Raspberry Cough and Candyland are sprinting out in front of the holy punch. They both seem stronger and denser. I’ll do a second run of the holy punch next grow to see if I can get a better outcome!

Finally time to chop off the second plant. Harvested just when about 5-10% of crystals have turned to ember color in an attempt to get the most upper effect out of this sativa. Noticed yet again some bugs on the leafs, luckily enough they only showed up in noticing numbers towards the end but ffs I'm getting tired of soil, especially after trying hydro. My main conclusion is that BioBizz soil is just not good to use as is, no matter what, it ends up not draining water well enough.

Was a good week. Both phenos have ripened nicely. Both harvested together, being done in the same pot. That's always a plus. Only added LemonPaya and will do Lemonmandrin in a few days. And update on drying of the bud. 9-12 days. The buds are super dense. Temp 19.5-20.5c RH 62-6

I cut feeding towards the end of week 8 , the plants could have easily gone for another week but at this point the tops were loosing all colour so I decided to harvest at the end of week 8. The trichomes were cloudy and clear with a few Amber.

no signs of pests during the grow. only one time i had ants trying to infest one plant but easily got rid of them by using cinnamon around the stem. she grows easy and is fun to train, you don't have to be an expert. in the late flowering i got some budrot in both plants and stalled the harvest by inspecting and cutting it away daily, haven't lost a lot due to it. i would recommend this strain as she is a high trichome producer, big yielder and easy to grow plant that gives nice buds with a good smell and greath high. she is a strain that makes you talkative, giggly and euphoric and is surely gonna give you a good sleep. be sure to go easy on her as she is a strong breed. an amazing strain to grow. she creates colourfull purple buds filled with trichomes that is really good for the chilling occasions, be sure not to have to go somewhere as she will last long and prepare for a joyfull evening with lots of laughing and good talks. i'll post more pictures after the drying process!

May 02 Entering preflower, I think I don't have much training time ahead but I'm sure I'll be able to get her even and clean. Some small branches are trying to pop out under the already 6-7 ones but I just can't get light on there, we'll see later on if I harvest in sequence! This won't be the most successful grow but it will have been a realllllyyy instructive one. Next one if there is soon will most likely give better result. So far, without being too harsh, I think she's doing great still. Might not be in the most perfect healthy state but it's not a big deal in the sense that she's still pretty happy right now and that's fine with me. From start she has been on 24 hour non stop and I don't see any problem with it. In any case you are sure to not halt her growth by doing so and each one of these led should consume about 6 watts. On 8 we get to a grand total of 48 watts which is very fine. Current light setup might have been upgraded to a potential increase in yield of 25 to 35 % I'd guess. But for the price I paid for all of this, it's very much worth it. Doubling the light setup would raise me to a 100 watts, and light coverage would be sufficient to grow 4 autoflower. Since I only have one plant I'm keeping it on the not too expensive side without sacrificing too much, but a third setup of 4 led with 2 reptile UV led would probably increase significantly the final quality and quantity. In any case, even tho I can say it has pained me to train her since she's so small and bushy, I would probably keep this strain around for sentimental reason, I really see value in life itself and this plant is part of mine, eheh. Good night guys. May 03 I think I can notice 4 pistils growing out of the main head. Magnification from camera. It took me another hour or so to train her but I think it's worth it. I'm at about 9 new heads that are getting a good amount of light, I don't know what will happen to the other smaller ones under these 9s, we'll see if they have time to produce anything ^^. Funny expectation, if the branch don't stretch a good inch from today to 4-5 days in the future, this is gonna be chaotic there xD. Aye aye, I'll be away from pretty girl for roughly 2 day. I gave her about 350 ML of water 2 days ago. Since she has shown minor sign of problems relating to soil ph, I gave her 1 part decarbonated Perrier with about 2.7 part neutral water. Perrier is made from source water which contain macro-nutrient essential to plants. It's PH is also officially cotted at 5.5. There is debates on whether or not carbonated Perrier would be beneficial to a plant, but here I choosed to play narrower. I'm still spraying her with water once in a while. I am progressively lowering the frequency since she is approaching flowering and I don't want the humidity level to raises to much, for any question just message me. Aight, guud night. May 05 Just came back, she need water, it's obvious to me since I know her grow rate which has been slower the past 2 day it seems, pot feel lighter and soil dry ^^. I'm a little bit sick and I just came back so I'll relax a bit and take care of her later tonight. I'll try giving her 600 ml of water this time, she's getting bigger and with flowering approaching I think it's time to look for a increase. Fan leafs did increase in volume from the newly trained branch, but it feel like she has been going at 75% of her speed, but it might also be her entering flowering phase so slowing her vegetative growth, I'll post more picture after training of her later tonight, good night ;) May 07 I have read somewhere that cannabis plant often go for a good stretch before the flowering really kick in and I think that's what she's heading for. I am quite satisfied with the current evenest of each tops, I am expecting the main branch to grow higher even tho she's pretty much equal for now. I think it's normal and as long as possible I'll pull her down from the need of light coverage but everything should be fine, I don't think there will be any problem with the light. I am really looking forward to see how high she will stretch. Ideally, I don't want her to grow too big, but I am very interested in the idea of her being full of tops. The bigger the branch, the better nutrient are delivered and if light is managed correctly, you'll end up with a bigger harvest, bigger colas. So far I gave her nutrient 1 time, she got nitrogen toxicity because the soil is in fact rich enough for pretty much the whole grow, when I bought my fertilizer I thought about the fact that autoflower grow pretty much all in one at the same time but with that soil, I should have gone for something more on the P and K side. I am considering buying a new small amount of fertilizer for cheap, that is better adapted to my need. I do have little worries about micro nutrients but I do believe I am stressing a bit for nothing. In worst case I'll just answer to her need which is totally fine. Have a nice day !

WEEK 5 (03/28/2021 - 04/03/2021) Day 38: 03/28/2021 Plants had their first feeding today. It’s been about 3 or 4 weeks giving them tap water only. With my ppm dropping in the soil, I thought now would be a good time. Leaving out the Cal-Mag this feeding. Tap water: 247ppm, pH 9.4, 70℉ Botanicare Hydroguard: 1ml/gallon = 3ml/3 gallons pH Down: 11.5ml Mixture: pH 5.6, 285ppm (+43ppm from pH solution) ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 858ppm/573ppm, pH 6.8 JB#2 - 857ppm/572ppm, pH 6.8 AP#1 - 984ppm/699ppm, pH 6.8 AP#2 - 1030ppm/745ppm, pH 6.9 GC#1 - 880ppm/595ppm, pH 7.0 GC#2 - 932ppm/647ppm, pH 6.9 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This week has been much more pleasant than the weeks prior. I believe my plants are finally getting acclimated to the medium and recovering from transplant shock. New growth is looking much healthier. Just as a preventative measure, I picked up some Botanicare Hydroguard to use in an attempt to supplement the roots and bring the pH of the soil down to where I want it. Personally, the pH remains just a tad too high for my liking this week. I would like it more in the range of 5.7-6.5 but I'll give it a week or so to see the reaction to the Hydroguard. I've continued with more LST on all but the Glookies #2. On this plant I simply did a topping. It was a risk, considering the plants isn't vibrantly healthy, but I need to maintain it's height. I also did a second topping to the American Pie #1. As can be observed from the photos, not all of the plants were shaped the same way. I got creative with the fabric pots and I decided to LST a few plants a little bit differently just to see which technique/style I liked the most. So far, I am digging the way the Jelly Bananen #1/#2 and American Pie #2 are shaping up. They are going to have a beautiful, wide canopy when they head into flower. I'm considering transplanting into 5 gallon fabric pots within the next week or two so I can flip them to flower two weeks later. My intuition is telling me this has been a pretty lengthy vegetative stage, thus far. I'm expecting all of my plants to double in size during the flowering stage, which should be anywhere between 65-70 days long. I made sure to select strains with similar flowering times (60-70 days). Thanks for stopping by this week. Please feel free to leave a comment or any tips/advice! Until next week! 🙏

Light fluffy bud, but so much of it that weight got up there in the end. Really soft smoke with some earthy textures and tastes. Less sweet smelling than the previous haze but has a lot more earthy, baking smell to it this one.

This week started with a milestone: transplant day. The little Purple Kush was ready to leave her starter pot behind and step into her first real home – a 3.5 L production container. Nothing extravagant, no decorative fabric pots or “Instagram gear.” Just a simple, practical setup with coco/perlite 70/30. Because here, it’s not about looks – it’s about results. To make the move stress-free, I used the “pot-in-pot” method. It’s as simple as it gets: place the small pot into the bigger one, fill around it, pull it out, and you’re left with a perfect socket. Then it’s just a matter of gently tapping the bottom, sliding the seedling out with the rootball intact, and dropping her straight into the new slot. No torn roots, no drama. The medium was freshly buffered and still moist, so I skipped watering. Instead, I let the roots dig in and claim their new space. And it worked – four days later, Purple Kush looked like nothing happened. Wide leaves, clean growth, zero signs of stress. Sometimes simplicity really is the secret. By the end of the week, two things caught my eye. The plant started stretching a bit – trading some stem thickness for vertical gain – and at the same time, it became clear just how much potential she holds. So I decided: no more waiting. It’s time to flip the switch. Next week, we go full rocket mode. Photoperiod stays at 16/8, but PPFD jumps to 750–800 µmol/m²/s. The environment remains steady: 28 °C by day, 18–21 °C by night, 60–65% RH. To close this week, I gave her the first proper feed: a balanced mix with potassium at about twice the nitrogen, phosphorus kept lean, K boosted with potassium sulfate, plus 1 ml/L of Canna MONO for micros. Final numbers: EC 1.1, pH 5.8. A soft intro. The next irrigations? Pure rocket fuel. Purple Kush is settled in, comfortable, and about to be pushed. The goal is simple: take this tiny setup and squeeze out maximum performance. Technical Focus: Stage: BBCH 12–14 (first to third true leaves). Environment: 28 °C day / 18–21 °C night, 60–65% RH. Light: Photoperiod 16/8, PPFD ramped up to 750–800 µmol/m²/s. Medium: Coco/perlite 70/30, freshly buffered. Pot size: 3.5 L production container. Fertigation: EC 1.1, pH 5.8. K:N ratio ~2:1, light starter feed with potassium sulfate + Canna MONO micros. Focus: Smooth transplant → root expansion → prep for accelerated veg under higher light intensity.
