Week 12: Pineapple Poison - Flower Power & A Towering Princess Emerges! Yo growmies! Flowering watch is officially over, and guess what? The Pineapple Poison is throwing a bud party! We spotted the first signs last week - tiny white hairs like a shy hello from the flowering fairies. This week, those hairs are getting bolder, multiplying like rabbits in a magic hat! Flower power, activate! The excitement doesn't stop there. This girl is on a vertical vacation, stretching another 17cm to a whopping 155cm! That's right, she's practically taller than my 12-year-old at this point! Speaking of growth spurts, we've been blessed with a sunshine and rain tag team this week, and the Pineapple Poison is loving it. New shoots and leaves are popping up like popcorn kernels, which is why I did a little more mainlining magic. Gotta keep those popcorn nugs at bay and focus on the main event: frost-covered colas the size of pineapples! (Okay, maybe not that big, but you get the picture.) Now, the burning question: support systems. Anyone got tips on how to keep this towering beauty from toppling over? Comments are open, growmies, because this girl might need a trellis or some kind of ganja-gardening Eiffel Tower to support her future weight! Cette semaine 3 et 4 a été sans plus un seul bémol est que ma deuxième fille qui montrait nettement des nuances violettes sur ses pointes de têtes s’est cassé pendant un essai de LST, faute entièrement personnelle, j’assume néanmoins on continue avec quand même. La 2e s’est étiré un peu et a reçu parfaitement son LST et a même commencé à montré ses pistils de pré floraison donc on engraisse. Du coup on a profité de ces essai de LST sur les deux fifilles pour commencer les engrais BIO GROW & BIO TOP MAX et bientôt BIO BLOOM pour la phase complète de floraison. It has been so hot, dry and yet humid this past week! We desperately need rain, if not I'll have to start trucking water from the house since the streambed is dry, which I included a video of. The girls are really stretching since they started to flower. Bubba Kush is the tallest at almost 60 inches and she has some lovely purple on her branches that I included in the photos. I finished up the Alaska brand fertilizer and found a local one at my garden supply store. It's from Saltwater Farm and it's a 3-2-2 Fish and Seaweed liquid fertilizer. They seem to like it just fine!

Super excited to see how this girl develops. 🔥🐉 The soil was prepared using my usual recipe: a mix of Biobizz All-Mix and Light-Mix, combined with Lupre Supersoil and Microlife from BioNova. For root development, I decided to go with Mykos this run. Let’s see what she’s got! 💚🌱

This week we gained more height and a lot of bud sights so I will go with straight bloom boost for the next feeding. I have taken many leaves a few times now but it keeps growing back thick so not sure how many times I can do that? I was hoping she would get taller which she did but not as much as I was hoping, I think I did bloom boost a week to soon. 🤷‍♀️🏼 I’m still learning but excited to see how it ends 🤩 We got a new light today so added that in and we will see how It goes. 💨

The weather's finally starting to warm up. It feels so good to have the sun out and to open the windows. With all this extra sunshine, my pound cake plant is really taking off! It's growing so fast, and it's starting to look really full and healthy. I can almost see tiny buds on the ends of the branches - maybe it'll even have flowers soon!

this week we went into flowering the plants are in shape and growing day by day I am waiting to repot them one last time in 13 l pots with Guano Bat Mix from Plagron finally all is well than happiness 🤞🏻 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🙏😃

~July 12th-July 18th~ 🌡️Temp: 🌞78-84 , 🌚74-80 💨Humidity: 🌞65-85%, 🌚70-80% 💡Lights: 🌞18h/6h🌚, 24’ from 🌱, PPFD approx-275 🌬️Airflow: 2 small oscillating fans and a 200cfm inline fan+carbon filter ~Day 15~ Plants are still showing signs of a deficiency or overwatering. I’ll continue to wait to water but will add nutes next time I do. The new growth on the 3 plants look good and the smallest sprouts growth is looking good. Started ph balancing and dechlorinating my humidifier water just in case. ~Day 16~Plants seem to finally be drying out after the overwatering, the growth on the 2 biggest plants has been stunted and the mutated plant is still growing funky. Smallest plant is growing well. Dialing in on the humidity and temps well. Close ups of the discolorations on the 2 largest plants in the photos. ~Day 17~ Old discoloration not gonna get better but it hasn’t spread anymore so that’s good. The plants are still growing slow though which gives time for the mutated plant and the sprout to catch up at least. Woke up to the mutated sprout producing resin like drops from its lower leaves and it had a noticeable smell to it almost similar to a concentrate smell of thc. Prepping the 2 bigger plants for transplant tomorrow, filled 2 fabric 3-gallon AC Infinity pots with about an 1-1.5in layer of perlite at the bottom then Happy Frog and Perlite mixed in a 75/25 ratio layered over top of that up to the holes. Put the plants in the hole still inside their original pots so I could adjust the lights and get them used to their new places. ~Day 18~ Woke up to not much change with the plants other than some small growth in the mutated plant and the small sprout. Definitely time for a transplant and some nutrients so I prepped them for transplant. I mixed up my GH Trio along with some GH Cal-Mag and Ph-down all in distilled water along with a separate spay bottle of rooting powder diluted with Ph balanced distilled water to spray in the hole and on the root mass. The plants were very hard to get out of the small pots and the roots were sticking to the sides while the dirt was falling out around them so I had to cut open the pots and manually set them in. Not too messy but I was scared for the plants, I watered them both approx 250ml of the new nutrient mix along with the other 2 plants who got less. Will check back tomorrow. ~Day 19~ All the plants have exploded with growth since yesterday, the 2 biggest plants have perked up and grown a lot while the mutated has sprouted even more leaves and the little sprout now has its second set of leaves coming in. Everything looks great and I have more confidence in the grow now that I know the nutrients and environment is good for them. ~Day 20~ Lot of new growth continues and the transplant and feed seems to have worked really well. More leaves keep appearing and the growth seems to be going at a much faster rate as they grow older. Getting the other 2 plants ready for transplant tomorrow and I will feed them all again.

8/3 Went over to treat the 10th planet that needed water with plant doctor around 10:30. I was in the garden at 6 but didn't have much time. That plant seems to be curled up or "droopy". It DID need water. I defoliated a few sep leaves off it but I didn't see any today. I guess I don't ever really see the leaves "up" or praying like I do with the rest of tge plants. It's starting to flower like the rest though. Today is the day everything is supposed to get its second or third plant doctor dose but I decided to wait until they need the water. I don't think 24hrs will mean much. I've been staying on top of defoliation but I'm seeing some pillar damage. I'd like to spray bt but what my buddy said about spraying with septoria is still in my head. Maybe I can use citric acid. That way it won't "wash away" spores it will just eat them. At least I think. And I hope lol. Birds get most of the pillars but I hand pick some too. I need to pick up nutes. Wondering if I should just get grow big again. I don't use much but plants are switching to flower and leaves are fading. I have big bloom and kool bloom bit neither have nitrogen. I still need some sort of nitrogen. Especially since that could be a deficiency. Not sure if it's the transition or a condition with the sep. I see some interior small leaves bleeding out and some dying. I'm wondering if what I thought was earwig damage years prior was really a combo of sep and they just ate the evidence. I'm super grateful though. I've got some resilient girls and they're doing well. The special kush in flower is gorgeous as well. Looks like I'll have an early plant. Short flowering time on this strain. Smells pungent. 8/4 Treated everything in the garden with plant doctor except the 10th planet I got yesterday. I need to take a closer look at that plant. It rarely looks "happy" like my others. I'll check it again later. 3tsp per gallon and 1gal a plant. The 10s got a half gallon. This seems to be working great. I have some defoliation to do on the tenth planet I was talking about earlier. Everything is in some form of flower. The flowers on that early special kush are getting bigger. I'll update this later. UPDATE: WENT BACK OVER AT NOON TO TAKE A LOOK AT THAT OTHER 10TH PLANET TO SEE IF IT PICKED UP AT ALL. IT DID. IM GLAD I CAME OVER TO CHECK THOUGH. MAKES ME FEEL BETTER. THE OTHER 10TH PLANET LOOKS HORRIBLE O. FILM FROM ONE ANGLE LOL BUT ITS REALLY A GREAT LOOKING PLANT AND IM USUALLY FILMING AT LIKE 6AM. JIST WANTED TO STICK UP FORCMY GIRL AND HER BAD HAIR DAY. ITS BEEN HIT AND A FEW OF HER LEAVES ARE TACOED. SHE GOT HER FIRST "PREVENTATIVE" DOSE OF PLANT DOCTOR WHICH WAS HALF A TSP/GALLON. IT REALLY SEEMS TO BE DOING SUBSTANTIALLY BETTER. EVERYTHING IS. IM HAVING TO LOOK HARDER AND AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING LEAVES EFFECTED BY SEPTORIA. KNOCK ON WOOD. IM EXCITED. THIS IS GOING BETTER THAN I THOUGHT. IM STILL GOING TO BE MONITERING LIKE I USUALLY DO. 8/5 Watered the 10th planet I dodnt get yesterday. Looked and didn't see any sep leaves. Phone was dead so I vouldnt do a video. Went back over at like 130pm and did a quick video and checked out the girls. Everything is looking good and transitioning well. I WANT to use a diy Dr. Zymes with citric acid as I've noticed a few pillars. Only reason I've hesitated is because my buddy said not to spray it. But if what I spray it with "eats" it I would think it's ok. But what do I know. Birds get a great deal of them. I watch them on the camera sit on the cage and wait for one to stick it's head up before snatching it up. Still need to get either more grow big or a bloom product with nitrogen. I was able to defoliate that other 10th planet of anything suspect. It's hard work but it's worth it in the end. 8/6 It's like 81 at 4pm. I didn't have time to video this morning but i went back over. WATERED EVERYTHING THIS BUT THE 50 AND THE 10TH PLANET I GOT YESTERDAY. Temps are supposed to pick up soon and it will be in the 90's again. We've had like NO rain. I searched for leaves that had signs of sep to defoliate. I may find one or two but for the most part things are doing great. Overall I'm happy. 8/7 Bought a new bottle of grow big. Wanted to switch to the roots organic teas but I cant do that invthe middle of an already complicated grow. I'll switch nutes next season. I'm noticing some pillar damage. Not much amd I've been hand picking them. I've found a few in curled up leaves. I watered the 10th planet in the front corner that didn't get it yesterday. I hope the watering yesterday will hold them until the morning. I'm still thinking about doing an application of diy Dr. Zymes to clear up any random pests. I'll ask a question and see what other growers on here have to say.
