Days 67 - 73 (from seed) 4/8/24 - 4/14/24 Lamp distance: 12" @ 75% power (estimate 800+ PAR from highest point of canopy) VPD: leaf surface temperature averaging 68-72 degrees - humidity set to 45% Feed schedule: Each plant receiving slowly downward now to 1/3 gallon water daily + once a week feeding schedule and additional FPE every third day IPM: visual inspection only, no foliar Notes: Flowers are really swelling up this week. All plants in the tent now showing signs of senescence with Cookies & Berries just barely fading. As the week went on their need for water has slowly diminished back down to roughly 1/3 gallon a day, but a day or two in there they also received their 1/2+ gallon daily. Usually can tell how much watering they need by lifting the pots and determining by weight/feel, or if there's any water run-off but that is quite uncommon/undesirable. Hot Damn! currently reeking the most out of them all, lots of sweet funk when you just get near it. Vanilla Fizz has a very mellow smell check until you do rub it then it's a cheesy/funk bomb. Cookies & Berries seems to have the lightest appearance of resin coverage and the least nose out of the tent - but when you rub it the resin is very very tacky and smells of chemical citrus fruit, maybe pine. Mango Sky is fairly mellow too but after touching the flowers it's bold and sticky, smells like menthol (to me, but not unanimous) and tropical fruits.

I am happy with the outcome of this grow. This was my first time growing autoflowers and ILGM genetics. Total wet weight was 1301 grams Total dry weight 8.5 oz These plants are very hardy and grow tall very quickly with the tallest plant reaching 4 ft tall. Each plant grew very different bud structures which resulted in some very dense and very fluffy buds. If you are looking for a very uniform growing plant with dense buds you may need to look for another strain. The smell from these buds are strong and amazing. I would describe the smell as fruity glue with rubber. I am overall very pleased with how this grow went and I cant wait to grow some more!

Extremely surprised by the growth, I put it down to the right temperature & humidity levels as-well as the Canna Rhizotonic.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Was a bit worried about the Helmet head issue but she seems to have fully recovered and is absolutely thriving, didn't mention before but just light bio bizz mix used, water at pH 6.2 got it under 24h light at the moment

Opened them both up and trimmed up some lower branches and the likes. Defoliation aswell on some leaves. Flower stretch under way ! Still having issues with one not absorbing what she needs was advised to up the ph in autopot res to 5.8 6.0 ph so have done so to see if that helps ! All in all looking good

Day 58 : She is fattening her buds very much. CO2 stopped for all ladies. As you can see trichomes still are in cloudy period. So she needs couple weeks for sure. Edit (Day 62) : I watered again with nutrients. She is very stinky and is a heavy smelling lady. She has pine smells. It reminds you pine resin.

I've already cut a few buds this week, so that the effect is not too deadly and suitable for work

On day 1 the reservoirs PH is 6.3. The plants are starting to bulk up now. On day 2 I changed out the reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. On day 3 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 6.1. On day 4 the reservoir is holding at 6.1. My right plant experienced another run away so I reduced flow rate by one carrot can't quite get it right this run... The colas are really starting to fatten up 😀 On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.1. On day 6 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.4 to 6.2. On day 7 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 5.9 to 6.2.

It’s been a hell of a ride y’all but here we are, looks like she’ll be ready to chop come Monday or Tuesday depending when I have more time Haven’t gotten to much of a description of the flower yet so as for smell- she’s an absolute funky one almost makes you sick to the stomach like a garlic body odor but then a slightly sweet back to it. Based off the record she’s putting out so far I couldn’t be happier to try the smoke. As you can see even with all she’s been through (mainly a tough mag deficiency) the buds are still completely coated in a nice layer of frost same with all her healthy foliage. Will definitely be running some wax from her so I’ll update on that as well. Harvest pics coming soon until then happy growing y’all!!!
