Zweite Woche im Oktober, das Wetter wird immer unbeständiger, die trychome sehen gut aus - Zeit für die Ernte. Ich habe erstmal einige Fächerblätter ohne Harzbesatz entfernt und den Rest zum trocknen aufgehängt. Aufgrund von Platzmangel teils in Umzugskartons und teils im Netz. Nach einer Weile habe ich die Blüten dann vom Stengel getrennt, Manikürt und ins Glas verfrachtet. Aufgrund der Menge war ich bei der Maniküre nicht all zu penibel und habe auch einiges zur späteren Weiberverarbeitung im Eisfach gelagert.

Moinsen, Tag 7: Ich hab schon wieder Thripse im hinteren Blähton gehabt, aber Plant Diddy hat genug Neemöl am Start. 💦 Ansonsten sieht alles gut und gleichmäßig aus. Tag 10: Die Thripse habe ich in den Griff bekommen denke ich, allerdings hat die letzte Dusche dann ein paar Spuren hinterlassen. Die Blätter der ersten Nodie sehen etwas trocken und angebrannt aus. Trotzdem sind sie ordentlich gewachsen und man kann jetzt schon sehen, dass die Black Dog etwas langsamer ist, als die anderen beiden. Das führe ich darauf zurück, dass sie eine andere Auto in der Genetik hat, als die anderen beiden. Sie hat die Super Auto drin und die anderen beiden haben die XL Auto drin. Im Moment scheint das Aer-DWC die Nase minimal vorne zu haben, was sich aber noch ändern kann und vermutlich auch wird. Endlich mal die in der Mitte, die groß werden will, hoffentlich 😅 Die ersten Ein-Finger-Blätter sind ziemlich groß und sie versuchen sogar noch Finger abzuspalten. Wirkt zuerst ein wenig Ducksfoot mäßig, aber das kenne ich schon aus vorherigen Runs. Ich bin jedenfalls hoch erfreut, dass sie ohne Zusätze so gut wachsen. Ich nutze dieses Mal kein Rhizotonic und auch keinen Boost. Es bleibt bei Vega/Flores A+B, Calmag Agent, PK13/14 und Cannazym 1/2 Dosis. Das Licht läuft im 24/0 Zyklus bei ca. 350 µmol/s/m², also einem DLI von ca. 30 mol/d/m². Dadurch habe ich keine Temperatur Diff. mehr, da es ja keine Nacht in dem Sinne mehr gibt und ich kann dadurch die Lichtintensität etwas vermindern. Ich erhoffe mir dadurch weniger Lichtstress, trotz hohem DLI und absolut gleichmäßige Umgebungsbedingungen, die sich überhaupt nicht ändern. Dadurch kann ich mich genauer an die Leistungsgrenzen rantasten, da die normalerweise vorhandene Dynamik in der Optik von Tag zu Nacht so statisch bleibt, anstatt dass die Blätter im Zyklus "rudern". Mal schauen, wie dieser Test so verläuft, aber bisher auf jeden Fall schon einmal deutlich besser, als ich es erwartet habe. Aber man soll ja den Tag nicht vor dem Abend loben....😅 Tag 12: Heute habe ich ein Video gemacht und danach leider erst festgestellt, dass die Black Orchid Auto erstmal so motiviert ist, dass sie sogar an den Keimblättern noch extra Finger bekommt. Sieht zumindest so aus. Ansonsten geht es ihnen gut, sie wachsen extrem schnell und der Run wird vermutlich wieder awesome, ich hab da so ein Gefühl 💪👽👍

09/01/22: The plants have definitely stopped growing taller and now are just concentrating all their energy into the bud production. Trichomes everywhere and all over the sugar leaves. Had a look at a sugar leaf under the microscope - not cloudy enough to be ready. Should be done in a few more weeks. Slowly but surely some of the stigmas are turning orange though no brown trichomes yet. the humidifier is doing a great job of keeping the grow tent under 50% humidity. Despite having a 4 inch carbon filter and fan the smell is slowly but surely creeping out of the grow tent - I can but imagine the smell if there was no carbon filter or fan. Not much more to do but wait until the browners trichomes come and more stigmas start to flatten and some turn orange.

Day 85, first day of Week 13. She gives off the most beautiful smell since today, wow, never smelled something like that 😍She is also still foxtailing like a freaky little monster, fading nicely. With her I'm a bit confused as to where I should be looking now, new foxtails trichomes or the older calxy behind the foxtails? Probably a mix. Read somewhere on Reddit, that they apparently pack on proper buds, so the foxtails get fat as well. I guess we will see. Happy days Day 87, checking trichomes everyday, still milky. She got more yellow since the last time I took pictures. Some of the foxtails have developed. Both plants got watered yesterday, with 2ml Flawless Finish. Smell still strong. Could be any day now aaaaaaaaaaaaah happy 😍 Day 88, at her daily trichome check she looked ready all of a sudden. Even on foxtails I see amber trichomes, funny mix actually, amber and clear 😁All over her buds she is a good 20% amber now. I think that should be fine for a Sativa. I chopped her and put her stem in a vase with ph water. A friend once told me a fairytale story, about how this does something good when compared with darkness. We will see, can't remember properly, it won't harm 🙏 She is a pleasant lady and weighs wet with stems 469g, which is more than my other wedding cake (244g). I guess that's great yeay. She is currently sitting in the drying tent together with wedding cake. Happy days Update Day 1 of Darkness in a vase full of water: She initially weighed 469g yesterday when I chopped her and put her in the vase. 16 hours later I had a little look inside the tent and checked the water in the vase, she drank quite a bit, about a quarter the amount. I weighed again and she now weighs 489g, not a big difference but still, I feel slightly sciency 👽Her buds seem sucked in and more dark but also more rich looking, if that makes sense. D29 Did top dressing with bone and kelp meal as well as worm castings. D31 Performed a little more LST, a few more days and I will let her do her thing. D32 More LST exposed lower nodes and evened out the canopy. D33 Removed all bonsai wire and rolled down the rim of the pot to even it out with to soil, more airflow. D35 Not much growth but overall looking pretty good. Heatwave last couple days keep temperatures higher than desired.
