Waiting to get it up to speed for ScrOGging. Quite impressed by the roots, loving the Dynomyco. I also lowered the light a bit.. it should be getting about 20 DLI at the moment.

This is the final week, next time will be the harvest, this girl just got mature from a day to the other, lost 70% of the top bud due to rot i haven t seen. So i could get virtually 30-40% yield from this girl Without the locks or rot, anyhow still looking ok as far as harvest, quality will be a bit compromise, not the end of times though lol! 🙃👊🏻👍🏻

Another good week here in the tent. Getting water daily. Defoliated as needed every other day. The girls are looking great and smelling great. Lots of frost coming off these girls. Started the UVB at 30 minutes and have moved up to an hour. The tests went right to two hours but I wanted to ramp it up. Will go up thirty minutes tomorrow and continue that every few days to ramp up usage.

Grow cycle definitely does not correlate to manufacturer’s timeline, so be sure you plan accordingly. Although she’s not a bad plant doesn’t get too tall, odor isn’t too bad and she looks great!! After the cure I definitely love this strain wish she yielded a bit more but I’m happy with her. I definitely recommend this strain and any other Royal Queen Seeds strain.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Week 1 is going fine. I am going to grow this out to 3 feet and flip it under a trellis net. Apparently, Mos Cutty genetics are supposed to be fire. We had some stretch, but that was taken care of by adding more soil to the container. 10-11 Something I will go over in each of the grows is exactly what I use and exact amounts and ppm’s. Most of the time that I read other grows, it isn’t specific enough to mimic ( organically speaking). In the container ( 1 gallon): What’s inside the container exactly: 1: 1 Tablespoon 2-2-2 By Dr Earth 2. 2 Tablespoons earth worm castings 3. 3 Tablespoons Charcoal 4. 1/8 tsp recharge ( yes, I added it as dry amendment) 5. Mother Earth Soil

I transferred it to a half-gallon pot and I mixed the organic fertilizer with the soil.

Overall this plant was great to grow, she just grew and was happy doing it the entire time, pretty good yield off a plant that was only about 12inches tall. Seemed to be a lot more resistant to deficiencies then the other two strains this grow. Definitely a great mid-day Smoke!

19 de Abril: Poda de bajos y cambio de fotoperiodo a 12/12 22 de Abril: Riego con calcio, es algo que no tengo super probado, pero viene dando muy buenos resultados. Las próximas semanas se aplica foliar. 23 de Abril: Pulverizado de hechizo bloom, es una fuente de nutrientes y micro vida, también hace de bioestimulante. Las primeras 4 semanas de flora se pulveriza, el resto de semanas se usa en riego. 25 de Abril: Riego con BioAtomic, un bioestimulante biomineral que me ha dado buenos resultados, y quería terminar el frasco. Esta es la última aplicación que voy a hacer. Además agregamos la segunda malla scrog, aunque todavía solo llegan pocas ramas. En los 5 días que lleva de flora las plantas pegaron un buen estirón, pero sin descontrolarse, creo que no voy a tener problemas por ese lado. Las plantas se ven super sanas y creciendo relativamente parejo. Tema aparte, sumé una automática en el fondo de la carpa a la derecha. estuvo 6 semanas en exterior y nunca floreció, ni se la ve muy bien. Hablé con el proveedor y dice que es un problema de fertilización y luz, no de estabilización de la semilla, yo opino lo contrario, las hojas vienen saliendo deformes y nunca vi una autofloreciente vegetar 6 semanas sin indicios de preflora. La metí al indoor para ver qué ocurre, y si tengo razón, servirá como prueba para que me repongan la semilla. La voy a seguir fertilizando con short flowering de green house feeding. Les voy air contando que ocurre también con esta planta, y más adelante voy a hacer un seguimiento con las otras autoflorecientes que todavía no germiné.

The pistils are still white Shes very fat now and i think 2 weeks before harvest, i feed less now at 400ppm and starting ripen feed when half of her pustils turned brown August 18 (mid this week) I flushed her completely and fed ripen untill runoff got in the 200ppm. Now she is ready to finish Harvest will be at august 28th

She is a great strain thus far. My tent has been getting a bit hotter in the summer. Just a bit of issue though. Can't wait to try this one. Such a sweet candy smell.

It's been an interesting week. I had to ask for help with resolving the intense smell coming from my garden... I can smell it from my driveway at this point.. I was advised that I probably turned my fan up way too high, which overloads the carbon filter on the end of my exhaust. I ordered another new one.. turned it down.. and I also had to cut down the cheese auto... all her trichomes were cloudy bit I definatly could have left her for another week... just couldn't handle the smell lol. Ask for help and you shall receive, thanks Growdiaries. And thank you Oozlefinch for the solid advise.. ✌️ I bought a rosin press this week and it's awesome.. she will be used for this grow as soon as things are ready. I cut out my backyard to plan for round #3 for all these plants.. plus a whole lot more! Process/ Environment changes: -Turned down my exhaust fan.. the carbon filter can't keep up with the amount of air being pushed through it.. in the water industry we would call this 'short circuiting'.... The Gorilla cookies is growing well. It's a tall plant with long nugs ( I hope the full out a lot more). I would recommend supporting the branches at this point in the grow. There's a slight smell coming off her and trichome production was late to start compared to most the other plants I have... I suspect she will go past 90 days unfortunately, but I'm excited to see what the finished product looks like. Hitting her with compost teas at a pH of around 6.7 That's it.. I'm on auto pilot at this point.. there's not much I can do except sit back and wait. Thank you Fastbuds

Hola a todos, al fin comenzó el periodo de engorda, ya van 3 días en las que la planta dejo de espigar, esta semana aumenté la dosis de PK a 0.7 ml/l, ajuste un par de ramas para dejarlas bajo el foco, los cogollos ya están repletos de tricomas (adjunto fotos), la próxima semana ya estaremos viendo cogollos mejor formados, ya debo comenzar a pensar en mantener la humedad a raya, he notado puntos de estrés en zonas de más luz, la planta esta consumiendo más agua así que aumente la cantidad de riegos diarios (170ml cada 3 horas).
