out into a nice relaxing sativa feel, I wasn't nearly as full of energy but I was by no means tired either.
