Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

This plant is on the move just like last time. She looks impeccable and her canopy is about to become a super dense photosynthesis machine for her future buds. The tiniest signs of pre-flower starting so I gave both the Blackberry and LSD a tad of Tiger Bloom to ease them into pre-flower. My goal is to get night temps close to 65 to increase the potentiality of purples. I hope she keeps on doing her thang. She's a sexy beast. I tied her down on 9/14 when she hit 16 inches.

Very fun strain to grow. Easy to train and love to get big. We had 2 different expressions on the plants and both where very pleasing. Both plants grew vigorously and provided me with just over 3/4 pound of dry medicine!

Excited I got to run and test this genetic. Was very pleased with the result and would run it again. Very frosty, Dense nugs, and great fruity/gassy aromas. Great flavor, nice hybrid.

The plants have been on cruise control 🛳️ so far and they’re loving every second of it! Despite all of them being popped around the same time, I can see the purple lemonade finishing up much faster than the lsd-25’s. No deficiencies to my eyes, slowly plumping up day by day 🤘

It's been another easy week in the Fastbuds tent. I've spent most my energy preparing my outdoor grow space for a wild summer. At this point, there's not much I can do except water and watch my plants grow. I've added videos of other plants in relations to the mimosa cake just for visual aid. I also added a photo of my cheese auto.. it's still drying! With the Mimosa cake auto I've been taking fan leaves off slowly for weeks now. This is a very busy plant. She is also going to run later than I expected. She's on day 76 and I suspect 95 to 100 days to finish time. I'll have to keel feeding her bloom nutes for the next few weeks; her 3 gallon bucket ran out of nutrients already. Feeding schedule: water, feed, water, feed Step 1- I'll take an aeration stone and use it to remove the chlorine residual in the water... this only takes 8 - 12 hours depending on water temperature. (I'm a water treatment process operator, I have checked several times in the past with my own Cl2 meters). Step 2 - add Calmag Step 3- add bloom nutes Final step - pH the water accordingly (very important that this is final step) A TDS residual of 500 ppm equals roughly 1 E.C. (I just double it)

Its week 11, Harvest time!! .... or is it? Well, i can tell you - absolutely not. 💩 #3 is well into flower right now, but i dont think she's gonna come down for another 3 weeks. She's def. the furthest along though. I'll be using the thrichoscope end of this week i reckon. #2 and #1 are both just barely getting started in their flower, so they will probably run for another 5 or 6 weeks at least. i've got good hopes for plants 2 and 3, and also feel like the light-intensity experiment is really giving me some solid results. (the one with the least light is #3, whhich even started to flower much sooner than the other two, i feel like there is a link with the scarcity of light energy it receives. anyone here that would confirm or deny such an idea?)

So the plants survived without light in my garage for 2 days, thank goodness! FBP2 is the best plant by far. She had stacked lots of tight buds, orange pistils coming in nice. Nice bushy structure to her. Super happy with her progress. Royal Critical is doing great, progressed further than all the others so far, lots of orange pistils, curling inwards towards the buds, still white pistils too, so not ready obviously. Not as dense a structure as FBP2, but much better than FBP1 and FBP3, which you can see are way behind both the others. They're looking super straggly. Not sure that they'll improve much at this stage unfortunately. Still I'm pleased overall with this grow, as it's my first and I have learnt a lot about the necessity for LST, and genetics being different from plant to plant. Hopefully we'll be able to harvest the Royal Critical here soon, then FBP2. As for the other 2 plants, I guess I'll have to wait and see.

The buds are really packing in the weight and resins. There so heavy the head buds are starting to drop. Switched to overdrive and cut all other nutes in half. They are holding up well. No stress signs at all. It's looking like they want a few more weeks of flowering. I'm watching them and listening to the signs they show.Everything is going great. Can't wait to taste these lovely ladies.

This week a few different things happened . 1. After I flushed to remedy all purple stems Runtz & Zkittlez developed deformed leaf sets. The runts leaf set didn’t form on 1 side of the vein. The Zkittlez formed leaf sets with a missing finger . Instead of the being 5 fingers on the 3rd set there were 4 fingers . 2. Day #10 plants looked really sad & droopy the leaves of my plants where pointing downward & the 1st set of serrated leaves began to yellow . 3. To rectify the “super soil” dropping the PH of the water I fed the girls I purchased some PH UP & experimented with a few cups of my soil & found if I put in water at 9.5PH the “Super Soil” balanced out at 6.5 . My tap water PH is about 7.5 with a 200ppm (yes , yes, I know , tell me about it) if I put regular tap water in my soil drops it to a 5.1 -5.3 which led to the purple stems in the 1st week. Granted I’m kinda working backwards to work with what I have in order to utilize my investments it’s a means to an end I suppose BUT I AM OPEN TO SENSIBLE THOUGHT OUT ADVICE THANKS. 4. Day #11 I transplanted all the girls into full strength super soil . If I hadn’t had to flush i could have held out another week tops in my solo cups . I could have gotten to atleast the 6th maybe 7th node before transplanting into full strength soil. Currently I’m at the 4th node & noticing slight canoeing of the leaves . This is my first grow in this “supersoil” also my 1st time mixing my own amendments to make said “supersoil” so for the time being I’ll just keep an eye on it & hope the plant establishes quickly enough to be able to consume the quantities of nutrients in this soil THUS my generous generous use of Mykos . Today makes 2 weeks for Runtz & #1 GDP the the remaining 4 are at day #13. I’m still hoping by day 16 I can start LST’ing . All but 1 or 2 of the girls have began growing secondary shoots along the nodes so I’m getting more an more excited . I’m just envisioning the plants I want to have until it comes to fruition. I am by no means an expert I’m not even a reasonably decent grower . Out of the 3 runs I’ve done so far only one produced smokable poor quality buds . Each time spawning more research & a tweak to the setup . THIS TIME I AM CALM COOL & COLLECTED as I’ve ever been & have my eyes set on a lofty yield of high quality buds I’m aiming to get a QP p/plant but honestly I want to push them to get a HP p/plant . Which sounds like I’m in Narnia NeverLand with such high expectations .. I think about the fact that it is no longer necessary to cut leaves. I cut it a lot, but I notice that many people cut a bunch of leaves at one time, although somewhere I read no more than 10% at a time.
