D29: Pistils are clearly showing now. She's looking really good and vigorous. I did notice a (very) small number of brown pistils. Might be from being a little bit careless while doing LST and toching it with the iron wire, could that be? Or could there something else going on? Speaking of LST, from now on I'm going to let the main cola grow upward again. I kept her really low to give the lower branches enough space, and I think that's the case now. I also tucked away most of the fan leaves that were blocking the light of certain tops. I think I'm going to plant her out in full ground by the end of the week. Temperatures are supposed to be 20+°C then. Any thoughts about that? D31: I decided to let it stay in its current pot, in order not to stress the roots right before flowering. She still keeps on growing every day, still at a surprisingly high pace. Also, I'm tucking away the fan leaves and other leave that are blocking the sunlight from the tops. Tomorrow it's watering time again, right before the start of week 6. Since I'm only watering her after the soil is almost dried out, I'm probably not watering her for another 5-6 days. My question now is what fertilisers I should be adding. There's already 60g of granular 6-3-3 fertiliser in it (added over the past two weeks), so I won't be adding any more of that anymore. I have phosphorous grains (6-16-0), and potassium grains (2-0-20) and I'm wondering if I should already add those potassium grains or just stick with phosphorous grains this time and add potassium grains next watering when it's (probably by then) just started flowering. Any advice?

They all doin pretty good, leaves are a little too yellow for my liking at this point I should have added some grow to the mix but they will be fine I think. I have 3 of these going one is at an earlier stage but they seem to have very elongated bud structure with a solid stretch in flower. Howdy! I have premixed 1L worth of PH adjusted nutrient solution which I am periodically syringing on top of the rock wool when it starts to get dry. I see some people only use RO water with cal-mag to start them off, but through my own unscientific opinion I figured 550 PPM won’t hurt considering seeds grow in soil and that isn’t exactly nutrient free! I am using RO water which I will keep in a 70 litre bucket ready for the DWC system once it is up and running. RO system was only £50/$80/€60 from the internet and it’s getting my hard water down to 0-1PPM from 450PPM. Growing my ladies in a smallish tent, 60 x 120cm which is 180cm high. Using one 315w LEC/CMH for the first two weeks, and then adding another 315w after week two. Using 4200k bulbs for veg, 3200k bulbs for bloom. Will take more pictures of the set up in the next week or so once the babies are in the 70 litre DWC Bubble System. Planning on buying Silica Blast to compliment nutrients in the next week or so. Ps, I believe this is the first DWC grow diary for Strawberry Lemonade, hopefully my mistakes and successes over coming weeks will help anyone who reads this! 🌱

December 8 2018 day 73 from seed light burn but still going good

Week 3 has just been wild there proper going for it

Week 1 went off perfectly, purples babies reaching WEEK 2! 😍 PRESENTATION OF THE LADIES 😍 ------------------------------------------ The four plants are the same genetic. But they already have a different look, and I would introduce them to you :) 1) The Ugly - She have terrible first leaves. But she isn't late compared to the other. So I still believe in my Ugly! 2) The fatties - 2 of them grew wide leaves. It's just about leaves shape for now. 3) The solar panel - This one grew less wide but longer leaves. Regarding the Ugly, I must say that for the 4 seeds, I had to manually remove the shell when they sprouted. They all had their shell on after sprouting, and I don't like that. Probably a bit old seeds? For now, they share the same needs, and seems all happy. But this might change. I may even not be abble to recognize them, except if I cheat on them by putting labels on their pots ^^ 💧 WATERING 💧 ------------------ Luckily, the weather is offering some rains, and I been abble to put the ladies out under the rain during day 7 and 8. Not that long, they still got watered on Day 8, some hours after the rain. With feeding for the first time! 🍗 FEEDING 🍗 ------------------ First feeding. Used Fish-mix at 0.8ml/L. I plan to have a second watering in the week, but without nutrients. That's why I written 0.4ml/L in diary settings. If you know me, you also know that I like Fish-mix, but that I'm also effraid of it ^^ As foliar later during veg, it's an awesome products, easy to see that plants love it. But it seems verry powerfull, and need to be used carefully when given to plant. My rule is to limit to 50% of recommended dose. For now. Anyway, Fishmix right after a rain must turn on every form of life in soil I believe 😀 Even life coming from rain. 🏡 GROWING CONDITIONS 🏡 ----------------------------------- Starting an indoor session on the end of summer seems a good choice for me: - Some rains that provide me better water - I can put the ladies out if verry sunny, to save electricity/money - Perfect temps in the grow room. My house is always windows open. ​The growroom lightup in the end of the afternoon, when the day get cooler - Plants will flowering indoor during winter. I need heat during winter, so thanks grow room :D And cold air mean verry dry air! So reaching low humidity on the end of flowering will be verry easy! Pests : Nothing to report for now. I'm expecting a visit of my good old friends the thrips in 2-3 weeks 😎 Grow tent & Light (XS2000 ViparSpectra) : Something I notice just now: I'm abble to close the grow tent without air-extraction. I never been abble to do that in the past. This light is waaaay more efficient, and produce way less heat, because I couldn't keep tent close with my previous Mars Hydro TSW2000. So I had a few issue. I over watered early on, took them out the seed tray early, started feeding them a week or two late, no humidifier yet but they recovered well.

In the end I was pretty happy and surprised about the dense and hard buds! Especially when I think about the way we had to move this plant in a setup that was completely crap except the LEDs.

Not a lot to report this week. The leaf curl has diminished, and all the girls are looking pretty good! This tent is going to fill up quick, using the SoG. Let's see what happens next week!

Hey! My ladies are growing massive!! Tall and bushy! Eventually I had to change the height of the lights as I noticed some signs of hheet stress! After applying that big AC to the room, I could manage the heet but still the plants didn’t like it very much! So Im leave 1Veg/2Bloom lights on for 20h,but increase the lights for a few hours evry one a while to maximum. I also did my last defoliation and made a video for you guys . Best of luck!

Day 36 11/6 - General: She keeps going up, and you can see more and more pistils everywhere. Techniques: Made some adjustments to the tallest and longest arms, tried to level everything and did what I thing is my last defoliation. Maybe another one a few days before I chop her down. But at this stage, I think we're done. Feeding: After last night feeding, she had a lot of water in the bottom of the pot, so I emptied it and today there's no food for her. One day abstinence, just a little mist before lights on. Smell: #3 still win the show and is 9 days behind. But she has a smell, very light/mild. Temps and RH recorded today: 29c - 20c 88% - 41% Pests and plagues: Nothing to record, just took all out of the grow and cleaned the floor with a proper disinfectant I have home, and washed all plates from the pots, as I do every week. Day 37 12/6 - General: Accentuated growth of pistils overnight. She's growing steady and healthy, looks happy in the given conditions. With this warm days, I'm struggling again with higher temps and low RH. Even with an humidifier using 7 liters of water every 24h, the light 3/4 from the top of the tent, the extractor on - regulated for 25c max and full on.. I hope it doesn't get any worse s if this levels keeps or lowers, I'll definitely have problems in the grow. Techniques: Another few leaves were gone. She really likes to grow leaves and can't imagine her without lst and defoliation. Feeding: Gave her the week 5 schedule, according to biobizz schedule. Tomorrow will do the same and maybe from monday will start going over, depending on her response. Smell: With the development of all the pistils, she gained a new aroma. Very pleasant but still very 'green'. #3 still ahead on smell Temps and RH recorded today: 30c - 18c 69% - 30% Pests and plagues: Nothing to record. Day 38 13/6 - General: She keeps stretching in a good rhythm! A lot of leaf growth lately, that made me broke my own promise of not defoliate her more. Well I did it again. Regarding the heating and RH problems, after a full morning and afternoon working inside the grow and outside, they're finally solved now. I didn't have the thermo-hygrometer in the right place, and made some adjustments in the setup that brought me back to desired values. Having the fans in the right place and speed and the same with extractor made all difference. Techniques: Another few leaves were gone. A handful. Move all the the plant around a little, to get more light and air around. Feeding: Gave her the week 6 schedule, according to biobizz schedule. Tomorrow will do the same and maybe from monday will start going over, depending on her response. Smell: With the development of all the pistils, she gained a new aroma. Very pleasant but still very 'green'. #3 still ahead on smell Temps and RH recorded today: 30c - 18c 63% - 28% Pests and plagues: Nothing to record. Day 39 14/6 - General: Good general growth. Going to stop with the training, to let them go up. It's getting tight in there. Pistils are whiter and longer, lots of new foliage. On the temperatures, still not happy with overall temps, that can easily go up to 30c. And that's way too much. Happy with RH values at the moment, but not so much with temps. Start to think I have a nice couple plants to make a SCRoG, and will eventually consider it during the week, while the plant grows. May be a nice way to support the weight if needed. Techniques: Bent the tallest arms around, like an arch, to even it out. More foliage removed. I feel I could just strip off her fan leaves. It's dangerously addictive to cut this leaves and to try to make the best light-surface possible. Feeding: Reacting well to the nutes given so far. I've increased slowly the amounts, to avoid overfeeding and other related problems. Gave her the "week 6 biobizz schedule", with a 1ml/L extra of Top-Max. Tomorrow will do the same and maybe from Wednesday/Thursday will start going over, depending on her response. Smell: Nothing new since yesterday. Temps and RH recorded today: 30c - 18c 87% - 30% Pests and plagues: Nothing to record. Day 40 15/6 - General: She's getting taller. Today didn't touch the plant at all, been just around the tent trying still to get the perfect environment, which is not being that easy task to accomplish. Got it going very well, steady temp and RH (25 celsius, 45%) until the afternoon when the high temperatures outside thrown the temperature values to the 30c for some minutes. She looks healthy, developing properly, and seems to react well to higher dosages of nutes. Techniques: Just checked everything out. Nothing done in this area. Feeding: The medium looks good enough to skip a day on the feeding. The pot feels heavy enough to wait at least 12+ hours. Smell: With the increase of the heat and RH going down, the smell got a bit more intense, but again, still all very light on the nose right now. Still behind #3 Temps and RH recorded today: 30c - 19c 71% - 36% Pests and plagues: Nothing to record. Day 41 16/6 - General: Pistils are growing evidently. The whole plant under the light looks very well. After 48h without watering, today was time to feed her again. Funny was expecting to be drinking more than a liter a day. It's the second day I don't touch the plants, and will keep this way until tomorrow, last day of this week. Techniques: Just checked everything out. Nothing done in this area. Feeding: Week 7 Biobizz Feeding schedule (as above). Smell: Nothing new to add. Still behind #3 Temps and RH recorded today: 29c - 21c 60% - 38% Pests and plagues: Nothing to record. Day 42 17/6 - General: Another day without touching her. I'll let her do her thing for a week and then I'll see what to do. Right now she looks so nice I won't touch. Overall she's getting bigger and pistils are getting bigger by the day, it's full flowering now. Finally get a hold on temps and RH, which makes me super happy. Today I'll delay the feeding for 12h, fastening her for 36h. Techniques: Just checked everything out. Nothing done in this area. Feeding: Nothing to record. Smell: Getting more intense, but still very subtle. Still behind #3 Temps and RH recorded today: 28c - 21c 64% - 36% Pests and plagues: Nothing to record.
