21.5 - 70th day of flowering and here it is. Her last week. I will probably cut her down this weekend. I don't see any significant increase in mass that would convince me that the energy expended will be adequate for the yields. Plus, she is already ripe.

The CMH grow light has been set to 300w power and hung 120cm above the seedlings. The room is humidified to keep the humidity over 50%. A small fan is mixing the air to avoid any hot pockets from developing, plus the air movement is keeping the rockwool cool through evaporation. The extractor fan is running to get rid of excess hot air in the tent. Babies are growing fast. 😄

The plants keep on thriving with three rounds of defoliation, the growth is noticeable daily. As they entered preflowering i gave them the first round of delta 9 from cannabiogen, the plants responded great as usual. I highly recommend this product. 700PPFD 50DLI

Well, it's been three weeks since the last visit to the site, and I have to say that the girls have grown significantly in size! Defoliation has proven beneficial for them! It's also clear how well Plagron bat guano is working. As you can see, the plants have already begun to flower and gain mass. I want to note that the Fast Version from Sweet Seeds really started flowering earlier than the regular versions, giving me a two-week head start. This gives hope to avoid mold during harvest. Overall, I am very pleased! I'm considering adding Bud Candy from Advanced Nutrients to enhance sugar production in the flowers and make them taste better!

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. 🌸 Week 5 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week is done and the differences between the phenos are becoming more obvious with every update 👀🔥 Now that flowering is progressing, each phenotype is starting to show its own character much more clearly. Even though all plants are running under the same conditions, their reactions are very different. 📈 Current observations: Some phenos are handling irrigation and feeding extremely well and continue pushing strong growth Others are showing a bit more sensitivity and reacting differently to the same watering routine Leaf size differences are becoming huge now — some phenos are producing massive fan leaves while others stay much more compact Plant structure and overall vigor continue to separate more week by week At this point, 4 out of the 6 phenos are currently looking like strong candidates and fall into what I’d personally consider the “good” category so far 👀 🍃 Maintenance & feeding: I’m still managing the canopy and keeping an eye on how each plant develops through early flower. Small adjustments and observation are becoming more important now as every pheno responds differently. 📊 Current environment: Temperature stable around 26°C Relative humidity staying between 63–65% VPD maintained around 1.3 kPa Light intensity unchanged from previous adjustments Now I’m especially excited to see how the buds start forming over the next weeks, because that will probably decide which phenos really stand out in the end 🔥🌸 The structure is there — now let’s see who delivers when it matters. 💬 Which pheno do you think will end up producing the best flowers?

На этой неделе растения стабильно получали 20 часов света, это очень помогло им стать больше и сильнее. Я продолжаю тренировки LST. На этой неделе была обрезка веерных листьев, я часто практикую дефолиацию автоцветов. Надеюсь проблем со светом не будет, растения уже показали "усы" свой пол, значит стадия предцвета будет примерно через неделю, хочу что бы они стали ещё больше и набрали "мяса" массу. 5-27-20: getting closer. Shes my first autoflower and think ive done good so far. 5-30-20: had to harvest her. Too many nanners went unnoticed with too many other plants in the room. Thats common with trainwreck strain. Will update and close this out when its ready for curing.

Howdy all!! Thanks for checking in. Runtz is coming down in a couple days after 11 weeks flowering. Still waiting on some amber trichs, but she’s nearly there. Looking super frosty! Thanks for stopping by 🙌🏼

Talk about a mission accomplished, dam you Lamby… you had me excited at one point when I thought you were an auto, but to my shock, you are a regular, you just have a long ass flowering window… at least unlike her sisters within the 4th cycle, she did not reveg she just focused on flower, the buds are bulky and firm, scent is amazing, you would mistake her for a cheese strain. I should not be disappointed by the plant’s size! Because I planted her during winter, and all outdoor or greenhouse(unless you have a GH that is climate controlled), do not grow as big as the would during spring or summer season, and due to this factor, I only got 59g of wet bud. But I have faith the other ladies will produce a higher yields. Last I smoke this strain was earlier late summer or early Autumn, and from smoking to growing now harvest, I wish I am blown out the water with this strain, it’s time to conduct that questionnaire. Or even better go to an established cannabis club, and get them to samples bud, and ask for a review.
