So I finally got there in the end, here we have 3 x sherbert mimosa and 2 x gelato cake. Classing this as week 1 as I repotted today so this is what I'm using. Light = bloomplus bp2500 Exhaust is a ac infinity 6inch with digital controller Inkbird humidity controller with a ram 5l humidifier. Veg only! Soil= biobizz light mix Nutes= biobizz roots 1 week using the 10 week schedule at half dose this run. Ph= 6.4 Room humidity is 70% Temp is 28°c Happy growing guys 💪💚 Grown under the bloomplus bp2500 The 4 smaller ones are in light mix And the middle one is in all mix hence its got nute burn. I have fed them 4ml of biobizz roots to a litre of water. I made a 2l bottle to share between them at this point. Tomorrow I will start them with the following biobizz nutes as follows. 2ml per litre of fish shite 2ml per litre of bio heaven 2ml per litre of acti Vera 2ml per litre cal mag I mix the cal mag on its own and feed separately. I got a very cool time lapse video of this plant bouncing back from its topping/ mainlining. I haven't feed with any nutrients I've been focused on balancing PH and feeding the soil with microbes right now to support the roots. The plant seems very healthy and isn't telling me she wants nutes yet! I have 6 colas now but I might go for 10-12 im not sure yet! Im so excited about how she is growing and im hoping to cut a few clones from her to keep these good genetics! I have a ExHale Co2 bag in the tent its properly propagating and producing co2 at this point. It states that it supply up to 1500 ppms of C02 but I have no way to measure it. I place the bag at the bottom of my tent (because c02 is heavier than air). I have a box fan on low and no ventilation running in my tent. This is so I can maintain higher moisture levels in the tent and also because I don't really need ventilation these plants don't smell. By turning off the ventilation I have significantly higher moisture

Got everything hung up. Stripped the fan leaves and broke down into sections. Run 60/60 or as close as i can get until the stems snap.

Buds packing, the buds are quite long, the go to far below the canopy, plant is clearly loving th light. Do your own Microgrow with the Mars Hydro TS600 big buds for little bucks

Both plants make me supper happy!!

It was easy to harvest she was very small jut cut it quickly without stalks the wet weight is 17 g of the buds. Smell is like spicy lemonish smell. This site has changed can not update and edit the comment section. The smoke is nice it is kind of relax and strong high. Not the best but not even bad. I like it.

Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! I made a mistake by defoliating this strain too heavy. I made a diary of a clone From this plant that i also Now started flowering so if u want to see better results go look at it

🌸 Week 3 Flower — Bud stacking begins! 🌸 This week was a turning point — stretch finally slowed down and the plants are now fully focusing on bud formation. The tent started getting really humid due to the extra leaf mass and transpiration 🌿💦. That’s when I realized: a dehumidifier is a must. Without it, RH would climb over 70%, which is dangerous at this stage. Temperatures are still steady (27°C day / 20°C night), but now I’m working on dropping humidity to ~55–60% for safer flowering. Nutrient-wise, I reduced nitrogen even more, focusing on PK boosters and bloom nutrients. Bud sites are stacking nicely, pistils are shooting everywhere 🧡, and the first serious trichome production has started ✨. Mistakes from earlier (too much IR, uneven light distribution) are still visible on some plants, but overall the crop is healthy and vigorous. Next week should be the start of real frost explosion ❄️.

Overall this was good strain to grow and I would try it again on maybe an outdoor grow to see how big it gets. The bud structure could have been a little better and it wanted to bush out alot so maybe not the best for scrog. Seems like its a bit of a heavy feeder too and I may have went a little light on nutrients. It wasn't as dense as i thought is was going to be but that was most likely from my environment.

The gelato is obviusly a strain that develop large fat colas instead of long colas, she's very resinous. The smell Is pumping out and Is like a breeze that refresh my lungs every time i open the box. She doesnt need too much water. 3 weeks to go.

Will report back with a smoke report, but this thing smells incredible and budded extremely well. Didn't have much of any issues with pests. Got a BIG 4' plant from only super soil in a 5-gallon fabric pot. Tons of resin. Very impressed with these automatic genetics from Pride of the Lion Seeds... and I'll definitely be growing another one of them in the spring.
