This bugger neatly drank 3L of the solution I had prepared for three weeks!! there some serious growth happening. Defoliation was a good idea at this point to reduce the amount of wasted nutrients and increase the flowering priority. Had to share the last "video" to show my appreciation in learning about LST here on growdiaries, those are pepper plants.

Beginning of week 7, It’s always cool making it to the point where you can smell a strains unique flavors. The scent is still only minor, but coming in. Any LST at this point is just small re-adjustments to branches that have already been tied down. But overall it has its final shape. While smaller than I had originally hoped, going to do what I can to get these buds as fat as possible! At day 47, seems the runt of the litter is finally showing some formed buds, as well as some purple tint. The plant that started mutated, while still odd looking, has the frostiest leaves and largest branches so far. It’s now the end of week 7, time has been flying by the past couple months. The plants are mostly their final shape and structure, now it’s time to watch the bids pack on weight. The one runt plant is maybe a week or two behind the others, but I’m keeping it going because why not!

Solid week!! Fed her bloom nutrients on day 50. Responding nicely. I pulled down the main 8 to allow for better light and airflow throughout. Once I did that she really started to fill in again. This also seems to help stop the stretch, or maybe it was just timing and stretch was coming to an end anyways. Either way, glad it did as I am am running out of room to raise the lights and have no more options for setup. Bud sites are all starting to fill in good and fatten up a tiny bit. Looking forward to seeing how these shape up!!!

Hi All, Its week 6 of flowering. Things are on track and buds are bulking up. I think I am going to conclude that the red stems on top fan leaves are just a genetic trait. Will do one last reservoir change and start to decrease nuets next week.

This strain is beautiful. It loved the LST and grew very well without any problem. Today I lollipopped her, so now the plant can concentrate all her energies on the top colas. The colas are just beautiful, and the smell is soo good, the best I have ever smelt.

Ok so I chopped her.... I had too.... as I found rot in Blue Gelato, I knew she could have some... and I was right. Sometimes I hate being right... lately more often than not. But on a good note. She really only had a little 2 or 3 buds I don't remember... Trimmed lightly and hung to dry... I have to run a dehumidifier due to all the rain.. I have only been getting 10 hrs of sun total, I realised now.. normally i use supplemental light in the winter and i grow autos usually. But I'm always changing crap... and forgetting what I should do when... so really fuck it.. I will keep flowering with 10 hrs of light. I will have to figure something out soon if I'm going to grow outside this year..

Hello GD Crew!!! I’m glad to finally be back with a new diary. A LOT has happened since my last diary. The large room I was using back then got infested with spider mites. For a while I thought I had them beat, but they came back with a vengeance. So I thoroughly cleaned my 2x4 tent and set it up in the opposite side of the house. However, that part of the house is also now my new man cave and was under construction until a few months ago (its still not completely done yet, but close enough). I have also switched back to LED lighting. I’m using a pair of Spider Farmer SF1000’s (100w) LED’s. I was using a 315w CMH fixture but felt I was getting better results with my old blurple ViparSpectra’s (both of which have died). Also, it was getting too hot in the tent with the CMH. To be completely honest the best weed I’ve ever grown was using a 1000w HPS, but that could possible melt a 2x4 tent and I’d be tripping circuit breakers all the time again. After a lot of research it looked like the Spider Farmer SF1000’s were the best bang for the buck in the LED market these days. They have the right components (Samsung LM301B diodes and MeanWell drivers) and have great specs. I was able to purchase them on Amazon Prime Day for $129/each (USD). For soil I’m using Coast of Main Stonington Blend Grower’s Mix. I had been previously trying to amend and reuse old soil or mix old soil 50/50 with new soil and in retrospect that was a mistake. The PH was totally unpredictable as were what nutrients were available or deficient. I felt like I was always trying to fix soil problems and one thing would lead to another. So, from now on its fresh soil in every pot. I’m using 3 gallon pots with self watering reservoirs at the bottom. In addition to the Coast of Main Stonington Blend I’m also using Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. I filled the 3 gallon pots with the Coast of Main Stonington Blend first, then dig out a hole in the middle about the size of a grapefruit and filled that hole with the Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. Then I planted the seeds about knuckle deep in the middle of the Seedling Mix. This seemed to work great, both pots had small seedlings appear in 5 days. This diary will focus primarily on FastBuds BlackBerry, but I am also growing a DinaFem Critical+ Auto at the same time. I’ve grown both of these strains a few times in the past with mixed results. But, I’m hoping this grow will be far greater than those in the past. My plan is to allow the Coast of Main Stonington Blend act as the ‘super soil’ it is supposed to be and not add any additional nutrients. I will however be adding RealGrowers Recharge on a regular basis (I love that stuff, it really makes a difference) and will probably also add some CalMag once in a while. But that’s all. Additionally, I do not plan on doing much training with these girls. I will LST bend them over at a 45 degree angle around the time they hit their flowering stretch, but that’s all. Bending at a 45 degree angle gives better exposure to lower branches and allows those lower branches to produce larger tops. Hoping for the best!!! Please feel free to comment and follow. 9/14 Week 9 and they are doing fine Little vid Hero Left rear Bea rt rear They are almost identical now Bea a bit larger Nuets not changing for now 9/16 Doing well but some white tips are saying we gotta reduce the salts so will be dropping CT nuets 10% and upping PK to 2.5 Extra space is really doing them well Defoliation again tonight the war on stemmed leaves has begun 9/17 Held a meeting of the minds and decided the best course of action is to flip the light schedule so I can feed them more appropriately, twice a day. Leaving nuets as they are as this will drop pot EC. Setting the alarm for the AM before lights out at 7:30 and changing the sched to 6AM-6PM summer is done no need for current schedule. Lights be out from 7:30AM to 6AM long I know but should not bother them. Made a bouquet of all the sucker branches, seems to be a lot on FF11 9/19 Lights on girls feed buds look fine Video enjoy

WEEK 2 DAY 14 Since last week the babies have taken off! They didn’t have much light until yesterday when I added another 100w led and since then I’ve seen a huge difference ! They are looking super healthy the roots said fuck the pot and grew right through it I’m actually super interested in seeing how these grow up.. The 3 clones that were separate last week are now moved into one single pot to further develop the experiment. They are on the same feed as the mother with flora grow/micro/bloom and cal-mag . And In the last picture you can see my ghettos man way of cloning .. going to see which 2 out of 4 are better rooted and I will move those to a pot in about a week or so. Buds starting to grow throughout the room now having afew issues across the board on all plants with yellowing leaves and have concluded it is mag deficiency so will add call mag now see if they peek up until next week!
