Very excited to start a new grow!! 21/11/2023: Placed the seed in a wet paper towel inside a zip lock bag and put it on the inside of the cabinet. Whilst this is germinating I can setup and clean my tent and get the substrate ready. This will be my first time using Biotabs nutrients and also the first time I won't be using the hydroponic DWC method. Hoping for yet another great grow and tasty end result! 25/11/2023: Transfered seedling to coco medium which I prepared with Bio Tabs nutrients. Soaked the medium with Orgatrex and Bactrex disolved in tap water. Set the light schedule to 18/6 27/11/2023: Added some more water with nutrients because the medium felt dry. Might have overwatered a bit since a lot of water ended up in the bottom tray. I'll let it dry out a bit the next days before adding water again.

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. Plants keep growing very well, stopped to stretch and already start showing pistils. This in only 14 days of flowering. That shows how fast you can grow using clones instead of starting from seeds, infact clones have same age of mother plants from wich are taken, that have already reached sexual maturity by far and so they are much more ready to flower unlike plants bornt from seed.

📝 Summary of previous week: This week, the girls continued progressing well into the flowering stage. They’ve clearly stretching as expected during this phase. i watering them with 1.5L per plant, with one session including 1ml of Canna Terra Vega, 1ml of Plagron Alga Bloom, and 0.5ml of Mycochum from Plant Success. Two follow-up waterings were done with plain water only. There were some signs of yellowing and deficiencies in the leaves, likely due to an imbalance in the soil — possibly linked to the original hot soil mix. In response, light dimming was slightly reduced to 95%, and a plan was put in place to alternate between nutrient and plain water feedings. pH adjustments are also being considered. End of cultivation of a landrace, probably Manga Rosa, due to the smell and flavor, in addition to other characteristics (sativa, long-flowering, style of flowers). 3.7 liters (1 gallon) = 58 grams / 2.04 oz (flowers without branches) Using 120w lm301h-evo, together with another plant in the same environment. Last week just water, two small flushes, to clean the soil a little, but nothing excessive. 7 days drying, dark, well-ventilated environment, without direct wind. And now cure for at least a month, trying a little each week. I killed her when she was 93 days old, with 12 hours of light from the beginning, it seemed automatic. Because she is almost or completely sativa, perhaps another 2 weeks could be good for her, but I wanted a cultivation period of around 3 months, which was cool, but I believe that for a 90-day cultivation period, it is better to use some hybrid or indicates, as they develop faster. Sativas are aggressive in their expansionism and slow in flowering. Leaves and branches saved for later extraction, probably ice hash.

On Day 15 we checked on the ladies and seemed to respond very well to their first feeding of nutrients. When I to check on the on Day 16 the ladies seemed thirsty so they where given 250 ml of water with a 6.0 ph along with a misting, the plants then received another feeding on Day 18 but this time we went up on the nutrients slightly, I then again watered them on Day 20 and they were given the normal 250 ml of water with a 6.0 ph along with a misting. I did notice that the AK-49 strain is a lot smaller than the last time I grew it at this stage of life. Which I thought was weird so I started seeing what was different. I've come to the conclusion that it's how many plants are in the grow space using the light, meaning I need more light for this many plants. I also think that AK-49 #1 & #4 could have been overwatered which goes to show that every plant no matter the strain can have different needs.
