The buds are really starting to pumping up and the smell too. She developed long branches during the stretch. She demands a lot of water as the 11 liter pot should be full of solid roots. Two weeks from now i Will start using the ripen as a booster instead of nutrients. 4 weeks to go

Not much to say this week, plants are still stretching, buds are starting to form. Great structure and strength.

Welcome to my MilkyWay F1 Auto Diary, Untopped VS topped. Results are in. Days 71-82 ripening 0-13 week 11&12 Went well. She did bulk up a tad. But not much. They spent most their lives under a 100w. But, the bud is really dense all over. No larf, at all. Its a really good quality of bud I'm getting from both phenos. As far as ToppedVsUntopped well, that result is in. With a seeds used from the same pack (same parent) making true F1s as they need to be from the same batch. It why we all got different phenos, and those who ran more than 1, from their seeds, the phenos are very close. One of mine had more of a fade and looks more purple. Both smell very lovely & fruity. Nice trichome production with very dense but, rather small buds if I do say so. But the grade itself is very high. (As grade is not rated on size) overall both turned out very similar. Even fade wise, they've both developed a lovely colour finishing under high co2 environment with the SE5000 really has brought out a lot of fade i normally do not get. look at the start. It was only a few days under this light and the past 14 days they've both popped. I will also say. A lot of their life was spent under a 12-12 (3/5s of flowering). Topped VS Untopped pheno 2 & 1 Are very similar as I've stated this area will be filt in with harvest comments. Bud smell. How the dry went. And after a weeks cure. I'll rate it. So watch this space. These 2 phenos have been on just water for 10 days. I did a quick run off test. Got back 145ppm my tap is 110. So, they're good to go. Trichome wise. 95% cloudy 30-35% amber. (Hard to see, I'll try get pics with my scope) but, as you see. Both are fully ripened. Anymore and its just bud deg. Both plants leaves are showing end of life. Some are dying. (I'VE BEEN WATCHING THESE LEAVES AND SEEN THEY'VE BEEN DEAINED, ITS NOT BR) Lights The SE5000 was used for the Ripening phase. With high temps and co2 i pushed my boundaries and got a lovely fade reaction from doing so. How I know its down to this light as I've put my Runtz under it. And as soon as I did. It developed fade. My Frosted G even started getting light purple on its sides. The temp in tent has been pushed to 31-33c (that's not leaf temp as I've fans blowing on my plants, and that lowers surface temps by a few degrees.) They've been on 17hrs of high powered light. At 25-30cm id no choice. My temps are mad high this time of year. Harvested Both plants are been pult they're getting their last few hrs. You'll then see the last few pics in a few hrs. I'll get bud shots later, smoke reviews and then to be fair. I'll then mark it by the GD rating system. As I do with all my strains. (So I've 2-3 wk delay in my diaries as they're Harvested, mostly) both plants I'll try push them as far as I can through the drying process whole. But, as I'm dealing with high temps. Lower RH and a fastercl dry is pref to a longer dry in hot conditions might not make sense, but 30+ hot weather harvests, I've got this down. Mind you only this round all my other hot harvests some took a few weeks to rid the hay smell. This avoids it and locks in potency. Most of the drying is done by leaving the plant in the substrate just before the plant goes for itself for fluids. 4-5 day dry as opposed to 5-6 day dry with weed that loses half its stenght. (dry harvesting look it up) Thanks to James from RQS, although I know everyone and their sister got the offer for these seeds I am defo going to be trying more from RQS, if it's buying. I'll get round to it, and depending on the quality of smoke it might be soon. If its a real nice auto, I'd love to try a fem of theirs for my winter crop in October. But, that'll depend. I've lots I want to buy & try.. and when favs are found. I'll invest. I would like to thank everybody for the activity this diary has gotten. Its possibly one of my most active diaries I've done without a harvest. And that's in no short means down to all the views and likes from you guys. And for sure I will fully complete it, with results on the smoke Quality from both phenos, if it varies, but, results thus far, structure wise they're shockingly similar. Scary so. Topping has very little affect to the structure. She grew a main cola. But both phenos, turned puples I will say the topped one was a more troublesome plant. Maybe that had a role onin its morphology. And maybe it'll affect the bud also. The topped was more demanding nutrient wise, and drank more. Maybe to support a more even bud load. (I've yet to do a through inspection, but on the VS front, it's kinda in the air about quality, structure wise, it had very little difference. Look for yourself at the heights are 3-4cm dif) lots still to come. And I'll update it soon with more results. Buds are super dense, like rock hard no PGR tho, new note in my books, dense buds can definitely exist without PGR's. Leafs are bleaching, trichomes are not ripening tho all clear. Buds smell like that Hubbabubba pink bubblegum! parent genetic Hubbabubba Haze is definitely comming trough! Top Buds are turning purple due to the intense light, same as every branch that hast direct light blasted on it, the shaded side doesn't. No Light readings from now on since I don't change anything and the plants aren't gaining size anymore, it stays the same. Values are average of the day. Really nice plant. Very strong smell, Well THC coated buds and very nice effects. Lovely.

All good and looking happy. Started some LST. I was undecided if I was going to train these girls but decided to do it. I gave a 1/4 feeding of Advanced Nutrients Sensi Cal Mag extra. Now that I've had a good watering schedule down with slight dry back they have been surging with growth! One starting to flower fast and the other is right behind it.

7/1/23 - Day 19 I do water changes weekly. The new weeks start off with a water change. Water changes always scare me, it's the mixing of nutes and balancing the PH. It sounds easy in theory but in practice you want to interfere with the PH asap. But I was able to let the LEAF box empty the water, I filled it up with RO water, LEAF then dosed all my nutes. After that i came in a PH balanced it. (PH balance is something LEAF will be able to do, but there was a bug in the software so instead of having LEAF dose the PH i decided to do it manually for now. The Roots are INSANE! I bet by time I'm done there will be 1+ gallons of water displaced by the roots. I almost started cutting her lower leaves at the base, but I decided to let them grow for a bit. If they grow out some more i will be able to scrogg them and then cut the leaves below after they are trained up a bit. The lights have kicked on and everything looks in order. The plant looks great too, she might be in a small amount of WTF because of all the PH changes but i think the drastic changes were kept to a minimum. She looks happy. As always ill update you tomorrow. 7/3/23 - Day 21- I trimmed some of the lower leaves on the bottom, I'm leaving her bushy still, I won't want to cut any more branches if I can, I need the branches from the bottom to reach the sides of the Scrogg net. In the next couple of days being apple to Scrogg and stretch her while Shes still moldable. 7/5/23 - Day 23 - I added some training lines to some of the branches. I need them to be as spread out as possible going into the Scrogg net. I'm a big fan of not trimming too much as she grows. I don't mind there being some foliage down below. I will cut as needed if it looks like the lower areas are sprouting too much of the little leaves, but for the most part, I let nature do its thing. She's drinking a ton of water now. I am getting my RO water dropped off by the five gal loads. I just got the membrane for my RO150 unit that I plan on having up and running within a couple of weeks so I can start making my own water. 7/6/23 - Day 24 - I added a picture of my RO water setup. It cannot be set up permanently, so this was a great solution. You can see how I was able to tie my branches down, next time I will drill a few holes on the side of the pot. This is a great solution for anyone looking to Scrogg and manage the vertical height. Also, you can see on the top branch there was some pulling, so much so that it started to pull the plant and it created a small lump. All good but just goes to show how pliable these plants are. SoCal Outdoor, 3.9g Autopots, coco, jacks RO Blue Gelato 41 is in week 3 of flower and still stretching. The plants range from 68-78 inches tall with thick 2” trunks. Two months old, unbelievable….. 3.9 gallon pots. Defoliated the plants twice this week to promote lollipoping and airflow. Little signs of nute stress as I added some koolbloom to punch the PK up. No pests, but the caterpillars 🐛 are definitely gonna show in a few weeks for sure. The Autopots are holding up pretty well. But I think the 3.9g pots will stunt the gelatos growth possibilities. My runtz is in a 15g fabric pot stuffed into an Autopot XXL and although it was about 6”tall 4 weeks ago - it is almost as big as the gelatos and growing faster every day. I have to move these to my secret spot and get them out of sight before they start stinking. Next, I’m gonna have to net them to keep the caterpillars out.

Topped lil missy, leaves turning a bit yellow, we'll see how that works out. Didn't change anything in her feeding schedule so far. I'll try getting her in better shape 🤞🤞🤞

A week of wonder watching all the bud sites emerge. Lots of training keeping leaves under not blocking areas. Now can see the benefit hopefully soon to be flowering in bloom.

The Future #1 strain took to germination right away, was very flexible, and worked very good for SCROG. It produced heavy buds that are beautiful. Teh strain started very strong and grew excellent. The flowers was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. I had some pH issues with my water supply which impacted the grow and this strain seemed to be more light sensitive compared to another Anesia strain right next to it. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of this plant were HUGE!!!! Wet weight - 58.8 oz prior to trim; 14 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Amber - 30% After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. Dry weights into jars: Future #1: 9.06oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked (+70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In: 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

overall girls are doing good it seems like the small one has stopped gaining mass and converted all energy to the trichomes the bigger one is gaining bigger and bigger.. so great times!

Defoliated and flipped to 12/12 Slight stretch. Plants didn’t like that I only gave them half veg nutes and half bloom. They look nitrogen deficient. They’ve also shown some calcium deficiency i believe. The uprising foundation is cal mag and sulfur mostly I believe. So it’s good to have
