I was reading on someone else’s diary how their ph meter was not calibrated right. I feel I’ve been doing everything by the book but still burnt tip and leaf distress. I’m checking my ph meter today. I’m told also that the most mature plant looks to be ready for harvest. It’s really short but it smells like fruit loops or something and is frosty as hell.

Started LST on AG#5, transplanted to 5 gal pots on day 49 & hung Scorpion R-Spec dimmed to 200 watts. New Luko dehumidifier in place.

The plant has settled in now, and it's beginning to grow faster now. The stem isn't as thick as that from the Banana Kush Auto I grow parallel, but thanks to the added silica, super solid and rigid. LST doesn't seem like a great option, will probably try FIMing, or maybe Topping. I'll add photos later, that'll show the result of this decision process. UPDATE: I decided to FIM the Fat Monkey, to increase side branch production. ANOTHER UPDATE: I might've taken off a little too much when FIMing, which turns it into topping, I guess.

Welcome to my Royal Gorilla Diary This grow will join the RQS outdor grow contest at later time, I hope i get lucky and bugs won't eat it. After receiving contest box, i asked about germinating indoors, after confirmation i popped a seed in the soil. Germinated in pot indoors (gift pack was massive! see pics), after germination i put outdoor but i kinda forgot her. This one is growing together with a small tobacco plant to keep some unwanted insects away, i want to add some dill and coriander soon. So our royal gorilla is in her second week already, and she looks pretty healthy. Soil is reused soil with new fertilizers added to the soil. I'using a mixture of dried cow poop pellets and chicken poop pellets to give the soil some renewed power. Most of this is in the top layer of the soil (watering from above) so nutrients can be spread extra during watering. This should be enough for the first 6-7 weeks, so when the buds start to take shape we can start with adding some mineral nutrients in addition to the organic feeding.

Week 14, Flower (Day 57 12/12) Riding straight into week 8 now so this is when I expect her to put most of her weight on which is hard to believe considering colars are already falling over. Still filling the res up and just letting her do her thing. Smells are incredible! She is definitely going 10weeks minimum not a orange trichome in site and fresh flowers popping up. No more signs of bananas and she is happy I put her into slightly more dark and raised the lights a little as well. Now it's just ride it out for the next couple weeks.

I'm pretty confident it's not a PH issue at this point. Seems plants are rapidily soaking up the nutrients in the water. I also found 8 or 9 fan leaves with slight nutrient burn a few days ago. Nutrient burn seems to have tapered off and haven't noticed any spreading. Going to try adding an additional watering to the schedule to see what happens. I'm hesitant to mix stronger nutrients due to nutrient burn I started to see earlier this week. At the same time, need to figure out the cause of the nutrient deficiencies. I'm currently using the Light Feeding Schedule from Mills Nutrients (says "light", but is still 2.06 EC including 0.54 EC for water + CalMag) Need to switch to flower soon but need to figure out deficiency issues before the switch. Moved this week so mostly just fed them. Switched to just water.

Bending ULH1, and give her a dose of 1l: (3ml/l TopVeg+1ml/l Green Explosion) , after the Nutrients dose it got a little more darker. The broken leaves are being replaced by the new branches leaves, so the storm was just a little pain ... Vigorous mode: ON Watering ULH2: It is getting more colour :) . This little lady is putting out a bunch of resin. Sugar leaves alll over this squat little plant. Looks like Quick One is well named as I'm guessing she has 3 more weeks. Bumped up the Fox Farm Tiger Bloom slightly to see if that makes a difference as I have been on half strength all grow.
