~ Day 71 Update ~ Hello everyone! Hola! I’m Meus and this is my 10th weekly update for “First Mainline Attempt!”. I’d like to welcome new & veteran growers, Thanks for taking the time to stop by :) ~ Progress ~ You know, I’m astounded by the level of growth in this past week, my mind is blown! 5" of growth compared to the avg of 1" for the past few weeks (9,8,7, etc), just wow 😱. The smell is pungent, dank, and slightly sweet. I can only dream of what these girls will skunk out, soon, very soon... I’d like to flower now but I have a few small issues. First: I wanted to stop at 8 toppings but I need clones of the others so everyone gets topped to keep an even canopy. Of course I’m not taking 8 clones each 😏, just 2-3 of each strain (5 strains, 6 plants; 2 phenotypes) to put in my 2nd tent till these girls (mainlined beasts) are harvested. This is ambitious though I’m optimistic that this will work out 🙏 Second: Related to the first issue I’m going to need a trellis net to support these girls with their 16 tops. Thing is, all my plant have varying flowering schedules (55 to 70+ days). I’ll need to make a net set up that I can cut out each plant individually as they’re ready to harvest. Third: MOLD! Though it’s not a lot I do have a bit of mold developing at the bottom of the fabric pots (which are known to mold). I’m going to switch to Superoots Air-Pot so I can avoid the mold. They’re $10+ a pop so I might have to wait till my next grow to afford the amount I need to make a full switch. Depending on how things go I’ll start flowering at week 13. Now concerning the mold I found a few ways to deal with my problem without harming or altering taste of these young ladies. This will be a tough 11 - 14 weeks, I’ll keep ya updated fam! ~ Individual progress notes ~ (will post full information soon, update delayed for personal reasons) [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 14" Tops: 8 Notes: 14 inches... That's quite a climb :) Though she's stretchy like her sister I'm excited, can't wait to see the development in the next few weeks of veg 😊 [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 13.2" Tops: 8 Notes: I'm surprised at the uniformity of these two sisters, I'm going to veg a bit longer and get me some clones just in case ;) [CBD Blueberry] Height: 9.8" Tops: 8 Notes: I thought this girl was a goner, definitely didn't respond to the mainline well like the others, wonder why? 😶 Still I'm impressed that my smallest plant is filling in, though she looks weird I still love her and her minions <3 [White Widow] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: Well... This was one of my smallest girls, she's by far the bushiest and most filled in. For an example look at her root mass, one word, insane! Roots are spreading everywhere, so aggressive and the trunk is huge, perfect for transporting all those nutes. Tanya here recovered from a split too, awesome :) [Mazar] Height: 13.8 Tops: 8 Notes: Taller but just as dense as the white widow, the Mazar has potential! A beautiful, healthy canopy, one of my best girls. It's a good feeling knowing that my hard work is paying off 😭 I'm afraid of topping this one because she is so dense that 16 tops will be off the hook, better make a plan soon 🙏 [Super Silver Haze] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: I’m starting to get impatient, I love this strain! Well, most strains developed by Arjan are great <3 I will need to feed soon with diluted nutes, she looks hungry a bit. Other than that she’s a healthy young lady that’s ready to flower :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ Where to start... I’m excited! Getting my clones are my top priority right now, then I'll focus on canopy support. I’ve come a long way from my first grow, even though I failed I learned a lot. Those lessons are keeping me on my toes and I’m learning more everyday. Thank you to those who have been influential to my success, much love! I can honestly say Grow Diaries is the best! Big defoliation and lollipopping on day 18 flower. Now push Back und bulking Phase after. LO got a little stem split due to too heavy LST... Could fix it with wire and tape. Trichome developement starts now and the smell in the tent ist getting stronger. LO already with a nice citrusy and sweet aroma. Lights 100% Temp 25/20 Celsius RH 53-58 % VPD 1.1 - 1.4

AlienZ Automatic - Greenhouse Seed Co. Day 95 🚿 She was watered with 3L of just plain RO tap water, pH'd to 6.3, twice this week and has been left to dry back for the last five days 👍🏻 ✂️ To prepare her for harvest, she had the majority of her fan leaves and larger sugar leaves removed at the start of the week, this also allowed for more light to reach areas of the bud that had been shaded. For harvest, I performed a wet trim, to ensure she had as little foliage as possible on her, removing as many leaves and stems from her as possible, to prevent any moisture buildup during her dry 🙏🏻 🌸 Her bud is fully mature now, most of her pistils have turned amber with just new growth exhibiting white pistils. All of her trichomes have either turned milky or amber, with about 15% being amber 👌🏻. Her smell has also changed a bit and is now heavy on the citrus/grapefruit with undertones of floral/earthiness - very pleasant 🌸 ♈ She will now be dried in a dark cool room (at ~20 degrees celsius with ~60% humidity) for about 8 days before she is move into glass jar for her cure, which will last for at least a month before she is used 🤞🏻

She’s bulking up and smelling up the tent! She’s definitely the first thing you smell. Couple of weeks left. I’ll just be flushing from here.

I dont now if ... The last 3-4 week of have do a very light feeding ... I see Yellow in top of the plant .... I have wrong so much do ... In bloom fase ... I think the First week of Bloom the root deat for so much H2O2 ...and the root grow again to the top of the plant ... Is not good ... I have use h2o2 for Paint to pytium... Only now at 1 month ti finish plant grow bud

Stretch is fully finished and the plant has settled perfectly into the SCROG net. The canopy is even and well structured, with branches firmly positioned and no further vertical growth. Flower sites are developing nicely across the canopy and bud formation is clearly underway. Overall vigor remains strong, leaf posture is healthy, and color looks consistent with no visible deficiencies or stress. Training is now minimal — the SCROG structure is locked in, with only minor adjustments to maintain airflow and light penetration below the canopy. Feeding continues with the Athena Blended Line (Bloom A & B, Balance, CaMg, Cleanse), with PK supplementation active from Flower Week 3 onward to support bud development and early flower stacking. Everything looks stable and well managed as the plant moves deeper into the flowering phase.

Well, she's starting to pull through. She's a little slow, but i'm not holding it against her because she has had a very rough start... She is a seed from a friend. So I will do everything in my power to help her be the best she can be .. i've always heard great things about in house genetics so needless to say, very excited about this.. 12/12 since second week

I started germination of 1 Gorilla Zkittlez bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get this lady situated into her home. Cant wait! Some Background information on my experience with Gorilla Zkittlez. I've grown this variety out twice so far. Once in a 15 gallon container which became a super branchy beast. That yielded a large amount and filled up it's own 4x4 tent with a little training. The second and most recent time was in a 1 gallon SOG grow. She also flourished in a fast flip SOG grow banging off a fat head frosty main cola, with a few satellite buds. Very adaptive strain and seems to flourish in any environment and any size space. Looking forward too my 3rd adventure with Barneys farms masterpiece.

Hello everyone week 8 of flower has passed for this Mint Jelly auto ❄️ She’s ready ! For the feeding schedule i stopped feeding Power Roots and Pure Zym and started feeding Green Sensation 0,5/l Mars hydro FC-E6500 75% have a great day and wish you all happy growing 😎

Start of week Height = 50cm She has reached a total height of 50cm so far and have grown almost 20 cm in a week, her flowers are starting to grow all over, she really enjoys being under the Qboard. 13/02-2024 - Day 43 - Watered 2.8L 15/02-2024 - Day 45 - She is really growing and has reached 55 cm height, her flowers are starting to gain size aswell. 17/02-2024 - Day 47 - Watered 2,1L, my baby has reached 57 cm and damned she has ALOT of buds im really excited about this cutie 😍 19/02-2024 - Day 49 - End of week I had considered trying out defoliation on her, as i think she has grown very bushy and might spend energy on branches that wont produce any good yeild. i reconsidered due to the advices i got from my question. i will continue without defoliation and keep gently bending fanleaves so they dont block light. She has been growing a lil less taller this week than the previous, but her buds are starting to look nice, and they are ALL OVER her 😍 the first trichs are appearing. Height = 61cm

All 3 strains in the tent came out just incredibly nice but i'm glad i picked the gorilla zkittlez for the diary as i doubt i'll be seeing trichs like this again anytime soon. The pictures do a fairly good job ( p.s. just got the S10 and wow it takes nice pics even compared to the S9) but in person the trichs are so long its almost surreal. like it looks furrry and soft and fluffy. I hope she smokes as hard as she looks cause she looks like she gonna be putting me in a damn coma. The smell is very nice as well. Slightly sweet but still that strong strong dank smell. I CAN NOT WAIT TO SMOKE THESE LADIES!!! 😍😍😍 I've noticed some people are following along, I hope you enjoyed the run and I look forward to posting the harvest. Whats your guess for the zkittlez? of the 6 plants in the tent 2 are the GZ. my guess.........hmmmmm........350-400 grams The flowers on all the plants are DENSE. No fluff this time around so im thinking this should be a healthy harvest indeed!!! Shout out to amazing genetics from Barneys as well. those guys kill it! Started to flush yesterday. I think they will be done in 2-3 days. lastly, whatever those sap bubble things are, they werent eggs and are still a mystery lol

Der Sour Jealousy von FastBuds geht es ganz gut 👍. In Hydroponic dauert es am Anfang immer ein wenig länger bis die Pflanze richtig durchstartet.. Ich denke mal in 2 Wochen fängt es dann richtig an. DLI liegt bei 16.92 ( 20 h Licht bei 235 PPFD). Heute wechsle ich das 1. Mal Wasser und gebe additiv Silicate von Terra Aquatica hinzu. Die ersten Tage hatte ich Schwankungen im PH Wert,ich denke weil der EC Wert so niedrig ist und weil die Blähton Kugeln auch erstmal den angestrebten Ph Wert annehmen müssen. Die Pflanze bekommt hier und da gelegentlich Streicheleinheiten von dem Mini Ventilator damit sie kräftiger wird
