Defoliating a little each week

6/17/24 she's winding down to the end(still a couple weeks) she's throwing out purple on the fan leaves. Thinking she may fade out nicely. 6/21 seeing some yellowing on the purple fading. Niiiice 👍

Greetings fellow growers 🖖 and welcome to my first grow ever. This adventure actually started several months ago when I decided to stop buying flower from dispensaries and just grow my own bud. How hard can it be!? This is actually my second seed of this strain. The first bean sadly died due to over watering (sorry girl, RIP). I was literally watering the cube to the point where water was dripping from the bottom, then heavily sprayed the humidity dome and tray with the vents completely closed. Everyday. Multiple times. I never let the dome or try dry out. So after about 8 days of not sprouting, there was a funky smell of rot. So that was that. Later I learned that rockwool retains a lot of water and can easily drown seeds. So a wet/dry cycle is best for rockwool germination. So even after hours of researching and digging through forums and tutorial videos, I was still under prepared for this journey. Did not consider how delicate the germination phase is. Oh well. Lesson learned. Reset and try again! I hope everyone is safe and stoned during this corona crisis. Just like everyone else in the world, I want this pandemic to be over with. But in the meantime, let's grow some weed! 🖖 [START OF WEEK 01] Day 01 - Monday - 08/03/20 - Total Days: 001 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Light Schedule: 24Hrs/0 --- Soaked cube in 5.5 PH water for 10 min. Did not shake water out. --- NO NUTES! Only PH'd down to control the PH levels. --- Did not use the default hole (way too deep). --- Flipped cube upside down and made a shallow hole for the seed (less than 0.25" deep). --- Placed seed in and pinched hole close. No additional water added. --- Sprayed the tray and dome with straight water (5.5 PH). --- Vents are cracked opened a for ventilation (about 1/4 opened each). --- Distance between the light and tray was 53" --- AC was set to 80 °F --- Exhaust fan was set to 86 °F --- Room average temp was at 85 °F --- Dome humidity was at 85-99% when sprayed. --- Allowing to completely dry before respraying. - [2200]: Dome and tray were completely dry! Sprayed only tray and dome with more water. Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/04/20 - Total Days: 002 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Sprayed dome and tray in the morning. Everything was dry. --- Hoping for the best! - [2130]: Everything was dry again, so sprayed dome and tray at night along with a light spray on the cube. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/05/20 - Total Days: 003 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Everything was dry again. Resprayed dome and tray. Slightly sprayed cube. - [2125]: Hooo damn!! She popped! Am little stub is visible! Resprayed dome and tray again. --- Still going 24/0 for lights. - [+0033]: Just checked up on her and I swear she grew a bit taller! Getting excited! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/06/20 - Total Days: 004 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Wow! Went from a little stub to fully sprouted overnight! Everything was pretty dry again so resprayed dome and tray. - [2200]: Tap root is visible! Over 1" long too! Just resprayed dome and tray again. -- Going to prep for hydroton transplant tomorrow! Day 05 - Friday - 08/07/20 - Total Days: 005 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: She keeps growing! -- Added a bit of CalMag to the spray bottle (8 drops to 650ml of distilled water). Resprayed dome and tray. Water was at a 5.4 PH with 141 PPM. - [1045]: Prepped the bubble bucket with 4.5gal of water. Water is high enough to reach about 0.25" above the bottom of the net pot. --- Added 3 drops of Superthrive --- Added 3.5ml of CaliMagic --- Added 2ml Hydroguard --- Then PH'd down to 5.6 --- Solution Strengh: 120 PPM --- Water chiller is set to 20 °C - [1100]: Transplant time! --- Filled the net basket 1/3 with hydroton. When placed in the bucket, air bubbles are not visible, but are slightly below the surface (slight digging will reveal the water/bubbles below). --- Removed plastic on rockwool cube and placed in basket, then filled around and covered with hydroton. Making sure to block any light from passing through the net pot and into the nutrient solution. --- Covered with a half-bottle dome sprayed with the CalMag water from earlier. --- Hoping for the best! - [1300]: Raised Bucket 5" higher. Now light distance is 48" to top of bucket. - [1820]: Lowered tent exhaust temp to 76 °F --- Lowered AC to 75 °F --- Raised bucket even higher so light distance is 30" to top of bucket. - [2300]: Looking good! --- Sprayed dome and surrounding hydroton with more CalMag water. --- Attached timer to light! So new 18 Hrs On/6 Hrs Off light schedule. --- Lights On: [1600] (4pm) --- Lights Off: [+1000] (10am the next day) --- Decided to go with lights on during the evening/night and off during the later mornings/afternoon (the hottest part of the day) to see if temps can be controlled better. --- Please survive girl! Day 06 - Saturday - 08/08/20 - Total Days: 006 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Everything was dry. Resprayed hydroton and dome. - [2000]: Here first night cycle seemed to go well! Get'n taller! --- Dry again. Removed the dome. --- PH went up to 6.5 so PH'd down to 5.7 --- Ran the top feed drip ring for a bout a minute to wet the hydroton and rockwool with the nutient solution. ---Too scared to leave the top feed on 24hrs (I don't want over water her and cause dampening-off). Will let dry before re-watering. - [2100]: After closer inspection, I think she's looking a bit yellow. --- Decided to add a bit of grow nutes to the bubbler solution. --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 176 PPM --- PH went up to 6 --- I hope that the extra chelating properties of the 'PH Perfect' solution is enough of a buffer for proper nutrient uptake. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/09/20 - Total Days: 007 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Water dropped a bit (mostly due to evaporation) so solution strength was at 190. --- Checked PH again. Was still at 6, so PH'd down to 5.4 --- Ran the top feed for a minute to wet the hydroton a bit. - [0915]: Since she's looking perky but still a bit yellow. So decided to up the nutrient concentration even more before lights out. --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 199 PPM --- PH went up to 5.8 - [1700]: Checked nutrients. --- PH: 5.9 --- Solution strength: 202 PPM --- Added 4ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- PH after adding more nutes: 5.9 --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 238 PPM - [2130]: Decided to make a new foliar spray to address the continued yellowing. --- Started with 500ml of distilled water. --- Added 3 drops of CaliMagic --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow A --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow B --- Added 3 drops of B-52 --- Added 1 drop of Superthrive --- Solution strength: 164 PPM --- PH was at 5.9 and did not adjust. --- Gave her one spray. --- Also sprayed the surrounding hydroton. [END OF WEEK 01]

Growth exploded once I dialed in the water intake of the girls. - Darkside cookies is a monster sprouted quick and has taken off growing to 4” in week two since potting. There are some yellow blemishes not really even spots I think my lights were to low (raised them so will update on progress next week.) She should be ready to top in 2- 4 day thinking about manifolding her as well she seems strong and resilient! - Nebula punch my little shorty at 2”. Her nodes are so tight they’re almost touching (blessings later on in flowering; although moisture control will be paramount on her!) She’s symmetrical with a deep green luster. - Blue Bourbon Smash is at 2.2” and seems to be the quaint even keeled middle child. She doesn’t seem to mind the watering conditions as much as the other two did as I understand watered for about 3-4 days and she was still progressing while the others looked noticeably lacking in something needed. I will top/manifold Darkside cookies and maybe Blue Bourbon Smash! Also a trellis is in the pipeline for helping maximize that structure on Nebula! * If anyone has any thoughts on the yellow blems on Darkside I would appreciate it want to catch it early if it’s not light burn *

Dia 134 y semana 6 de floración,ultimo dia de vida de las plantas. Este año ha sido un poco raro las plantas han crecido como monstruos tuvieron un crecimiento espectacular un tallo muy grande y junto con sus ramas flexibles y muy resistentes. Pero al llegar el engorde de floración no se porque les falto el empujon final para hinchar el cogollo, tiene muy buena pinta , mucha resina y muy fuerte buen olor pero me esperaba mas en la fase final. Cortamos ya que tambien habian orugas y no terminaba de eliminarlas por completo, la semana que viene era entera de lluvias así que decidi cortar un poco mas temprano para poder prevenir cualquier mal mayor, hay mucha gente que le gusta cortar antes de tiempo ya que el efecto es muy diferente, este año probaremos que tal.

week 8.was a strong wind with rain and it was bot good for ksd auto(now its okey pls write if you recommend me what a nutrient to give for strong plant ?.i mean buds coming to get big and plant must hold it)

It's hot as hell right now, so she's back to drinking every 24 hours. Just fed her with FOOP for the last time (Friday). Will only give her water for the rest of her grow time. She's looking almost fully cooked. Will likely check her trichs on Sunday and start to consider a timeline for chopping. No pest issues at all. Smell is absolutely divine.

Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time. Note that if you purchase this beasty light you should get S-HOOKS from Amazon or wherever for the tallest hanging option. We are on our way. my 10ml dosing syringes just came in as well as my pH calibration kit. I am running a hybrid philosophy when it comes to Medium and feeding. 70/30 Coco/perlite with the following added in for a "living coco" environment: worm castings, bat guano, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, mycorrizhae, and then I'm giving keyword LOWDOSE GENERAL HYDROPONICS FloraGro,FloraMicro,FloraBloom to supplement any nutrients the amended coco can't or isn't providing. Anyone with experience with this?

Eccoci ragazzi alla terza settimana! La pianta sta crescendo ad un ritmo davvero elevato, nn ho mai visto nulla del genere crescere con questa velocità! E anche il colore delle foglie di un verde intenso, è la grandezza totale della pianta sono fenomenali! Sono davvero impressionato, non mi sarei mai aspettato che la coltura in idroponica sia così poderosa e significativamente molto più sviluppata rispetto ad una coltivazione in terra! Me ne avevano parlato molto di questa capacità di crescita così rapida, ma davvero nn sto credendo ai miei occhi! Sto imparando molto grazie anche al manuale di texier, ma sopratutto penso siano i suoi nutrienti a fare gran parte della differenza! Le radici sono davvero ben sviluppate e per adesso non ho mai cambiato l acqua xke mi è sempre sembrato di un ottimo colore, e non noto alcun problema per adesso dal out o di vista radicale, probabilemnte grazie alle basse temperature della soluzione che nn supera i 20 gradi celsius e questo penso sia un grande vantaggio che tende a non far sviluppare funghi o microrganismi maligni per lo sviluppo della pianta! Per adesso sono davvero piacevolmente sorpreso dei risultati che sto ottenendo! Spero di continuare in questa direzione e di avere sempre la giusta conoscenza di questo nuovo tipo di coltivazione così chiamata da William texier "bio - ponica" una giusta terminologia per descrivere qualcosa di coltivato biologico senza uso di pesticidi o altro, e che sia fatta in acqua senza suolo! Garzie anche al sistema di Mars Hydro Dwc che per adesso si sta rivelando un ottimo sistema idroponico! Posso solo dire garzie di far parte della loro famiglia e anche quella di Terra Aquatica, è spero di continuare con questi ottimi risultati! L unico problema del loro sistema è il cambio Dell acqua, che xo penso si aver risolto comprando una pompa che mi aiuti a svuotare completamente la soluzione vecchia e sostituirla con quella nuova.. Grazie a tutti voi che mi seguite che siete da stimolo per continuare questa battaglia di coltivare questa mia passione per la cannabis che nel mio paese "Italia" è ormai perseguitata e sta diventando illegale pure il CBD nonostante nn sia psicoattivo, e sta portando al. Umgetopft wurde an Tag 12, als die Blätter den Rand des Topfes erreicht haben. Der Finale Topf ist ein 19L Stofftopf und wurde nach Schema mit dem Perfect Plant Pack von Bio Tabs NL vorbereitet.

Same old, same old.. despite the hot weather and my messiness, i think we are in a slow but good way.. Added 1ml of bio bloom, same schedule.

Dec 12 @1am: Her light schedule was been bumped down to 14 hrs. I have a photoperiod in the tent that needs a few days for harvest. Haze is now under the 1000W Phlizon/245W power draw lighting. Dec 12 @2:30am: New pot has been amended with approximately 65% fresh coco coir, about 20% worm castings,15% perlite and 17 tablespoons/51 teaspoons (12.75 teaspoons per gallon) in a 4 gallon pot. The pot will be thoroughly rinsed to rid salts from the old coco coir used in the pot. Dec 12 @6pm: Approximately 1" tall Dec 12: I think my dog got ahold of one of her cotyledons, unless it just disappeared. :) Dec 14 @2am: Transplanted to the newly amended pot. I watered her and the fresh coco coir mix she was transplanted into. Dec 14 @11:30pm: Her lighting went from 14 hrs to 24 with both veg and bloom lights on. (Photoperiod in tent harvested)

Top dressed at the end of week 3. I think I'm going to push these plants to 9 weeks. So I'm top dressing again and 3 weeks. Everything is going as smooth as butter right now..
