Here’s 6 weeks of my baby. I tried LST for 3 days. So let’s wait!!

🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Final defoliation was yesterday, she stretched a lot and is now in full flower she get bigger then any of my other plants and smells amazing She did not stress at all from me cutting away so many branch and leaves

I got the seeds for this grow from my last plant. There must bei some crasy genetic stuff going on because my plants are already starting to flower after about 4 Weeks.

I began the second week with 1/4 soil feed of NITRO that is added to the top layer of soil. I'm using Bigbudjuice throughout with a wet feed, and soil application. Day 9 is when the growth really started to happen as the seedlings seem to have good roots. Day 11 the girls were then given a 1/4 of budjuice watering which has resulted in some awesome growth over 3 days. During this week I've slowly increased the intensity while watching how the react and have shown no issues. Currently sitting at 350 Par and will being to.lower slowly to increase par to 450 PAR as the start into Veg. Also lowering RH slowly as well. I am a new grower, and I'm going slowly and steady while learning not to try to much or be crazy ambitious as a beginner. I also began a pre pest control spray on foliage with neem oil/Dr Bronners dish soap/water mix applying every 10-12 days. Thanks for stopping by and if you have any tips or advice it is all welcomed. Super stoked to keep learning as I go, and read the leaves as they are the first warning sign of what is happening. Nearing close to the end. Really regret not using the scrog net as they’re struggling to hold themselves up as they go through their final swellings on the buds. Smell has changed and has a candy sweet at the moment starting to come througH

This week everything is doing fine, getting to see some snow forming up on these plants. And the flushing have been done for this week. B1 and B2 have been reduced and increased in Bulky for the fertilizers.

Great week for the black opium! pink and purple bud all around - her trichomes have started picking up on their production - the smell is an amazing skunky berry (Sometimes even a slight coffee odor) - my neighborhood must be getting some good wiff's. Girl scout cookies probably has one more week of stretch left - did a final final final LST on her yesterday, shes loving the flat canopy - going to create some phat buds! shes got much more nodes than the auto black opium + the internode distance looks like it will allow for really well stacked buds which I am excited for!

Sooo... The King's Juice Auto wasn't placed back into the tent as you can see and she also wasn't really developing the pistols properly. Gave me a bit of worries but I think/hope she just needed some time to get used to the outdoor conditions. The last few days she started to develope quite well again. So far I could see any male traits... I hope it stays that way and she actually stays a female and only a female. Putting her back alone into the tent unfortunately just wasn't efficient at all. I switched the plants around and my tent is now a 3 plants flower tent with 12-12 cycle, so the King's Juice Auto probably wouldn't have had a lot of fun in the tent anymore. Also if the KJA decided to hermaphrodite as well, I wouldn't know if she was pollinated already or if my tent is still holding on to some pollen from before and I just HAVE to know if my tent is safe now. I just hope outdoor conditions stay like this. It's very sunny, hot and dry right now
