Evening all...back on it AGAIN!!!! Worst is, in the middle of a heat wave (Hottest day every recorded in this part of the world a couple of days in a row!!!)...still need to finish trimming my last crop!!! :'( Will get that done over the next couple of days as these girls need rehoused!!! So, got a cloner at the start of the year...was planning on clone a spare wedding cake I had but that sort of went to pot and life got in the way and that didn't happen. As I also got a hold of an Ultrasonic Mist Generator, I thought I'd give this "Fogponics" Germination thing a go!!! Seeing as @Sweet_Seeds donated a few Magical Beans to my cause, I thought I'd give their genetics a whirl. The Red Hot cookies looked too cool to pass up on!!! So, got the beans popped on the 12th of July and by the Thursday, they were showing their wee heads. One though was also showing its wee tail - I hadn't buried it enough and it popped itself out of the Jiffy Coir plug I started them in. I did get it reburied and it has started growing but you can see its the runt in the pic...intend on keeping this one as a cloner (And will give the cloning a fair whack this time!!!). Since I was worried that the one that popped the soil was going to be impacted, I dropped a 3rd bean and true to form, it was out of the root riot in 4 days also. Got them into the 'fogponics' machine and let them rip (Under 2x11W T5 Sunblaster 6400/k's and a Amazon Special LED light for extra Spectrum) and they seem to be coming on grand. Noticed some yellow spots on the leaves and in 2 minds if it was: A. calcium (As starter plugs are Coir and I didn't put calmag in the plug hydration mix - Jiffy Original plugs are supposed to be buffered for this!!!); B. if I should have broken and washed them out of the Coir and put them into straight Hydroton (The fog could have been saturating the Coir and choking the internal roots a bit) or C. if its just the abusive heat we've been having here (In a country where A/C is basically unheard off as heat doesn't exist outside!!! 😋). Roots are ripping out of the net pots now so they're about as ready for transplant as can be...just wanna give a day or 2 more to see if the heat here settles as I can't adequately cool the area they're going too - but then again, under LED so heat may be good as it doesn't heat the leaf surface up as much! Plus I have a couple of plants to trim...still hanging in their humidor tent when is needed again for growing! Think this will also be the retirement party for the Wilma. Going to build an Undercurrent Fallponics system when this run is done (Wont have time to get it setup before these girls need forever homes!!!). Have the crates bought and a bit of research done on how to DIY a build so hopefully this turns out to be a decent run. Also have a few people with building experience on hand to give advice. Since last grow: Lights have been upgraded to a Geekbeast 630W Pro LED (3500K Spectrum - UV 385nm and Far Red 730nm built in [won't use the 730's as they can't be run independent of the Main Lights...be wary of this if you buy one off Alibaba for the 730's built in!!!] - Will run the 385UV's though throughout the grow for more blue...will run then 3 hours after lights on to until 3hours before lights off). Also procured an InvisibleSun LED 730nm Flower Initiator (Will use this for EOD Far Red treatment to try a 13/11 flower cycle) and a Migro UVB310 fixture - For the Trikes!!! 😝. Have a Haliea 300A winging its way to me as we speak. Have some Non-Stick Micro-tips flying in from the Grand old US of A a will to get a better, more consistent yield. Okay growmies here we are at the end of our PURPLE LEMONADE by FAST BUDS. It was such a pleasure to grow, i learned so so so much this run that will help me through the rest of my adventures. The beginning was tough as i am new i over watered and did not ph the water and what i mistake. But its okay i learned. She bounced back like nothing and produced these HUGE, THICK, DENSE BUDS!i remember the panic i had week 2-3 and wanted to scrap all of this and start over.... thank the weed gods i didnt because look at this masterpiece. I always said in the passed weeks comments i hope my ugly duckling becomes a beautiful queen. And here she is. She was SOOO HUNGRY AND THIRSTY! Over 5L a day guys..... and not a SINGLE drop would come out of the bottom.... over a all a pleasure and amazing grow. I will for sure grow again and again. I would love to Try this out door or in a 10L pot can probably get this beast to be the size of a 5x5 easily! She responded so well to LST and topping... slowed it down but it was so worth it guys lmao.... like honestly OVER HALF A POUND!!!!!! GROWMIES! I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU ALL SO SO MUCH! The reason why I planted 3 seeds right away is because the runtz is a very interesting variety (Skittlez x Gelato) 😍. And I will take cuttings from all of them, ubd hope to have a beautiful mother 🙏🏻🌱. The seed was planted in Canna Bio. Pleasure to grow. Low maintenance in super soil setup in 5 gal cloth pot. Stayed small and compact but frosted up early and heavily. No deficiencies, steady growth, no training needed. Even minimal LST (which I did not do), would surely increase yield but I was more focused on quality and letting it do its thing. Genetically, it was determined to grow a perfect little canopy while not taking up much space, about as low maintenance as you can get on a plant imo. Running autos is still a limited thing for me, I like the idea of having keeper clones of photos as this is all for personal medical use, but this plant was fun to grow, true to form and stable as heck. I have a few seeds left and I’ll definitely save them for an outdoor run down the line

Weened off the veg nutes completely. I'm pretty much done messing with the scrog from here as well. From here on it's monitoring the plant health until flush and that's it.

9/6 - Looks like 6 of 6 germinated. They are now in the nursery. Going in the Organic direction with this grow. First time trying it but i like the fact that you can have a "living soil", reuse the soil, and a big thing thing for me is that you don't have to flush like you probably should if you use salt based synthetic nutrients. My 2 cents. 9/14 - progressing nicely. Installed a better light source for them.

Due that i used the VPD Chart, I had 30 days of veg on this Autoflower plant. Now the plant started preflowering and started it's stretch. The plant responded very well after being topped, which i was very happy with. As this was my first ever topped Autoflower. I always tweak the LST everyday depending on how its growing. My main goal is maximum yield with multiple colas, using organic and vegan nutes. The plant looks very healty and 0 deficiencys till now 💪 This week i started adding bloom nutes to help her with the flip.

The girls are recovering well.. They certainly haven't given up! So they have a lot to give on the next few remaining weeks, flowers daily increase their volume.. 🙌🏻📊

So, guys.. This is her first month blooming. 4 complete weeks has passed. Here we are for 2 more. Gave Her a super powerful egg shell fert (all powdered - Phosforium Whelthy.) 07/10/20 - We are in the middle of week 5. Thats the way they look like. For me a good number of buds and they are as dense as I thought they would be by this time. I think everything is under control despite some foxtails cuz the heat. Loving the experience.

Week 3 Flower (Bloom Week 3) – Daily Tasks Evening (Lights On) Check environment (temp 24–27°C, RH 55–60%). Inspect leaves and buds for pests, mold, or deficiencies. Water/feed (depending on medium): balanced bloom nutrients with slightly higher P and K. Ensure good airflow (oscillating fans). Adjust plant training (light defoliation if leaves block bud sites). Check for early signs of stretch finishing. Evening (Before Lights Off) Ensure irrigation is not too late in the cycle to avoid wet medium during dark period. 👉 In Week 3 bloom, the plants are finishing their stretch and starting to put more energy into forming bud sites. Main job is: Setting Scrog net 2layers ,Control environment (VPD, airflow) ,Support the plant with bloom nutrients.
