Started the week out with a mini flush and nutrient change. Fed the clones that are in the coco coir and they are thickening up well and producing solid buds. This might become an every grow thing, its looking like it will produce a good amount of bud for being a 12/12 clone.

WEEK 4 (Day 22-28) These Runtz are growing really well. I'm thrilled with this Barneys genetics. I applied two different topping techniques to my two plants. The larger plant was topped once after four nodes to create eight main shoots, while the second plant was topped at the second node to create four shoots and then topped again to reach eight. That's it for cutting now. I think the plants are handling it very well and will continue to thrive beautifully.

Before upgrades

Cooling off at night, lots of dew, but being underneath my big Cherry Tree provides some relief. Did a big defoliation to help with airflow, removed quite a few inner branches that weren't keeping up with the canopy, but overall happy with the shape and structure, will probably just ride the rest out as it. Just water this week, spray of LCPT and a spray of BT for caterpillars. Will alternated LCPT / BT ever 3-4 days. Flowering is looking great, very aggressive TONS of pistils, trichomes developing as well, going to be 6 weeks at least, if the weather can hold out that long that is!

Week 8 / Flower Week 2 The middle plant is clearly shorter than the other two, but after measuring PPFD this turned out to be no issue. Plant heights were left 59 / middle 40 / right 55 cm with lamp distances of 32 / 55 / 34 cm. The strongest light is in the center, and despite the height differences the average light distribution is very even. PPFD averages were around left ~400 / middle ~415 / right ~380, and after I raised 2 levels up to ~500 / ~525 / ~545 µmol/m²/s Stretch is slowing down and the plants are clearly moving into early flower. During the week I removed yellow and dead leaves and started lollipopping. The lower third was cleaned up and the left plant was lollipopped a bit more. The other plants will be cleaned up further over the next days I think, step by step. I also raised the middle plant slightly at one point to get it closer to the light and improve airflow, which helped after cleaning up the lower part. Watering and feeding followed the HESI schedule. The plants were watered three times this week: At the start of the week, about 10 L with nutrients. Mid-week, roughly 7 L of pH-adjusted water only. On the day of writing this report, end of the week, they were watered again with nutrients at half strength .pH around 6.0-6.5. Yellow sticky traps were added as a preventive measure. Overall I’m happy with how this week went. Everything feels well set up and I’m curious to see how the left plant responds to the more intense lollipopping, since this is the first time I’ve gone this far. Week 7: Two days post flip to an 11 on and 13 off light schedule and she is already showing pistols. She is loaded with bud sites and had zero issues bringing her into flower. I added a trellis net to the tent to help even her keep and even canopy. 8-9 week flower time so the next two months should be fun.

She looks very healthy and beautiful. It was raining two days ago, so I decided to pour her some of that rain. As I said above, all I use is water and I give her light 24/7.

Auto cinderella jack - Amazing week of growth. There are new nodes exploding from everywhere and its not showing signs of slowing down. They are currently loving the organic nutes and have started showing signs of flowering. Auto critical cheese - this plant has shot up recently. It was planted a week later that the ACJ but is growing some seriously fat fan leaves. Should be a nice yeilder. Peanut butter cookies - this girl is looking pretty sorry for herself. I am intentionally trying to keep her as small as possible so that I can get the autos out before flipping into flower but she is gonna be a beast. Will transplant into a final pot in the next day or so.

Take it from my friend grower, their roots are most ggood but some plants just start to making roots... I have big problem at nutrient burn this time.

So week 8 was definitely a trying one. I was coming off of not only being behind on food from a couple weeks back, but also having a soil pH problem at same time. So I fed them a couple weeks back, found the pH issue and flushed with proper pH water. However, some of the damage and deficiency signs were still hanging around. I decided to give them each a top dressing of 6 tbsp's of 2-8-4 power bloom, in case I washed a lot out during the flush. At the same time, continuing to water at a lower pH of 6.0-6.5 to encourage my soil to go back to an optimal level. On the soil pH tester they are all sitting from 6.6-6.8 pH currently. Which was a lot better than the 7+ I found during the issue. These girls are growing big and are constantly hungry for water and nutrients. The amount of leaves on this strain was quite impressive. On that note, I had to do a lot of defoliation at the end of week 8. Hoping to encourage longer bigger colas and allowing light to penetrate to lower canopy. Plan is to keep watering when dry, adjust LST as the weeks go along, and defoliate where necessary. I do apologize to Dutch Passion, as I feel I've done them a disservice with my issues this time around. So if the result of this strain from me is sub par, it would not be the strain at this point. But I will continue to do my best to make a good result!👊 Happy growing! P.S. forgot I named them to track their health. Big Red, Stubby and Corona Virus. Big Red is largest but has red stems and leaf discoloration. Corona Virus is like Big Red but more leaf issues and Stubby is shortest one but by far healthiest so far.
