18cm vertical growth this week. She's not very tall.... Not sure what I've done wrong. 😐 Slowing down now we are entering flowering. She is VERY bushy!!!!!! Very short internode length. I've cut the big fan leaves off the main stem to allow light to penetrate her lower leaves!!! I never usually do this, but she is so bushy they had to go.

2 of them got cut on day 66 the last one on day 69 but overall I couldn’t be happier with these babies they all put off some amazing buds & didn’t give me much trouble at all! This is by far my favorite auto of this grow & I will be doing another run with them! If you havnt already go get you some seeds from seedsman you won’t be disappointed! 13th week. If I am not wrong I started 12/12 light schedule with 36 hours darkness before at beggining of the week 7, so it is the 7th week of flowering.... or 6th ?😅 Well buds are getting thicker, and just checked the trichomes now they are more matured but still need I think at least 3 weeks to be done properly. When I see the milky trichomes, I will start flushing. Wednesday: End of the week Purple Punch is 43 cm like before. Buds are thicker smelly and a lot of resin. It is totally coated with THC, and sticks my finger together. This is the last day I fertilized the plant, from tomorrow I will start flushing. I will give maximum 2 more weeks to be done. I also removed some more fan leaves (those are getting yellow) so I will make some tea. I really love the citrus taste and the smell of this plant.

Second week, everything is going well, lst adjusment and light defoliation

The focus is just on the red phenos. Although the green version smoke and smell great too. It was the Reds For me.

De fanned all plants to help light penetration for onset of flowers. I’ve either got a fungus knats or root aphid issue. I’m usually on a daily watering system but have had to manually feed plants due to some under root development, which is probably due to bugs. Noticed some yellowing but plants seem to be doing fine.

It gives me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start and incubation period 3/12/24 to 3/26/24 Transfer Day to Veg Day 6 3/27 to 4/2 Germination: First note was about the appearance of the seeds. They were smaller than I am used to seeing, but no damage or deformities and look to be in good shape. Germination took 14 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 23hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. 2 cracked open a little and I placed them both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 2 days then checked, no progress. So I freshened the water then waited another 2 days and checked, little to no progress. Then checked again 1 day later and finally was able to move them. One looked fully ready and the other seemed less ready. I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. 1 popped out of the pods in 1 day but the other did not. So I gave it 1 more day and started my spare seed. After 4 days of water and towels I replaced the dead pod with a growing sprout. Transplant occurred on 3/27 Veg Day 0 to 6 1gal hard tall pots. Transplant went well. The sprouts are smaller than I would like and seem to be stubborn in growth to start but hoping htat changes with soil. One pod was overgrown in the pods and Im hoping it doesn't reflect in the overall plant production. Video: Transplant ease. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

Day 1 (day I got plant) -Placed clone in cup of soil with bottom cut off in larger pot for easy future transplanting. (Pics. 1&2) -Cut 2 bottom fan leaves off -Sprayed leaves and soil with water Day 3 -noticed tiny white spots on some leaves. Looks like spider mites but probably not since I'm in a grow tent and I couldn't see evidence of mites under the leaves (UPDATE Day 5 I added a video of the white dots) Day 4 -Didnt get to see plant today. Received first watering to overflow of the smaller cup

Planted seeds June 12th at 12:26am. While germinating the seeds and during the night time I will be keeping them all in a 2x2x5 grow tent under three 2 foot T5 bulbs to maintain a 24 hour light cycle. I am also using a seedling heat mat to raise the root zone temperature, along with creating a humid environment. Three seeds are visible from peat pellets June 14th at 8am. Last seed is visible through medium at 5pm. All plants sprouted with cotyledon leaves June 15th at 11am. Transplanted all the plants into 5 gallon fabric pots with pre-amended medium at June 17th. Three plants have first leaves forming, while one seems to be a little behind. Gave a light watering, along with heavy misting on the soil. Last plants first leaves started forming June 18 at 7pm. All plants are progressing well with minimal stretching. All 4 plants have their 2nd set of leaves starting to grow June 20th at 12pm. Put outside right at 12pm, then brought them inside at 9:30pm. Put outside June 21st at 1pm Watered them lightly twice with several hour gap in between. All leaves are praying up and all growth is progressing. Put inside at 11pm.

Finally it was time to cur them down. There is a nice layer of glassy trichomes and the plants have dense buds. I am expecting a decent harvest outcom. Updates will follow drying and curing proceeds

🌱 Runtz - Week 2 Update 🌱 The second week of growth is well underway, and so far, the Runtz seedlings are showing great potential, despite a small hiccup earlier in the week. 🌿 This week started with a bit of a scare when I noticed something unusual with my Root Juice fertilizer—it had gone bad, with white spots floating inside, resembling mold. I had already applied it a few times during the first week, which led to some concerns about the soil's health. I took quick action by removing the top layer of the soil and replacing it with fresh soil mixed with mycorrhiza. To combat any lingering issues, I watered the plants with a solution of Clean Soil and Cannazym to cleanse the medium and support root health. Thankfully, the Runtz plants didn’t seem to be affected negatively—they’ve maintained steady growth and appear happy and healthy! It’s a relief to see their resilience. Looking forward to wrapping up Week 2 with bigger, stronger plants and setting the stage for explosive growth in the coming weeks! Day 85. First girl is down, she was always smallest, made herself extra bent in veg, but started to flower first and finished first. Never will i leave seedling pot to grow through, girl had very weak root system. She had smallest shock from moving indoors, furthest from light ... that only makes my point, i can't mix lights with my current setup, something happens with plants. Day 86. Second girl is down, no space and too humid, better chop now, than part whats left from bud rot ;))) Cure day. Girls both blackjacked me ;))) Smallest plants in my history, 42 from one i would count as not so bad, an ounce was expected, but not from two plants total ..... They smell so fruity and sweet, thats pure joy ! Maybe only joy ;)))) Grow report will be filled soon, i will cry enough there ;)))
