Week 8 marked the final stretch of mid flower, and she’s really starting to show off. Buds continued stacking steadily across the canopy with thick white pistils and frost ramping up hard. Trichomes are now fully visible on the sugar leaves and showing the first signs of cloudiness. On Day 50, I watered with Cal-Mag (1 ml/gal) before heading out of town for a few days. She held up great while I was away — no droop or stress. On Day 56, I brewed and applied Compost Tea (Tea Party #4) as a full-strength drench and refilled the auto-watering base with the rest. I also refreshed the topsoil to maintain moisture contact. Some purple has started showing up on the buds, and the fade has officially begun on the lower fan leaves. No new training this week, just some tucking to keep bud sites exposed. The aroma is ramping up and she’s entering the home stretch with a strong structure and healthy energy heading into Week 9.

Still some issues with black flies as they keep coming back despite of the nematodes. I'll treat the soil with nematodes again this week. It doesn't look like it is affecting the plants anymore but I don't want them ending up in my stash 😉. The plants are looking very strong and healthy, growing even faster than last week. Still not sure at this point if I want to do LST or just let them grow. According to the strain info this ladies can grow up to 135cm inside so it's probably a good idea to do LST at some point. I'm also cutting back on the Alga Grow this week to prevent excess nitrogen in the blooming stage.

All it's going great. 2 waterings of 8ltr on 03/01 no runoff and second on 06/01 9.5ltr! Runoffs PH at 6.2. Purchased larger dehumidifier and installed on 03/01 instantly humidity decreaseed from 55-59 to 50-55 on avg. and at night from 62-69 to 54-60. Light from 01/01 on max power output 110 watts. Nutes slightly adjusted. Buds on both girls gaining size, weight. Trichomes on Athena mostly milky and clear with only very few ambers. Xena mostly 50/50 clear and milky, They are smelling gorgeously, not sure if I should smoke or eat them first. Next week will still feed with nutes and keep an eye on trichomes development but it seems that girls are not in a hurry at all. That's okay me neither 😁 Stay tuned for next week entry very soon! Pow pow and welcome in Week10 - official start of Week4 of flower 🙌 There would be no week without a struggle. After sorting out humidity levels and investing in pro dehumidifier we are now under extremely hot weather hitting 30 degrees Celsius every day. Trying to cool down tent as much as I can throwing ice inside every few hours and hoping that high temps will not effect in any stress that could follow with hermaphroditism - for now all good 😅 Noticed some burned tips on leafs so for next couple days watering with only pH’d water to let those girls use any extra nutrients. So as we step into week 6 things are starting to shape up nicely Seedsman - strawberry banana grape are fantastic frosty and loads and loads of heads due to me topping Seedsman- peyote gorilla wow I have not smelt bud like it before wonderful and full of thc Inhouse genetics- dolato is one frosty girl and starting to pack on weight Inhouse genetics- platinum gushers 2 different phenos one throwing out more people's red Inhouse genetics- slurrcaine smells like heaven and is the most dankest in my pheno hunt Phoenix seeds - super kush I brought these over from my last run very fast strain and smells really sweet Zamnesia seeds-larry bird kush 3 different phenos all smell different can't wait to see the out come Barney's farm - phantom OG I don't know where to start with this just simply dank Seedsman - bubba kush was a freebie which I didn't care about or take clones and omg its probly one of the best smelling plants I'm running so Im going to reveg it I can't lose this pheno Seedsman - super silver haze OG another freebie what I got and am quite pleased with Last but not least Seedsman- limited edition wedding cake 😋 I'm excited for this one but takes quite long to pack on the weight all in all I'm quite happy

This grow has just remained on autopilot, I am very pleased. I have cut back water a bit they were looking a little unhappy going to give them a dry back and not feed a whole day.

So this week flushing began. Flushed with water pH 6.0 EC 0.1, I won't harvest the plants untill the run off EC is the same as the Input EC. Temps also brought down to preserve Terps as much as possible. Serious smell coming from both strains, Buds are somehow getting even frostier. Can not wait to harvest these two strains!

Week 10 - Here we go … we’re at Day 64 or the very first day of week 10 from seed. It’s been a nice journey so far with no big issues except for a slight deficiency in the first week of flowering, which I duly adjusted by starting off Plagron’s green sensation or HULK juice as I like to call it. Now we’re heading onto the finishing line with dense buds boasting an array of colours and covered in trichomes. I’m keeping the trichomes under check and currently they are 90% cloudy and 10% clear. Day 68 - woooooooh …. Nearly there Day 70 - Winter is coming Girls are ready for harvest and this time round I want to experiment a little. Starting today I increased the dark period to 10 hours and intend to give them 48 hours complete darkness before harvest somewhere around Day 77. The aim ? I read that simulating winter helps the plants increase their trichomes production for the last push before they die. I also decreased the temperatures and humidity levels. Will keep ya all updated 👍

Ne Obliviscaris. Humidity Day 40-45%, Night 60-65% Internodes are very close together. was hitting 450umol at seedling level making it absorb more than it can use, reduced to 280-300umol @18 hours as expected vertical growth increased. During the 18 hours of daylight the first 9 is highly saturated in blue, 5000 kelvin, the 9 hours thereafter are closer to 3000 kelvin. Last 9 hours dosed 280nm. Height is too far to cause damage. UVB light is not detected by plants in the same way other wavelength/colours are. UV cannot be measured using umol as it doesn't drive photosynthesis. The plant has tiny little sensors that get set off to even little amounts, dimer salt bridges, the UV decays these salt bridges, which initiate response. You don't need large/long exposure doses for the plant to recognize UV is present. What's an enzyme? Think of it like a multiplier, you can add an enzyme to any particular biological process to vastly increase its proficiency at a particular process. Cannabis plants take blue/violet light and use it to create an enzyme called "photolayse". This allows the plant to repair UV damage done to the plant using a process called excision repair, this repairs the damage at a much much faster rate than it could by itself. Repairing 100% damage. The key is the plant needs time to build a reserve of the repair enzymes before using it. This is replicated in nature as, by midday UV levels peak, the generally cooler mornings allow lifetime to build up. The problem I encountered was dosing with 280nm lights on or 1 hour after the lights were on. Photomorphogenesis, the plant plans for the future of its growth, if the wavelength is not present during growth then how can it plan accordingly? The very presence of UV changes parameters with which the plant will grow, light itself dictates the growth pattern of the plant. Not only that it can dramatically alter the regular terpene profile of a strain in unexpected ways. Gran daddy purple grown using 280nm can triple already high terpene linalool. Linalool is terpene best known for lavender, largely responsible for its beautiful smell. Trouble sleeping you say? Having tried Durban poison from a dispensary and reading about its levels of tetrahydrocannabivarin. I've always wanted to taste the difference UV would make to such an already stand-out strain such as Durban.

Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. D4 Was on holidays for 6 days she looks a bit yellowish overall, i hope it’s just a bit underwatering, because of the autowatering which i put a bit lower to make sure they are not overwatered. Hope she will be fine put some water today and will do so up to it feels heavy enough without draining it. 🤞 D5 watching her carefully.. a bit yellowish and red leave borders not quite sure what the problem is or if it’s just because she has only 3-4 weeks to go? let’s see..
