🌸 Week 3 Flower – Growing Strong, Tall, and Vibrant! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! It’s already Week 3 in flower, and I’m thrilled to bring you this update because these plants are doing phenomenally well! Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. The #2 plant has the most developed flowers of the three, with the other two just really starting to build their flowers beyond just a few scattered pistils. I'm continuing with daily monitoring of the AirCube reservoir, checking/adjusting ph and topping off with straight water. The solution strength in the reservoir is still hitting 650ppm but is starting to get discolored so I'll be doing a drain/refill in the next 48hrs before it gets funky. 11/17- Today I drained the reservoir and refilled it with straight well water that has a .3 EC(100ppm) to which I added Plagron's Cocos 'A' and 'B' in equal amounts, Green Sensation, and Royal Rush at 1ml/L and 2ml/L respectively. I also added the last dose of silica, then ph'd the solution to 5.7 @ 69℉. I also went through all three plants, adjusting their LST and tucking a few leaves that were blocking light. 11/19- The Strawberry Gorilla's are all progressing nicely into flower, and are all looking healthy. They are all starting to really form their flowers now and are all about equal in height. The #2 plant continues to be the one to watch as she's really going strong and has great structure and vigor. 11/21- There's two weeks of flower behind the Strawberry Gorilla's with the #2 by far in the lead. The other two continue to do well and are progressing through flower nicely, and will be catching up to the #2 rapidly. Between the three plants I'm sure they'll be completely covering their side of the 4x4! I'll be doing a drain/clean/refill on the AirCube reservoir tomorrow to give the girls a fresh dose of nutrients. Hope to see you next week. TDS meter went bad so my reads are off (low), but until I replace it... Starting LST today, unfortunately the main topped branchs on Gelato #2 split down the middle, I have taped up hopefully to heal. All plants have been topped twice hope to flip in a couple weeks.

Day 1 flower lights on 100% 640w draw. Felt amazing inside right when I unzipped the tent, I wanted to chill in the tropical climate. I will still continue to add humic, organic booster, to water. Now along with 1/2 tbsp of soluble PK (bluesky organics FLOWER2). This will bring my natural ph to 6.5ish bringing it down without the need for "ph down" in solution. I will try to get into Dr. Thunder today and remove some more foliage of what I couldn't reach last night. day5 video, showing off custom spectrum. CW, NW, R on 100%, UVA and IR off. IR will make things stretch more, UVA is off because no trics yet. I added a lot of 7month old coffee grounds I've been saving for N boost, then finding out I had 17-0-0 blood meal. I also started to add very little soluble PK into 5 gal along with normal watering ingredients, like always. I am verry happy with things are until day 19-21 where defoliation again.

Week 11: Pineapple Poison - The Neverending Leafpocalypse! ☔️✂️ Yo growmies! Mother Nature decided to play catch-up with the rain this week, and let me tell you, the Pineapple Poison took full advantage! Over 20mm of rain in seven days, and this girl exploded like a popcorn kernel in a microwave! We're officially at 138cm now, which is basically towering over my raised bed. It wasn't just height, though. New shoots and leaves popped up like green confetti. So, guess who spent most of the weekend playing hairdresser again? This gal! It was a mainlining marathon. As Bobolancetti put it wisely in the comments: we need to start thinking support for those colossal colas. Less foliage also means better wind resistance, which is crucial here in Brandenburg, land of the giant wind turbines. We can't have our Pineapple Princess getting blown over by a rogue gust! The only thing missing? Flowering. Still nowhere to be seen. *insert cricket noise* Listen, this growth spurt is awesome, but the weekly deleafing routine is getting a little…well, lengthy. My arms are feeling it! Maybe next week, the flowering fairy will finally take pity on us and get this party started? A girl can dream…. Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Hi! Well they are getting nice maturing buds getting bigger and all good. I love the red colour of the Red Hot Cookies. Unfortunately, Tropicanna Poison and Red Mandarnine does not show any signs of purple or red colour. Kalini Asia neither albeit, the bonsai version gets purple. Gelato is little beauty. So yes, basically not much to say. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the ratio and mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

Hello growers, I haven't shown you my plants for three weeks, I'm ashamed, I don't know what they are like, I let one dry and it weighs 5.68g, which is ridiculous... The second is still blooming and I have the impression that nothing will happen to it. .

This new week started better as with some flushes I brought the runoff back to 6.5/7, the plant seems to be growing well

Sadly, Amnesia was a hermaphrodite. She was immediately removed from the tent.

Sweet mother of god! What a beautiful plant! Now I finally know what it means to grow US genetics. Sherbinskis in collab with Sensi Seeds has made some uniquely beautiful plant. She's dark, almost black, she's extremely good looking, and frankly I didn't expect the plant to look as good as the advertisement photographs but here she is! As beautiful as it can get! I've pushed my photography skills again and god damn, it was worth it. I don't know if any other plant has been this photogenic! The yield is great, as expected from a extra longer veg period. The smell is off the hooks! Please, have a closer look at all the photographs, there are soooooo many gems that should be able to win dozens of contest IN MY OPINION XD PS: Hopefully I'll grab your attention with these bomb ass macro shots!!!!! Noticed a small issue that looks like magnesium deficiency so use full dose of Sensi cal at 1ml/L. Some small interveinal yellowing starting around the leaf margins on a couple of fan leaves below the tops. Cal Mag fed via tank and foliar feed. The issue I have found could also be down to the small dose of pk13/14 added to the nutrient tank slightly early (Early last week) causing a lockout. Used the pk booster again this week but still added less than the recommended dose to avoid any issues. Hoping the buds start to fatten this week 😀 Using hydro is causing my humidity to stay up so I will need to find a way of lowering it this week. Ppfd 700-1000. Ppm 1200. PH 6.0.
