Started using a fish 5-1-1 (one Tbs /gallon) twice a week with a general 3-2-2 (1oz/gallon). Noticed some holes in leafs starting from underneath, had seen this a little last week and trimmed those leafs off or at least most of them. I notices different leafs were affected and was worried it mite be spider mites. In response I mixed 3 essential oils (Cedar Mint, Peppermint, & Melaleuca Oil) with some water (pH 6.25) but did not check the ph of the mixture in the spray bottle. I sprayed the leaves and underneath the leaves and the surrounding environment in the tent. May have put too many oils in the the spray or perhaps the mixtures pH was way off because when I went to check on them again the leaves looked sick. I haphazardly trimmed off the leafs that were ill looking but left the ones that were not as effected and were not drooping. Hopefully the defoliation will inspire Runtz (one with rocks) to grow more branches/ potential bud sights as well as to inspire Blue Cookies (Middle ) to spread out her branches some more to increase surface area. Team Cream (Left-side) was affected the least from the spray and didn't have to prune more than a leaf or two. Team Cream is definitely consuming the most water of the three, being potted first and was the largest clone initially. She is full of surprises in terms of how I think she'll grow. None the less she is responding to training fairly well. If I'm not mistaken I would assume she has more sativa traits than the other two due to her wanting to grow in hight opposed toeing bushy and branching out. IDK it might be how I trained her /got her. Runtz is second in water consumption and responds to training the best of the three, although some lower branches are taking time to develop. Blue Cookies is consuming the least amount of water and has the most run off. Possibly due to being potted a day or two later as well as being the smallest of the clones at first and also suffered the most nutrient burn durringthe 1st or 2nd week when I was feeding them too much.

Filling out the trellis net. Looks like another 2-3 weeks until I flip the ladies. Using SST’s, LABS and natural inputs for this grow. I have made some mistakes in the past using Organics, but have figured out HOW to use them for an entire grow. The vegetative state, I have never had a problem with. The transition into the first 3 weeks is when I have had the most issues. After a little research and testing, I finally have a basic blue print of how to feed plants in flower for 10-12 weeks now or shorter. Mark Bowell from Perfect Gardens on YouTube and Mr Canucks Grow from Canada are my largest information inputs. Final Thank you to Mr McGooz for keeping me in the know. 10-11: yes, some of the stalks are turning purple. This is not due to phosphorus, magnesium, or any deficiency. It is due to the light being too intense for the plants. I am at the max distance and running the light at 30% ( it’s a 600 watt 🤣🤣). Soooo yeah, that purple is going to stay for a bit. Purple with other leaf discoloration or senescence IS a problem, purple stems with NO leaf issues isn’t serious issue. Cant it be fixed? We are going to find out….Photosynthesis Plus will be on hand in the next 5-6 days. This permits the plant to USE more of the photons ( yes, I have carbon in my media). This should minimize the purple and allow me to UP THE WATTS 🗣️🗣️ 10-14: spoke to my “guide” and we made the decision to go ahead and flower these ladies. We saw how much stretch there is to be had and realized we are currently filling the trellis by 75%. We are estimating the entire 4x4 area to be completely filled. I defoliated and pruned the smaller sites off the lower areas of the plant. Not quite lollipopping, just selectivity choosing sites to keep and bones that will get in the way. For transition I am using a ratio of 1:1:1 on NPK’s to ease the flip. The ppm’s will be between 750-800. Once we reach early flower, we switch the NPK’s to 1:3:2 ( flower girl by Dr Earth OR Fish bone meal and langbenite). I switch each feeding between the two for 5-6 weeks. At week 7 we switch to 0:3:3 ( seabird guano and Langbeinite) at 500 ppm’s. Week 8 the same feed. Week 9 kelpseaweed/water Only ( these are 10 week cultivars). Yes, normally one freaks out 😂😂😂 The slight deficiency is a sign that I can go ahead and start: The Flowering Cycle. When using Organics, you have to use your eyes because nothing is specific. Meaning: you have to see when the amendments are running out to A: Top Dress B. Make compost teas. We are going the compost tea route for flower. I made a video showing exactly what I use. The ratio is 5-5-5 ( yes earlier we were going to use 2-2-2, but we found out there is no calcium or magnesium in the all purpose mix by Dr Earth…another reason to learn to read your plants).

Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.

I used half the recommended dose of Indo products for each plant through this grow. The monkey juice is half recommended making it every week rather than full dose every two. The sticky bandit was fed with it every week at half dose till later on.

According to the trichomes the Blue cheese is already overdue for harvest but i wanted her to grow as big as i could ;) You can see the trichomes photos i know its a bad quality but im actually happy i maneged to take them pictures It was a pain in the arse to make them photos as bad as they are xD On Black Friday i ordered a better quality microscope with options of taking photos so in future harvests it will improve. I started the flush just yesterday and plan to dark her on the 5th of december (or so) As you can clearly see thanks to my great skill and experience in growing i managed to match the plants leaves with the colours of the actual golden grater ;P What a great achievement and view to beholde :D It was a joy to work with Mars Hydro and their equipment in this grow. A big thanks to the Mars Hydro team for this opportunity, you truly provide first class grow kits and lamps. the first crooked leaves were not a problem. the 6 plants are vegging nicely showing large broad leaves - two sets now and beginning to sprout the third set of leaves. started nutrients this week and root juice. 150ml filtered water every other day - lights at 20 inches and 60% power. the ladies are looking good!

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. All 10 plants that were to be ready for the Christmas season are completing their flowering phase. By now they are together with the laggards of the previous cycle and therefore they will be collected a little at a time between Christmas and next year. I will post more detailed photos for each harvest 😉 In this diary I posted all the photos of the past week including images of the two plants already collected.
