Plant has been getting straight pH balanced water this last week and minimal nutes. It is showing some slight nute burn so I let off a bit and raised the light canopy about 6”. I discovered that what I thought was a calcium or potassium deficiency was actually a rookie grower error by me. I have an RO system that I use to water all my strains in the grow room including this one, but when adding nutes to the water, it takes too long so I had been filling them up with well water. When I had originally tested the well water, I must had used a faulty testing agent as after testing it this last week, I was showing a pH of 7.5 vs. my RO of 6.2. Thus, every time I was adding nutes (multiple times a week) I was significantly fluctuating the pH between regular feedings and nutrient additions. To make matters worse, when I originally thought it was nute burn, I flushed each plant with well water and likely caused additional stress. Anyway, I have since learned that the well water needs to be treated, I only utilize RO water the last few days and plan to do so over this next week. Also, I have turned off the CO2 system as I was starting to see signs of heat stress on a couple of the strains (Plant #1). The literature I have reviewed suggested that these strains might be able to handle heat closer to 90F but it was also causing issues with high humidity so when I added a dehumidifier, it pushed the day temp to between 90-92F and the overnight temps were not getting low enough (maybe 85F or so). Maybe I could leave out the dehumidifier, but I was getting rH of 70% and didn’t want to risk any bud rot or mildew growth. So for now, I have turned off the CO2 and am getting high temps of 81F with 60% humidity and overnight temps of 74F and 50% humidity. Plant #1 had some heat related curling of leaves as well as some of the lower leaves showing impact of the pH fluctuations. My hope is we will be steady until harvest. Plant #2 has shown the least signs of stress and is fattening up its buds very nicely. Late in the week, some of the leaves started turning brown from the pH issue but my hope is that with RO water only, we will be on the right track. Over the next few weeks I will start monitoring the trichomes for a nice milky color for harvesting.

Harvested 1 plant. Still have the bigger 2 to fatten up a bit more. I’m guessing another 2 weeks before they are ready. Just a waiting game now. Plant 1 seems to be drying nicely. Looking forward to getting the cure on and bringing them terpenes out.

🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

Hey growers I hope your all well ✌️ SHOULD I FLIP??? These girls are nearly 50cm and the one girl is around 35cm, I'm going too continue veg for 1-2 weeks longer and scrog in the meantime too gold back the 2 taller girl. These girls are plodding into week 7 now so they are ready too flip but will see how my grow question goes before switching too 12/12 👌 They are happy and healthy and doing well under the shogun nutrients! I have defoliate the odd top fan leaf too allow better air circulation. We have very high heat atm but hopefully they uptake more 😉😅 Happy growing 🌱💚

Day 43. Still seems to be stretching. Minor defoliation, general Hydroponics maxigro every other watering til 15% runoff. Day 47. Chunking up nicely. All 3 of my fastbuds plants are awesome.

The Number's; Started with; 564g Wet on the Scale Finished with; 263g Dried Flower. Plus some Pollen for a Personal project.. IMO; Definitely decent yields for a pheno hunt. Week 12 looks girl #1 is coming to a end. I haven’t over fed or over watered and she’s starting to get yellow leaves. I feed her one more time at the end of this week. Starting week 13 I’m going to start to flush her. Her smell has gotten more intense this week also. She smells like sweet tropical citrus. Also she looks to be filling in more and her buds are starting to get a little dense. She definitely exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t have predicted from veg she would be this size. Girl#2 unfortunately never started flower and she’s going get 12-12 after I harvest girl #1. I’ll start another diary for girl #2 when that time comes. I knew she would be long winded but this is just extreme 😂. I know you experienced growers know this story very well, but for a rookie like me 😆 I’m pulling my hair out and punching the air with frustration 👊🤬🤯😁. This for me is a learning experience and I love the duality of this grow. I’ll know better next time I run into this time of issue. Thank you for viewing my diary. Day 32 flower update they smell amazing and are starting to fatten up...we're lookin at 60-70 say harvest time recommend by the breeders for all these strains
