It's now the start of week 4, everything is pretty much the same, I decided not to LST this time around, instead I'll just defoliate as needed to allow better light penetration as she bushes out. went fishing yesterday and had some leftover minnows in my bucket that died off an left me with some nasty water so I'll mix it 50/50 with rain water and water my plant today, I usually water heavy once a week with one or two light waterings in between when the top soil starts to dry out.

The plants look really happy, with a rich and vibrant color. They are now growing taller more slowly, but the side branches are getting thicker. The buds are becoming really fat and are completely iced out with trichomes. The calyxes continue to swell, and more trichomes are visible, starting to turn slightly milky. Some of the white hairs are slowly turning brown. I estimate about 2-4 weeks until harvest. The scent is simply delicious, with a pleasant creamy berry aroma. The buds are also incredibly resinous, making your fingers sticky as soon as you touch them. The plants are only lightly defoliated, with dead leaves selectively removed and small shoots trimmed only at the bottom of the plant. The ladies are also extremely thirsty. Besides the regular fertilized watering, they also receive tap water from the bottom, which they usually absorb within a few minutes. I also made an extra video to better show the size of the buds, and using the flash at night highlights the trichomes even more.

Very pleased with my results! 🔥💪 trichs started turning amber sooner than anticipated, so i went ahead and gave her the chop. Very smelly and lots of trichomes. Didn't weigh or sample anything yet, ill be back with a weight update after drying ✌️ -update- final dry weight is 89g, and have it jarred up now with boveda 62% packs. Also got about 30g of sugar trim/larf ill use for butter. It may have gotten a bit too dry but i hear the humidity packs will help. Vaped a bowl to test and it was very sweet and floral tasting, and seemed pretty strong from the small tester out of a dynavap. Overall very happy with the outcome and with this strain. Last couple of weeks she's been affected by high tent temps, hence all her curled leaves 😓 She is also a big plant in her little 10L fabric pot. I've noticed fabric pots really do dry out faster than airpots. That is a good thing, but you have to watch her drying out too quickly also! I think she'd make a monster plant in a 20L or 40L airpot.😍

🌸 Week 7 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week has passed and flowering is now in full swing across all 6 phenos 👀🔥 The differences between the plants continue to grow, and it’s becoming easier to see which phenos have the potential to become real standouts by harvest time. 📈 Current observations: Pheno #1 and #6 have finally started to catch up and are now slowly building buds as well 🌸 Pheno #5 continues to dominate the tent and has stretched to an impressive 130 cm The flower development on Pheno #5 is especially promising, with some bud sites already suggesting the potential for 25 cm+ colas if everything continues as planned 🔥 Pheno #2 and #6 are being overshadowed by the larger phenos and are clearly falling behind in overall size and vigor The structural differences between the phenos are now more obvious than ever, with some focusing on height while others remain more compact and bushy 💡 Environment & setup: The grow has now reached its current limits in terms of space and lighting: Light fixture raised to its maximum height Light intensity increased to 80% Summer temperatures pushing the tent up to around 32°C ☀️ Relative humidity averaging around 67% Despite the higher temperatures, the plants are still pushing forward and stacking flowers nicely. Was a pretty smooth week for most the girls. Showing some steady growth. I topped all of the plants around day 12 other than the slurricane 7. Ph got a little high since the nutrient level was too low to buffer it at the beginning of the week. Slurricane 7 and sugar cane are the ones that took some damage. I think they will be ok though. I upped the nutrients to 1/4 tsp per gallon and the ph has held stable since then. Should be able to start some training the middle of next week and looks like we might be going 2 more weeks on veg before flipping them to flower depending on how this upcoming week goes. Guess you will have to show up next week to find out...

I've got my light at max height so I can't move it up any higher..trying to push the light over to the side as best I can 2/11: light defoliation and feeding... Coming along nicely!

End of course for this Persian Prince project! Unfortunately, he failed to cut short this flowering a few days in advance following the start of a pest attack. Our two beautiful ones would have certainly enjoyed crunching life with full roots for another week, but prudence forced us to cut a little prematurely. Never mind, our flowers have dried for 10 days and are now ready to begin their maturing period in a jar. Despite these conditions, which are very well known to them, our Persian Princes still present impressive characters: the buds are huge, covered with a thick layer of trichomes and very fragrant. In terms of flavors, cheesy dominates 🧀 the two phenos smell strongly of semi-roller/Emmental style hard cheese, definitely the dominant aroma, for one of our two plants it is the only aroma that I am capable of to raise. The other phenotype is more complex, on the salty-cheesy smell a fresher and tangy/lemony smell is superimposed, very pleasant and different from its sister and at the same time linked to it by its common dominant cheesy aroma. I cut my pot as well to allow more lower air circulation. There are 9 visible "tops" at the top of the canopy. And a couple more that are underneath. Day 32 and everything is looking good to me.
