Veg Week 3 The Plants DAY 22 - Transplanted T.O.5. Not Root Bound, but definitely could see the bright white roots all around the container. The plant started stretching almost immediately. So cool to see plants move. DAY 26 - Finished Transplanting for this week-- T.O. 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 13 to ~1 gallon pots. Watering Starting watering every day toward the end of the week (Day 26). Days are starting to get warmer. Growing in fabric pots in Southern California typically requires daily watering starting in June. I've learned through the years that the plant just sucks up the water and boosts in size. The more water you can give it without rotting the roots - the bigger the plant. There are still differences in strains - some plants just like to get dry before the next drenching. Couple more weeks until the June solstice (June 20). Nutrients Building up the arsenal in my cupboard--Bud Candy + Overdrive from AN, Kelp Meal from Down To Earth. I usually don't add too much stuff because the soil is fairly loaded from the bag.

Starting flush this week and will chop in 7 days.

So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

I'm pretty confident it's not a PH issue at this point. Seems plants are rapidily soaking up the nutrients in the water. I also found 8 or 9 fan leaves with slight nutrient burn a few days ago. Nutrient burn seems to have tapered off and haven't noticed any spreading. Going to try adding an additional watering to the schedule to see what happens. I'm hesitant to mix stronger nutrients due to nutrient burn I started to see earlier this week. At the same time, need to figure out the cause of the nutrient deficiencies. I'm currently using the Light Feeding Schedule from Mills Nutrients (says "light", but is still 2.06 EC including 0.54 EC for water + CalMag) Need to switch to flower soon but need to figure out deficiency issues before the switch. Defoliation: * Removed quite a bit of fan leaves suffocating nodes. Girls are 10lbs lighter. Despite the nutrient issues, the girls have been filling out fast. I have transplanted into Dutch buckets. Filled with perlite. And all are now in the Greenhouse. Doing great. These are watered 4 times a day for 1 minute. This girl is looking great and growing fast. Preflowers are out. She is the tallest.

I would describe myself as a grower who gets more enjoyment out of the growing process itself than from the result of it. Not on this one though.

Tuning in kinda late as you can see they all trained down and spreaded around the pot. Feeding regular water coz i put biotabs in the soil, going organic this time to try to seek that difference in the taste and aroma.

Update week 8

03/15/2021 Reppoting of GSC done I used Bonide(4-10-3) Root&Grow with iba! to lessen shock of transplant and heavy defoliating. Flipping to 12-12 today (the first clones will be for outdoors) made before and after videos of defoliation, and reppot. Blue Dream is cruising along nicely with a little LST bending of branches & stems,so all in all not a bad week..

She has began flowering! 😍 She is progressing like an absolute beast, so happy with how healthy and beautiful she is looking!
