~ Day 71 Update ~
Hello everyone! Hola! I’m Meus and this is my 10th weekly update for “First Mainline Attempt!”.
I’d like to welcome new & veteran growers, Thanks for taking the time to stop by :)
~ Progress ~
You know, I’m astounded by the level of growth in this past week, my mind is blown! 5" of growth compared to the avg of 1" for the past few weeks (9,8,7, etc), just wow 😱. The smell is pungent, dank, and slightly sweet. I can only dream of what these girls will skunk out, soon, very soon... I’d like to flower now but I have a few small issues.
First: I wanted to stop at 8 toppings but I need clones of the others so everyone gets topped to keep an even canopy. Of course I’m not taking 8 clones each 😏, just 2-3 of each strain (5 strains, 6 plants; 2 phenotypes) to put in my 2nd tent till these girls (mainlined beasts) are harvested. This is ambitious though I’m optimistic that this will work out 🙏
Second: Related to the first issue I’m going to need a trellis net to support these girls with their 16 tops. Thing is, all my plant have varying flowering schedules (55 to 70+ days). I’ll need to make a net set up that I can cut out each plant individually as they’re ready to harvest.
Third: MOLD! Though it’s not a lot I do have a bit of mold developing at the bottom of the fabric pots (which are known to mold). I’m going to switch to Superoots Air-Pot so I can avoid the mold. They’re $10+ a pop so I might have to wait till my next grow to afford the amount I need to make a full switch.
Depending on how things go I’ll start flowering at week 13. Now concerning the mold I found a few ways to deal with my problem without harming or altering taste of these young ladies. This will be a tough 11 - 14 weeks, I’ll keep ya updated fam!

Notes: I'm surprised at the uniformity of these two sisters, I'm going to veg a bit longer and get me some clones just in case ;)

Notes: I thought this girl was a goner, definitely didn't respond to the mainline well like the others, wonder why? 😶 Still I'm impressed that my smallest plant is filling in, though she looks weird I still love her and her minions <3
[White Widow]

Notes: Well... This was one of my smallest girls, she's by far the bushiest and most filled in. For an example look at her root mass, one word, insane! Roots are spreading everywhere, so aggressive and the trunk is huge, perfect for transporting all those nutes. Tanya here recovered from a split too, awesome :)

Notes: Taller but just as dense as the white widow, the Mazar has potential! A beautiful, healthy canopy, one of my best girls. It's a good feeling knowing that my hard work is paying off 😭 I'm afraid of topping this one because she is so dense that 16 tops will be off the hook, better make a plan soon 🙏

Notes: I’m starting to get impatient, I love this strain! Well, most strains developed by Arjan are great <3 I will need to feed soon with diluted nutes, she looks hungry a bit. Other than that she’s a healthy young lady that’s ready to flower :)
~ Final Thoughts ~
Where to start... I’m excited! Getting my clones are my top priority right now, then I'll focus on canopy support. I’ve come a long way from my first grow, even though I failed I learned a lot. Those lessons are keeping me on my toes and I’m learning more everyday. Thank you to those who have been influential to my success, much love! I can honestly say Grow Diaries is the best! What a fantastic community to just happen upon while skimming forums one day. So again, thank you guys so much for the support! The comments are informative and helpful, I appreciate em all :)

Flushed this week with straight water. Bud is smelling like sulfer and orange.
Bud structure was good but they don’t seem very dense. Nice color shift the last two weeks of growth.
Chopping down and hanging for a two week dry.

Las plantas ya tienen echo el lavado de raizes y ahora solo estoy regando con agua, a 400 ms y ph 6.5 estan repletas de cogollos y duros como piedras de arriba abajo,

Unfortunately, the plant didn't handle my absence very well. It got way too hot inside the greenhouse, and my neighbor was a bit too generous with the nutrients while not allowing enough runoff (drain). I flushed the plant today—the initial runoff was at a critical 2200 PPM, but I managed to flush it down to a stable 800 PPM. I really hope she recovers quickly now. I have to leave for another two-week work trip this coming Monday, so I'm hoping she bounces back by then so I can leave with peace of mind🙈😀

Que pasa familia, vamos a añadir la tercera semana de floración de estas Apple Fritter de RoyalQueenSeeds, empezamos con la temperatura que la tenemos entre los 21/25 grados, la humedad está entorno al 50%, el ph está en 6.2 , el foco actualmente lo tengo encendido 12 horas y la potencia es al 75% de lo que da el foco.
También añado la gama de nutrientes de Agrobeta, que no falla, sin duda de la mejor alimentación que hay para tus plantas.
Veremos estas próximas semanas como avanzan y se comportan en la floración.

I am now flushing her with plain Brita filtered water PH'd with lime juice to lower her PH.
I initially first flushed her with 42L of water and now I am flushing her once a day for 8 days and then I will put her in for darkness for 3 days and then I will harvest her and dry her for 9 days and then cure her for 28-48 days.

As I was planning to harvest this week, I started flushing Mishka with PH 7.5 water and no nutrients as per guidelines.

No veas que pinta que tienen estas plantas.
Las flores aparte se ven bien resinosas.
a sido una genética con la que disfruté mucho cultivarla, es algo complicada cultivarla pero merece la pena si eres cultivador con experiencia no te será problema cosechar.

Water, noticed some slight burn, will flush her next day or so. She looks pretty good other.
Spaced some branches just just a tad. Cleanin up, while she fattens!
Has a minty smell.

Day 8 - Girls starting to come on now. Looks like their roots have settled and starting to see some pokies coming out of the bottom of the root pouches so hopefully start to see some good growth beginning soon. Get them ready for training and the likes.
Not changed the water this week (really should have as temp has been up a bit...into the 25's in the tank but plenty of Great White in there and no roots in water yet but...) - topping up with plain water to keep the EC level and just pH adjusting. Last weeks solution was a bit hot for my liking but no burn signs so should be good for a couple more days yet.
Got some iceline procured so been cleaning/flushing/sterilising the Hailea for getting it installed (That's when the water change will happen...likely to last weeks strength & recipe). Cant wait to get that in to get tank temps down (as roots will be in the water in about 5 days by the looks of things...tops!!! Also have the Torus Hydro pH Perfect Inline run through for a couple of days so it will be ready to go in to keep the pH good for me (A grow off and my pH skills are out the window!!! 😜). Just waiting on a Sicce Syncra 3.0 to pump the chiller and the pH Perfect (Bit overkill @ 2700LpH but looking something for the URDWC I am building for next year...thought the extra pressure would help with the inline pH adjuster too).
Apart from that, will download the stills for the time lapse video and upload tomorrow.

Ernte nach 64Tagen. Für den falschen ph wert ganz akzeptabel. Auch erst mein 1ter richtiger grow. Hat spaß gemacht. Nächstes mal wird einiges besser. Wenn die blpten fertig sind gibts noch mehr bilder.

It’s as amazing as I remember. Look for look, smell for smell and hopefully taste for taste with the drying/curing.

This week I changed up my nutrient feeding as I figured out that I read the bottle wrong and was not adding enough food. I adjusted the feeding and the girls took off. the girl that I planted a week later than the rest and topped has now passed one of the original that I planted. Since it was my first grow I wasn't sure about topping but the plant the one I topped ended up growing in a much better uniform plant. I have noticed the leaves don't get as big on the topped plant and I really haven't had to defoliate. The plants that I just defoliated are doing well and finally started to get some height.Seeing as I am running out of tent room this is their last week in veg. My 6" vivosun inline fan started to make a horrible noise so I replaced it with an ac infinity much quiter. The vivo sun pushed alot of air and was semi quiet when I first got it but that only lasted two months.

Woche 12 beginnt. Sie ist fast fertig. Eine absolute tolle Genetik!
Lässt sich super trainieren ! Geruch ist sehr stark.
Hatte noch ein bisschen calmag Probleme was durch die 300w lumatek verursacht wurde.
Aber es geht ihr gut dank plagron.
Hab die gute gespült. Die spitzen sehen aus la ob sie leichten nutriens Brand bekommen. Aber das sollte die letzten paar Tage vor der Ernte kein Problem sein.
