Plants looking great. Final week, flushing with filtered water for 7- 10 days. Plants ripening nicely, very dense colas. I noticed a spider mite outbreak last week, it has spread from one plant to the a few others, not a bad infestation, today predator mites will be released onto every plant throughout flush. Predator mites have worked great in the past. **predator mites phytoselius have been applied, hopefully they can clear up the infestation before harvest. When the plants are cut down and hung to drt any remaining mites will crawl up the stem as the plant dries. I will wrap the stem in double sided sticky tape.

Sorry for the late weekly update. Took a quick family trip. 2 out of the 3 have been chopped and this one i was giving a couple more days before it's finished. The color and smell is wild on this strain. Almost a reddish purple in color. All in all Happy Growing.

-22.08.2024 The ninth week begins, the plants look really good and are getting frosty. Some leaves have been removed. I think there are still 2-3 weeks until harvest. -24.08.2024 Visual Control Soil felt dry, Both plants get watered with 1L Of water per plant. -27.08.2024 Visual Control Soil was dry, plants get 1L od wster per Plant.

Today on day 17 from date of birth Iam preparing a worm casting tea. In a cheese cloth bag ,Made up of 2 cups of worm castings 2 tablespoons of unsulfured molasses,2 tablespoons of mineralized phosphate (bat shit) ,2 tablespoons of soluble seaweed extract . 2 tablespoons of alfalfa meal 2 tablespoons of all purpose 4-4-4 all Gia green products other than. I also sprinkled in some great white premium mycorrhizae inton2 gallons of water. Tea will brew for 24 hours before applying.

Time to christen my brand new grow setup! I have only ever grown outdoors before (316g last year, for those wondering), so I’m excited about the possibilities of a controlled environment. I’ll be trying to tickle as much as I can out of this setup. First time doing a public diary too! I’ll be starting out with an easy (and cheap!) strain from my beloved RQS. But don’t you worry! I’ll be trying some different strains for sure, I’ve got my eye on some MSNL ones once I feel more confident. I started Germination with the good ol’ cup of water technique, my favourite since it’s easy and has never failed me. They all popped and were planted on the 5th. Wish me Luck!

Such a stunning little beauty! She's almost ready for harvest, just waiting for a few more trichome heads to turn amber; aiming for a ~20%'ish rate. Buds are looking massive and dense and are accompanied by some pretty frosty leaves. The smell has developed into a rather tart and herbal aroma with most of the citrussy scents gone by now. So excited! Can't wait to chop her up and taste these fascinating terps :D Hopefully she's gonna be all ready in a week! Decreased the amount of nutrients we're giving her a bit further by fertilizing only once this week with overall fewer nutrients.

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. 09/22/2022 had to harvest early because of but rot, powdery mildew, bud smells incredible, but I had root issues it had very weak root system, probably my fault for starting her so late in season. I will definitely try again in spring, I might get a couple joints off her but not much more. Again I will take the blame for I did not give her a fair chance.

The Plants recovered from topping last week and are now more or less on one level. I increased the light strength every day. Now at 40%.

Último día del año y último día de la semana 9 de las bebas. Está semana que entra sería la última de la white quizás llegando a fin de semana corte solo las puntas y dejé una semana más los bajos o en caso que le falte la esperaré una semana más (creo que es lo mejor) viene muy compacta y olorosa, resina no veo tanto como en blue moby que viene con menos producción pero que dejó en segundo y tercer lugar a las otras en producción de resina le quedan 2 semanas veremos cómo sigue evolucionando pero estoy fascinado. Moby dick viene atrasada pero avanzando de a poco espero que no quede estancada y me quedé flaca seguro se atraso por el estrés de que se cortó su punta principal hace un par de semanas pero bueno creo que vale la pena esperar a todas!! Desde lo personal les deseo que empiecen un año mejor al que paso y que les traiga más lindas experiencias con el cultivo y los más bellos cogollos, un avance hacia la legalización en dónde todavía se les prohíbe está hermosa planta, felices fiestas y próspero año nuevo! Hi everyone this week was okay it seems to have gotten a little bit unwell with the leaf rust I have treated it today though. like with the banana purple punch it was due to me not having my carbon filter with me at the time so I had higher humidity at night but that is all sorted now . Feeding with 400 PPM of the X pert nutrient line pH at 5.8 hopefully she will get better I can see it's stunted her a little bit. See what next week brings thank you for looking at the diary and remember it's 420 somewhere 🌱👍
