All is good in the Scroggernaut and the plants are taking to their hempy buckets. Ladies were topped this week and responding well. VPD is on point as can be seen by the way the leaves are praying to the skies. The lighting is just killing it and Im not even cranked up yet. Trying to fiddle and keep the seedling plants on the other table close to the same size as the coco hempys, so Im using slowing techniques like early defo and light deprivation on the seeds. Really looking forward to what this strain has to offer and hope to get some variance in the phenos. very sweet and strong smell for fourth flowering week

This was a sad little plant, if only the fucking birds did not eat the original plant. They are so bloody annoying. Over all plant did ok, just the runt size is a massive let down. Will just dry this and give it to a friend to smoke. Week 5 of Flowering Begins....4 weeks to go....

Replaced nitrogen with omina, omina has 14.0.0. Stretch almost over, growth almost switched to full flowering. Increasing phosphorous and potassium, beauty of nature is it only takes what it needs. Started to remove some weights as stems starting to show solid reinforcement and are ready to hold fat cola. Fingers 🤞. Decreased hours of light to 10. Extended hours of cold @ night from 2 to 6 hours @59 Farenheight with 2 hours both sides @ 70&77 respectively.

Here's the updated feeding plan for this week: CalMag: 2.5 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.50 mS/cm) Grow: 1.5 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 0.5 ml/l EC: 1.2 mS/cm (600 ppm PPM-500/TDS) pH: 6.0 Each plant is watered with approximately 20% runoff to ensure there's no nutrient buildup in the coco mix. I will maintain this nutrient level until the pre-flowering stage to avoid the risk of nutrient burn due to over-fertilization. Weather Improvements and Adjustments The weather has been steadily improving, with temperatures expected to rise to around 25°C starting Wednesday, accompanied by abundant sunshine. This upcoming forecast is excellent news for my plants, as I anticipate a final growth spurt before flowering begins. Every centimeter of growth counts at this stage, and I'm optimistic about maximizing their potential under these favorable conditions. Strengthening with Wind Exposure On days with good weather, I move the plants out of the greenhouse to expose them to natural wind. This practice helps strengthen their stems, improving overall stability. Additionally, the wind creates a more challenging environment for pests, helping to keep them at bay. Smart Watering Strategy I only water the plants when the pots feel noticeably lighter. This encourages the roots to search for water, promoting the development of a stronger and more extensive root system. This method helps ensure the plants remain healthy and resilient. Pest Management: Observations and Actions At the beginning of the third week, I noticed dark discolorations on the undersides of some leaves. A few days later, these spots turned into yellow patches. I am still unsure about the cause of these spots. To prevent a potential insect infestation, I sprayed all the leaf surfaces, both top and bottom, with a mildly dosed neem oil mixture. Since then, the spots have not spread further. Because these discolorations are only affecting the lower leaves, they are not causing me significant concern at the moment. Regular inspections and preventive measures are crucial to maintaining the health of the plants and ensuring that any issues are caught early. Decision Against LST At first I have decided against using LST. But some of your comments made me try some LST on two of my plants. I choose Tangie and Gorilla cookies to try out and learn some stuff. Blue dream and Banana purple punch stay without any training. Tropicana flowers 🌞☀️🌤️🌦️🌧️ Plant is 15 cm high because of low stress training. The length is 31 cm. Day 36: Sun is shining, 15-23 degrees, high humidity. Tropicana gets two liters of pure rainwater. Spend the day in my veggie garden working. In the evening I brought some 🐞for Tropicana because I spottet a few lice. My mood changes drastically as I find spider mites eggs, first and second stadium. Don‘t overthink that and decide to defoliate the plant immediately. I prepare a tee out of the leaves which brings fast relaxation. My mood is much better now. Day 37 In the morning with better light I find more spider mites and decide to wash the plant with rainwater. Can‘t find after any more of these little killer dwarfs. I decide to bring more beetles and check the leafs more often. Temperature is felling under 20 degrees, it‘s raining and the humidity is 87%. Day 38 In the early morning I couldn‘t find any mites on Tropicana. Got to continue controlling this in the next weeks regular. I‘m sure they are still there somewhere hidden in a dark spot. 🌦️ 13 - 21 degrees and humidity is around 60-70%. Day 39 🌦️🌧️ Very rainy day. Just let Tropicana enjoy life and tie down the top one more time. 🐞 stay since some days. One on every plant. I think the mites are a result of their start inside and no hygiene at all. This plant is problematic. First of all, the Calcium deficiency is back whereas I feed her correctly and her siblings (GBK+OGK) don't suffer from this, so I assume she doesn't like the light as much as the other strains do, and she probably had too much light for the last weeks so I raised the plant-to-lamp distance, this should slow down her cal+mag consumption, let's see how this goes. Secondly, she stopped stretching, she will remain a short plant, and considering the number of colas on the manifold I built, things will become tricky. I'm already afraid of mold during late flowering, but I will keep a close eye on her and may remove some colas if she doesn't get enough air. Finally, she doesn't drink a lot. I'm a bit confused since I did proceeded to seedling selection and gave her good cares and much love. Wait and see, hopefully she will give some tasty frosty buds 😎 Thanks for stopping by!

Day 71 from seed the plant seems to be growing beautifully and now they are starting to develop beautiful flowers and they are entirely covered with white snow trichomes it is a very strong and powerful plant to grow what a beauty . I also I defoliate some of the lower branches that will not going to develop well enough because lack of light so they can use that energy on the upper buds instead of the lower ones. thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.
