Week 6 of flower - At the end of this week I defoliated down to mostly bud and sugar leaves for the final stretch. I fed them normal with no HP2. Feed this week was 1.25 gallons two times with about 4 days between. 750ppm total before add-ins. I used 750ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds. PH balance this week was 6.3. Next week I will add the HP2 back again while reducing the nutes for flush.

It’s not all glam fam, Im being challenged by the heat so I added another fan + adjusted hps light to max! These biches have sprouted like no other I’ve experienced in the past, and the smell is incredible already, strawberry being the most pungent 💯 Jah bless 🙏💨

Week 2 of Veg went really well! Overall I just continued the same nutrient feeding regiment I used last week just without a few due to them being Organic amendments they'll break down into the Soil releasing slowly so I'll amend with them again before Flower. I used Fish Shit or Fish Emulsion at a rate of 1tsp per gal and gave them both a Liter of the solution. The ppm was 200 and EC of 400. Then, a day of just H2O. Next, I gave them the MaxiGrow at a rate of 1tsp per gal and gave them a L each. The ppm was 710 and EC of 1420. Next, I gave them just H20. Then, I gave them Real Growers Soil Recharge at a rate of 1tsp per gal. The ppm was 105 and EC of 210. Then, I gave them The Stash Blend at a rate of 1tsp per gal, PPM of 705 EC of 1410. Oh I need to mention my H20 is always at a PH of 7.0 and all my Nutrient Solutions are a PH of 6.2. due to my grow medium being Soil. That's all for this week but overall what easy growing, well spacing, evenly looking, and nicely branching plants!!

Well, another week has passed and the end of the second week has come and the pistils have already shown themselves and I continue watering with top crop bloom, first time testing this fertilizer and I'm only using two of them, top veg and top bloom, next cycle I'm going to use General Hydroponics fertilizers because I have a friend who uses them and he's having great results, I still want to talk to my friends about this strain because I think it hasn't grown as it should, but anyway we're studying to improve ourselves for the next ones, the rest is all experience for the next ones it grows. =D

The harvest of the first medusa F1 hybrid at day 93 after germination. The trichomes were starting to turn amber. I probably could have let her ripen for a bit longer. I am amazed how fat she has gotten, the weight of the flower is too heavy for the branches. Way to go RQS for breeding such a fast growing autoflower. She is already in the drying tent for 5 days now at a temperature of 19 °C with a humidity of around 55-60%. I want a nice and slow drying process to preserve the terpenes and cannabinoïds. This will take about 2 weeks in my opinion, when the branches start to give a clean snapping sound when bending. I will make a harvest blog once the flowers are dried and I have weighed the buds for the yield. This lady only received some LST and a little defoliation throughout the entire grow. I also dont flush the plant at the end since this myth was debunked by a scientific article. A flush is only needed if you overfed the plant. Dr bruce bugbee also confirmed this. The dry tent smells of hay/grass, which is logical because the plant still has a lot of chlorophyll inside. Untill the harvest blog! Check my other Medusa F1's for the progress of the experiment. The ladies are opening up nicely after 48hs of planted (2 days) as normal, the pheno #1 has opened first let's see how they keep developing!

This week will arrive Bug Bud and Carboload by Advanced nutrients, let´s see how she responds :). Next week will rain a lot, so i will prepare myself and start giving her Botryprot by Prot Eco to prevent mold. Day 50 - She´s healthy. today is the first foliar day. I used 2,5ml/L of Botryprot. Overall she looks very happy, maybe needing some PK. She´s starting to have some fresh blueberry aroma. Fingers get sticky Day 52 - Feeding day. I added 1ml/L Alga Bloom making a total of 3ml/L. Sprayed her today again. Day 55 - Has been hot these days, feeding day today again. Today i added 1ml/L Bid Bud, 2ml/L Carboload and 1ml/L Alga Bloom. As she´s healthy i didn´t feel i needed to slowly introduce. Let´s see how she responds, but my experiments are going well :) I´m confident. Day 57 - Foliar spray today again. The storm will come in strong.

This past week has been a blast! After getting these ladies nutrition straightened out, they are thriving!💚🌱💚 I gave defoliated wayyy more than what I see other growers traditionally doing. After the "3rd and final haircut" I defoliated two more times 😅 Thank you the GD community for the support and resources along the way 🙏 My only concern now is the tent actually becoming too crowded.😆. Day 55/June 4, 2020: Amended topsoil with 10 tablespoons of Gaia Green 2-8-4 and 3.25 tablespoons of Gaia Green 4-4-4 organic slow release nutrients. Watered with PH 6.67
