Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. We continue forward and the flowers are looking beautiful. Battling pH issues and the drift in this tent is just crazy, especially since I barely have room to move her around to adjust her parameters. I need to not be lazy 😂 and do what needs to be done. She's got a funky grapes profile and berry smell that's getting more acrid as she ripens. From the amount of pistils she's still throwing, I'd say she's gonna be going for a while longer. These girls are busting out the seams. Giving them heroic doses of Calmag and molasses to finish the job off. I just did a Trichome check and we're at 5-10% amber so they are ready to be pulled. These photoperiod plants are ready in under 100 days. The smell is wildly pungent .. thankfully I have my exhaust venting outside for the whole world to enjoy ☮️🇨🇦

I have had a very nice journey growing her, she has given a great quality and quantity pf buds, very hard dense flowrs with a clasic strong amnesia smell that I enjoy a lot specially for the happy energetic buzz that provides you.

Flower has been very strong for growth. Cream 47 girls are getting thicker and praying hard everyday. The leaves are big and pointing up everyday. Further leaf strip this week to allow more light below. Nutrients are following the same for the most part this week. Big Bud doing its job and helping to swell the colas. Silica still added to keep strengthening her stems. Overall, stay the course this week and keep them happy. Oct 11/20, Day 23 - 4L - Rezin, Terpinator @ 2ml, Big Bud, B52 @ 1.5ml, CalMag, Sensi Bloom, Bud Candy @ 1ml - good amount of runoff from the pots. - water only next feed.....reminder😀 - had some higher heat levels yesterday at 86 degrees. The leaf strip is helping and down to 82 now. Oct 12/20, Day 24 - Light watering again today. - 3L with Enzymes @ 1ml = 25ppm and 5.6pH - Leaves are darkening up.....little concerning. - letting them do their thing. Oct 13/20, Day 25 - 3L - Rezin, B52 @ 2ml, CalMag @ 1ml = 400ppm and 6.1pH. (missed pH was 6.4…...added B52 to lower) - took a couple of lower branches from C47 girls. looking lovely. Although they still seem small. Not sure how long they will take to finish. They will probably shoot up once they get into the large air pots. Pretty happy with the progress so far though. Meaty main stems. Humidity isn't quite as high as I would like but it's a fair compromise with others flowering. As for superthrive. Does it work? Well I'm not seeing the explosive growth it promised in the root zone. But it's not really a fair trial as they've all had it.

This is by far my largest plant that’s flowering currently and I’m pretty sure it’s because it’s the only one in a 7 gallon pot at the moment! Anyway she is looking gorgeous and almost smelling worse than the other two ladies that are older than her! Man can’t wait until this finishes I can already taste the kushy/diesel goodness! Yum!..I also forgot that I have been using a half soil/half coco since I transplanted into 7gal so she’s had nothing but water and terpinator every other watering or so for the last 6-7weeks..thanks for reading!
