Thank you. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function. I am playing in the enchanted forest.

01/03/22 Watered plants 2L of nutrient water each , assessed plants to determine what LST I'm doing, looks like these plants have potential to be monsters. Let's hope I don't fuck it up now. 01/01/22 Topped and defoliation was done, didn't water that day even though they needed it I wanted to give them a day or two from the stress they went through, watching to make sure they didn't wilt. Its paying of not listening to my ocd mind thinking I need to do something everyday, I didn't even want to top them, but they where looking very kushy type of plant. And I have trellis going in later two tiers. 01/08/22 Did a full water threw tested run off , it's sitting 800ppm above what I'm feeding, next watering straight 6.0ph water. Lights at 💯%

Buds are taking off , their joining up on the main stems , the plants are around 2.5 ft tall ,the one at the back right has a tolly different growth pattern ,and leaning more on the indica side ,the other two are show their sativa side more , all fattening up , stems too .

This orange cookie is a shining example of dutchfem genetics , I do the same thing in the same conditions every time and dutchfem plants come out on top every time . Massive yields , chunky phatness, and solid handling all sort of conditions. I’ve had low temps of 8c and a heatwave of 40c and she’s handled everything thrown at her and continues to pile on the weight. A few weeks to go still and I’m happy as with what’s coming, she’s got this citrus tone and a cookie sweetness to her already. I clipped a few lower buds off for a preview in a few days ( not that you could notice, she’s huuge) . Keeping the feeds up and gearing up for a mad harvest.

Der Steckling aus dem Garten Eden hat in der ersten Blüte Woche ein Wachstumsschub von fast 30 cm hingelegt. Ich habe einen Blüte Dünger auf in Salz Form benutzt. Ich hoffe ich habe mir meine Boden nicht kaputt gemacht. Durch den Einsatz von Klimaanlage und Entfeuchter hab ich sehr stabile Werte die sich konstant halten. Ich möchte mich in diesem Durchgang auf maximale Hartz Produktion und Erhalt fokussieren. Welche Tipps habt ihr für mich die ihr schon getestet habt?

los cogollos estan engordando y el olor ha aumentado tanto que me toco poner el filtro de carbon activo. Hubo un pequeño exceso y regue un par de dias solo con agua de osmosis ec 0,17 y ph 6

Sorry I didn't do updates in flowering. This was the smallest plant in my 4 plant run. Plus I had to turn the light way down to preserve the profile of the others that were getting in the lights. So it didn't get to grow to its full potential. Smell like a sweet, earthy, herbal smell. It's not my best grow, but it will be a nice sample of it for sure. Cookies and Cream auto is looking good. She had a slight leaf deformity when she got solution on her roots too soon. It was a pinch strong for her. She has already grown into it, and roots are looking good. I was experimenting with putting the rock wool on one side to get the roots to the solution sooner. Day 89 starting to fade quick up top , getting close ,will start pulling yellows leafs off over the next few days Day 90 few Trichomes shots,I'm to shaky to get decent ones 😅they the best of a bad bunch , she's basically done so won't be adding another week day 93 chopped today was a rough harvest 😅 only had a steak knife ,stem was to thick for my secateurs She's around 3-3.5kg wet whole plant , don't have the right scales for accuracy,,will do harvest diary when all dried and trimmed

Day 64, 12.06.2024 Today marks the start of week 10. I just saw that some of the leafs of Erika I are clawing upwards. I double checked the light distance to the canope which seems to be fine at around 30cm. I watered yesterday. As over watering might be the culprit as well I will watch closely wether it gets better during the next 24h. However, as we are approaching the finishing line I will not put too much effort in this issue. Day 65, 13.06.2024 Another round of drinks is about to be served. As Erika I is tacoing (edges of the leafs are facing towards the light) I went into analysis: It could be a) lights: after checking the distance again I an rule that out. Also the other plant does not show any clawing symptoms. b) underwatering: I gave 500ml extra water yesterday in the morning in hopes of recovery by afternoon. But no sign of relaxation so I ruled out that as well. c) overwatering: hard to believe as I only water 15% of the pot volume every other day and there is no drain d) over fertilization: Thats a point - I gave both plants the exact same amount of nutrition during grow. I think this plant might have had enough for a while. Because of d) I decided to not give Erika I any fertilizers today (she also did not show signs of low nutrition in the past). However, I will water both and keep an eye on them. No reason for panic though I guess. Also: Being on the final lap towards harvest I recognized quite a lot of the pistils are getting orange. I would say currently over all buds around 50-60% of the pistils are orange. I will wait until ~90% of them are orange and then take a look at the trichomes, where I aim for 80/20 ratio (cloudy to amber). Day 66, 14.06.2024 No action today. Day 67, 15.06.2024 Today I will water and feed again - providing 4/4/4 Grow/Bloom/TopMax + 1,2ml CalMag to Erika II. For Erika I I am still waiting for the leafs to un-taco - but until now there is no sign of it. This is the last official week with nutrients anyway so maybe Erika I already had her last meal, but without realizing 😂 Tacoing did not went away. Didn't really change at all actually. So they both get water & nutes. Next time I might skip nutes on Erika I. Amount of water: ~600ml each Day 68, 16.06.2024 No action on the plants today. Revised my timing and plans: - BioBizz nutrient schedule is made for roughly 10 weeks of flowering with flushing instructions on the second to last week and harvest on the last week - assuming the Erikas started flowering in their 3rd week that leaves me with facing the 8th flowering week up (which is also the last week they should get nutrition) right ahead - Decision: will give them 3 times nutrients over the next 1 week. Then I will stop giving them nutrients and start flushing every other day (water then until water comes out below the pots). - I assume/hope I will flush for at least one week until it is time for harvest This period of the grow is unexpectedly exciting! I do not have any experience from other grows but until now I think it went quite good. There were no pests, no big time nutrient deficiencies, etc. and the buds look big and firm (at least from what I can tell anyway). Day 69, 17.06.2024 - A round of drinks to the ladies: The usual 4/4/4 Grow/Bloom/TopMax in 600ml of water each. Will NOT skip nutes on Erika I. - Humidity is starting to pose a problem again: During night time the humidity does not go below 68% for 6 hours. I surely hope this is not a problem - but I do not have any other choice: there is high humidity currently outside (lots of rain & warm weather). I will hope for the best I guess. - removed 3 more leafs Day 70, 18.06.2024 No action today but to experience high humidity (~69%) without being able to do something about that 😢 This concludes week 10. The breeder states this strain is ready for harvest after 11 weeks. Well.. I guess I am about to find out.

Well she has made day 42. I have been adding and moving some bud clips around on her. I have also been twisting and bending the stems. She only had 1 good watering in the past 7 days.
