Well, what can I say. Actual autos. That are true F1s and topped vs Untopped I can say I did have differences in both phenos. But for size, bud density and so on. It's very hard to tell which is different. The Untopped had a more powerful punch to it taste wise which I'll get to. The buds if were given to someone wouldn't be able to tell them apart.
Another difference was weight from harvest. Got 30% more on the umtopped version.
Got 69 g from the untopped and 101 the topped. But, quantity id much prefer as there was very little difference in bud, I could tell the topped was more pungent and potent. But, not by much. And only if id not of known them apart. I'd not of known the difference. So really is there a difference..
So, yes, untopped wins i think.

Nutrients
Good start. Didn't really use much. But, I'll rate them as they didn't harm
Excellent nutrition that helps the plant take up pk and Excellent quality they bring to my crop as you can see. Lovely fade superb ad to taste.
Worked really well. Great micro and marco pair. Added with great enzymes they worked a treat. You don't use a lot to make the EC value 6-800 like .5ml per l. The micro has everything and bid strongly advise it to ppl who used the RO water (0EC water) Has everything micro nutrient in it that water has. So, very good.
Worked great, very potent. So be careful. Mix 1ml with 100ml of water. And then you'll be able to apply to your nutrient mix without running the risk of adding to much.
These i used later and throughout grow and they for sure gave my plants exceptional taste and quality/quantity to my 2 F1s
I've actually invested heavy into these for my winter grows going on now.
They really didn't do great in 35c heat.. but to be fair when dealing with that heat. No enzyme wouldn't go bad. And are usable in high heat environments, just not in a co2 environment. I didn't expect to have a tent that hot and it wasn't sealed neither.
I'm sure they added to the taste..
They didn't hurt. I for sure am gonna give this a clone test against slSugar Royal
Got 2 good plants. 1 had 20% more weight (untopped) and the topped had a more pungent flavour profile but not by much. Got a really nice bud quality & quantity from both F1s and they actually were very similar and grew them under as close to each others environment and what they got i mirrored and except for topping and not i defoliation was done the same way. 14 plants were done under my 1m2 tent. Thats 35watts a plant a full power but as I only went to 85 max id day 25-30watts each.

@Breadandbuds, Yeah, I mes them also. As my understanding where F1s were FF photos. They sent me something explaining what they mean. It's just a cross of less strains, even a more stable pheno. I think. I read it couple wks back lol, and my mind blank

My next thing is getting a veg tent sorted. I've got my old 4x4 still I've also got a ts1000 I just need the space lol. Only thing I'd need to buy to set it up would be a wee extractor.

@gottagrowsometime, that's my main reason for making the switch to fems this run, I've done auto runs I've been happy with got what i thought was a decent yield, but then I'd end up getting an ounce each from 3 that took 14 weeks also lol. I've germinated, gg sherbet, gg cookies and tropicana cookies, all 3 are the fast buds FFs. See how this one goes. I'll be adding the uv/ir light in soon also, just need to buy one first lol.

@Aldo90, yeah, a veggie tent is a must. In saying that. Soon, she'll be rocking a 300w or I might just add another 100w as my 100cm2 is flowering fems and is only running at barely 14hrs a day. Frosted G is already flipped. The p1000 puts out enough ppfd to finish her. But, not for the whole tent I'll need 2. Have to think on it. Will the yield of 4 autos be enough for the cost of running it. I'm not sure.

Is a good test iam doing to on Purple Pung OG, is fresh and good to know to understand how a plant respond to the topping and let know to other grower. If I were a breeder I would insert this indication on the response to the topping in the data sheet

@Breadandbuds, I fully agree with you. As some breeders autos do really well when topped, have to get it in and hopefully you'll get min another 2 weeks of veg. Fastbuds take well to a top. But 3 times I done it to dutch-passion and they turned out small.
Look forward to seeing the results. I just topped pheno 1, have to get her uppoted to her next pot. Have done it in a way, I can push my 2 hands down and cup it to pull it up. Hopefully won't be too much stress. Both will have to go through this. Gonna make it as even as I can. I know you can't get results , well results you can say for sure it'll work everytime. But, as these are meant to give a more equally grown crop. They are more or less in at the same stage, pheno 1&2 when you look bk over the days, they more or less match.
