It aids in breaking down seed shell, and sanitize seeds at the same time. Plant is loving the light and looks great and is starting to show the first signs of budformation. On the final few days of a 10 day flush. Will be chopping down this week to harvest and hang dry. Really excited to try this one. The smells in the room are unreal.

Cut the little Canuck on day 75 before dawn and placed in tub of clean water for 4 hours to remove debris. Then hung under a shady tree to dry excess water. Very dry breezy day. By evening I weigh it at 168 grams stem and all. Then hung upside down bag open to dry. It was beginning to wilt after 48 hours... hopefully long enough to break down some carbs. I’ll be checking every day an if rain threatens I’ll put in shed. Hope to trim and bag in shed after 7 days to finish drying. Pyramid is ready to cut. It will get the same treatment. I know this is a little unorthodox and a bit risky getting the plant so wet before drying. I feel like it just gives the plant an extra day to use up any nutrients and break down those starches.

She looks very healthy but two of her 20 tops had to go. So she now has 18 tops. Her sister still has 6.

Went to town on the not so lower third, did a good lower half on these since they are so tall, I don’t really want any larf and I’ll probably go back in in a couple weeks and do the same thing. These ladies are stretching crazy and also starting to put out some ice. Very excited, these were cloned from a purple pheno, but that purple pheno couldn’t been due to deficiency. Either way I’m so hyped for this grow, the octopots are out performing my expectations and so are the plants. I turned the light up to 75% and they seem to like it so far, I’m afraid to go too high on it since they are essentially touching it right now anyway. Week 3 in the books. It’s time for some bud formation.

finally they are in flower! Yay final foliar spray applied. They are still smelling like chocolate and peanut butter. Did not get 1 drop of rain this week. It is getting so frustrating plants are 1/4 what they should be this year.

So this grow came to a finshed but I had a. Few issues that’s held me up from finishing up the diary, but in due time I will reupload it all in order soon. But over all I will also update with a final weigh in of each strain produced so stay tuned 🤙🏻🔥

The moniker Mother Superior is apt. Purple Wedding Glue stands a full two node spaces taller than her tent sisters and holds court while pontificating on the virtues of hard work and being a sexy bitch 💅. There’s argument to be made about genetics and structure but there’s also no denying that the Nun dug a little deeper and found something that her peers didn’t or couldn’t. With the onset of pistils, Purple Wedding Glue saw a rehoming with an entirely different set of environmental parameters, namely slightly higher DLI and a crash in humidity to 50-55% that she accepted with grace and poise followed also by a jump in nutrition with the start of her flowering solution minus the first week of flower K dose. And that’s where the complications set in… As I write this I’m looking at the start of leaf stress, inward curling on the new growth sans any burning or clawing, that I’m attributing to myself and my propensity to push the envelope in the name of frugalness. Bio diesel state very clearly on their foliar feed chart “we advise using Rhino K within the first 24 hours of mixing”… I did not lol, and I now believe that 72 hours is asking too much of the solution 🤣. So the foliar application of K brought with it a hiccup but nothing dramatic, lesson learned, only fresh foliar mixtures from now on. But that situation lead me to leave out the K from PWG’s first coco soak. In saying all that the K application did see a tightening and decrease in node spacing and subsequently a slow in vertical growth. A welcome and expected result as PWG was suffering from a slight case of scoliosis due to cramping in the nursery tent. And smell. PWG now comes equipped with an olfactory experience. A deep waft of her admittedly early main cola site suggests a slight but evident dank on the front and burned coffee on the back, no doubt to change and evolve as she matures but any scent beyond planty chlorophyll gets a smile. What a crazy hot week I’m happy the flowering light is now off it’s helping with the ac not running constantly. Also a perfect time to dry buds when the ac is blasting all day.

Ok this was my first grow and I made mistakes. -forgot to buffer coco - nutrient burn -started the manlining to early - probably worried to much about every stage these plants. -ended up with fungus gnats And probably appt more I can’t rmeber in the moment. But i learned so much from all of my mistakes and spent so much time researching and seeing in real time how these plants react and grow. I did do some experimentation just a normal top with one blue dream. I topped twice one another blue dream and did a 3 times topped on all the blue dreams and I see why you should at least top three times the eight main colas and spread out the plant I see some of the buds on the one I only topped once not matured at all because there was minimal light other buds were growing so fat it suffocated it basically. I could have probably defoliated and manliness better but ayy. Beginners wil make Mistakes and I’m happy with what came out of these girls. Not excited for trim hail but I am at the same time 😅😅
