Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Blackberry grow vigorously and very beautiful plant. Nice strain, suitable for beginners. Plants look happy and healthy, all is well. Blackberry already flowering, now I see amazing colors, love this frosty buds xD=). The smell is not strong. Nice amazing smell of berries, so sweet! Petite taille effectué, j’ai coupé l’apex et j’ai laisser seulement le noeud juste en dessous de celui qui étais le plus développé, pour vois si les deux repousse de l’apex et celle du noeud en dessous arrive à la même taille/croissance , afin d’être le plus symétrique possible. Car avant tous je suis passionné par l’art végétal et le bonsaï, j’ai commencé à cultiver du cannabis il y a maintenant 3ans, un été j’ai planté une petite graines dans un bête terreaux vide de nutriments, et là tout a commencé. Mais comme dis précédemment j’aimais l’art, et ce plant en question je l’ai transformé en bonsaï, un magnifique bonsaï, un chef d’œuvre, au quel j’ai perdu toutes photos. L’année d’après j’ai recommencé le même scénario, une graine et on recommence, la se fut un échec, plant trop gourmand et trop sensible au stress, il m’a lâché à 3/4semaine de floraison, puis maintenant 1ans que je cultive en intérieur a rechercher une bonne recette de living soil, toujours à la recherche de perfection jusqu’à couper avant même la fin de floraison car j’étais pas satisfait du résultat. (C’est pour ça aussi que j’ai supprimé tous mes journaux) J’ai coupé deux cultures comme ça et j’ai fais qu’une récoltes sur la troisième. Maintenant celle qui m’excite le plus est la petite graine d’extérieur, oui comme on dit jamais deux sans trois, plus de 1ans que j’attends cette variété, la Frosty purple freak. Le mutant violet de chez Khalifa Genetic. Que je vais bien évidemment travailler comme un bonsaï, mais symétrique , je vais éviter de trop le stresser comme j’ai eu du retard sur la croissance du a certain imprévu de type limace et temps catastrophique. (2 graines bien planté dans mon derrière.) je vais essayer de bien le diriger tous en essayant d’avoir une certaine récolte, en faire un bonsaï crée d’énormes stress au plant et ralenti considérablement la croissance, pour essayer de récolter 50/100 grammes sur le plant en extérieur faudrais approcher les 3/4 mois de végétation si tu implique des haut stress training et de la coupe a gogo. Et j’avoue que j’ai pas payer plus de 50litre de living soil juste pour 15/20 grammes de récoltes sur le plant, même si la satisfaction d’avoir fait une œuvre d’art, ça ne vaut pas le coup, je ferais mieux l’année prochaines, je dois accepter cette défaite. J’ai mis des vidéo de mon deuxième bonsaï, il étais en début de floraison et il avait environ 4mois, sans nutriments ,je lui estimais 30/50 grammes en fin de Flo, mais il m’a lâcher. Dans les deux dernières vidéo, il y en a une où on voit bien le dépôt bactérien et nutritifs du thé de compost oxygéné. Recette du thé pour la semaine 15litre d’eau de pluie 30 gr guano guali 15 gr Meal wormcastings 15 gr nettle 7 gr spirulina 7 gr Hydrosolat Kelp 225 gr wormcastings 15 gr hydrolysât de poisson 15 gr Comfrey 10 gr levure saccharomyces cerevisiae souches lycc 6420 60 gr Zeolit of chabasit 15 gr Azomite 45 ml de mélasse 15ml d’acide Humic et fluvic J’ai arroser 6 litre pour la purple freak et le reste a d’autre plantes Et un autre arrosage avec 500ml d’eau neutre avec 1gr bacilllus amyloliquefaciens x5 qui a été effectué le lendemain du thé La culture se passe bien, du côté de la purple freak Aucun problème à déplorer, plant très résistant, au changement de température et condition climatique supporte très bien les orages et les temps pluvieux et chaud, pas de signe de maladie, j’ai actuellement des ravageur depuis le début de la culture, pas un signe de problème. Réagit très bien au coupe, j’en suis plus que ravie, elle fait partis de mon top1. Seul truc qui m’inquiète, c’est ce mauvais temps. Un mélange de chaleur et de pluie, qui a amené de l’oidium sur certaine de mes plantes extérieur, j’ai peur que cela se propage sur la purple freak. Je vais devoir traiter tous cas, sans traitement agressif bien sûr.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. У нас прошла очередная неделя и я просто в восторге от того как быстро мои клоны растут , им уже нужен горшок по больше так что скоро будем делать пересадку. Все идет хорошо без никаких проблем покормил, устроил им душ и вернул в бокс. Я восхищаюсь генетикой и тем как это растение стремительно растет.

Diese Woche brachte für den Traphouse Genetics Cut eine spürbare Veränderung. Zu Beginn stand das Blattwerk noch sehr gedrungen, während die Spitzen bereits deutliche Blütenknäuel mit langen weißen Fäden zeckten. Es war an der Zeit, die Schere anzusetzen, um im Dickicht Platz zu schaffen. Der radikale Schnitt zeigt sofort Wirkung: Das untere Drittel ist nun komplett kahl und von jeglichem Kümmerwuchs befreit. Gleichzeitig wurden gezielt Sonnensegel entfernt, damit das Licht ungehindert bis zu den unteren Ansätzen der künftigen Main-Colas durchdringen kann. Looks promising…she got high levels of moisture from the past days rain…no watering for her this week…her leaves started to curl so I have to get her dry off hopefully no humidity spike.
