Am Samstag habe ich die ersten unteren Triebe entfernt, die sowieso kaum Licht bekommen hätten und später wahrscheinlich nur unnötig Energie gezogen hätten. Dadurch kommt jetzt deutlich mehr Luft an den Bodenbereich und die Pflanze kann sich besser auf die stärkeren Haupttriebe konzentrieren. Danach gab’s nochmal ungefähr 2 Liter Wasser. Am Sonntag wurde dann das Blumat-System installiert und auch endlich das Grownetz fürs spätere Scroggen eingesetzt. Damit steht das Setup jetzt erstmal komplett und die Pflanze kann sich langsam über die Fläche ausbreiten. Von Montag bis Freitag habe ich dann bewusst fast gar nichts mehr gemacht, außer die Erde leicht feucht zu halten. Kein großes Eingreifen mehr, einfach der Pflanze ihren Raum geben und wachsen lassen. Die Utopia entwickelt sich weiter stabil, wächst sichtbar und wirkt mittlerweile deutlich entspannter im Beet. Jetzt beginnt langsam die Phase, in der sie anfängt richtig Fläche aufzubauen und sich aufs Scrog vorzubereiten

Repotted into 20L pots. Accidentally snapped a stem while using plant bends but she will recover nicely so not to worry. Again not enough pictures/videos in early veg unfortunately. EC also upped slightly.

The plants grow well in the first week I had 100% germination in the seeds, for a first-time sailor I'm happy. I added the humidifier to keep the humidity at 65%. Now in the second week I increased the quantity of fertilizers but always following the supplier's table and the plants seem to be enjoying their food.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. D97 F50: what a week!!! I can't believe it, the plants are more and more fragrant, the flowers are bigger and bigger... I expected less than that! I started the flush with simple osmosis water, corrected with a PH of 6.1! I managed to increase the EC from 2.1 to 1.3, with about 4 liters per plant!! I was able to remove the excess water in the tank using a pump! I'm aiming for an EC between 0.1 and 0.5 for half of week 9, before letting them dry on the foot. In any case, there are fewer seeds in my flowers than I thought, I tried to remove a few seeds with tweezers, it worked for a few plants but the code red #1 didn't like it... some pieces of flowers dried a little and some trichromes matured faster!! I'm not touching anything anymore smells: Papaya Bang Bang #1: smells of exotic fruit candies, especially papaya, very deep and addictive!! a banger LA Vanilla cake #2: smell of gas with ripe fruits, very cali gelato Papaya bang bang #2: smell of exotic fruits on a very earthy background, a little og, it's not really what I was looking for but it looks interesting! The phenotypes of the two plants now show another clear difference. The plant on the left has developed two equally large, beautiful main stems and is small and bushy, as I would expect from an OG Kush or an Indica. The plant on the right has put on another extreme stretch during flowering, as you would expect from a Sativa. I therefore had to tie off the two main stems to prevent them from suffering burns at the top of the lamp. The buds are now clearly visible. The odor has increased significantly and is already very pungent in the third week of flowering. We did not fertilize this week but only added 10g BioEnhancer from GreenHouse Feeding to 1 liter of water.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend,. It was a good week for all five ladies. The Red Hot Cookies is slightly ahead of the Sundae Driver and Durban Nights. The Green Crack is the slowest growing so far, and the Sundae Driver has some holes in the leaves that I am thinking are from bugs, I have sprayed her twice with neem oil so far so we will see what happens. I topped all five ladies on day 23 above the third node as I am going to build mainlines out of all of them. I am still not able to list my nutrients for some reason, but I am feeding with all GH, Silica, Cal Mag, and Maxi Grow at an EC of 1.2 and a ph between 5.5 and 6.5. I use an auto feeding reservoir with halo feeders set on a timer to feed every 5 hours for one minute. I am hoping to get the second toppings done sometime this week, and then the final toppings done the next, and then flip to flower around week 7 or so. I am still using this Spectrum X from Medic grow, and have it cranked up to about 50% power and they are seeming to love it. We are in the midst of hopefully the final heat wave of the year and I am looking forward to cooler temps and lower humidity by the time I flip to flower. Planted them in clear solo cups inside red ones with holes and bottoms cut. They sprouted after 3 days germination Date is sprout date. Super happy with these

Hello All. I took a lot of pictures. Hope you don't mine, but I had fun. I think everyone likes to see large harvest pictures. It all started back in early January when I took clones of my favorite plants. It was a cold winter here this year, for these parts. So it was mid March when I got the plants out in the greenhouse. The spring was damp and cold too. I found powdery mildew in the garden about 2 weeks before I found it in the greenhouse. I got it on the Skunkberry and the Burmberry, But not on either Amnesia Lemon or the Sister Amnesia Lemon. I was very pleased about that :) I found some spider mites in the last week and a half. I decided to turn up the fans instead of spray. Yes they still spread but very slowly when they can't spin their webs. I didn't find many when I harvested. Everything else went well this season. I found a male Dr. Atomic Northern Lights that I liked. So I'll try to make some seeds with the Amnesia Lemon, Skunkberry and the Burmberry. I'm trying to fatten up the Burmberry. I'm interested to see if the Amnesia Lemon gets fatter buds and carries the P.M. resistance to the seeds, I'm hoping. The tall Sister Amnesia lemon in the middle did cause a drop of production from the plants on either side of it. They were in more shade. Something to work on for next year :) The Skunkberry had the most P.M. I used a new produce that I'm pleased with, it's White Wash frequency altered water. Knocks the P.M. right out. I found that if you put a large tray under where you are spraying you can catch the run off. I could use it a couple of times with no change in effectiveness. It must be the Scottish in me. I try to reuse or recycle as much as possible. Cuts costs, and help make me feel like I'm doing good and helping the planet. My feeding schedule was: I had a 15 gallon half barrel and pump with hoses and nozzles. I filled the barrel with nutrient solution and watered by minuets, 15 for clod days and 25 or 30 minuets on hot days. After 3 or4 days I added water when the solution got low. Mixed new solution once a week, and cleaned the barrel and pump. I also took the hose in the greenhouse and soaked them till run off once a week and measured the ph. I saw a few fungus gnats, but the spiders and nematodes (from my compost I added when I mixed soil) sure help to keep the numbers down. I like to put my buds in a paper bag to dry and cure. Inside I hang the buds for 3 days before putting the buds in paper bags. But it was so hot in the green house that 2 days was more that enough before putting the buds in the paper bags. The bags sat in the greenhouse for 3 days and then went in to the basement to finish. The old hippies told me that they use to put their buds to cure in the middle of a bushel of straw. I seems that the drying buds gives off a gas, that when trapped around the buds helps to take away the bitterness and raunchiness' of the uncured buds. The bags also help in wicking away the moisture of the drying buds, just like the straw did. After a week I check to see if it is dry enough. If the buds are dense the bag might need to be rehung for a few days to finish. I prefer a dryer bud. I like to hear a light crunch when I put a bud in my pipe. I'm very happy with the results. I was concerned because I have 2 rental houses behind me and one of them had a big backyard party at my week 5 of flowering. You could smell the grow by then and I was hoping I wasn't going to get ripped off. I looked through the fence a few days later and saw about 12 large plant pots, growing cannabis. I'm very happy. My second hydro grow and it seems I failed a bit here: 1. Too little defoliation and airflow 2. More light to mid and lower branches. Low light and low airflow made the buds stretch a lot and be airy, not taking much light made them white and mostly tasteless (cardboard taste). Upper branches brings the sweet taste of this strain up but effects were quite low. Even thou the high is enjoyable and taste from upper buds are tolerable. Lower and mid buds gone to trash unfortunately. I'll stop for this Summer with Hydro, but will try my 3th time in winter

It grows very fast, I will use the 12/12 mode from tomorrow;) you can see a few spots on the leaves, but the problem has been eliminated. great home in AMS. I'm new, so I don't know a lot yet, but I have a very good teacher who, if I have any questions, very quickly advises me on how to deal with her:) thank you very much to my teacher :)
