Gave both ladies a topping. Will be pinning down the bottom leaves in a couple of days. Will be doing a whole lot of topping for these girls. Things are really heating up so should pick up the pace here

This week was big for me, I had on back order an eye hortilux ceramic HPS bulb and lighting kit, I was previously using their cmh bulb but as my girl started to get ready to flower I saw the new ligh had to be 36” from the canopy but since my tent is only 6’ I switched early.

Still swelling but starting to slow down and swagger. It's kolas are becoming so large that it's really starting to weight down the plants small height and stature. Trying to get away with not holding it up but I will see how the further biggest kola starts to lower more how it'll end. I'm starting to lower the feed and get ready for the last 3-4 weeks I'll be giving these plants. Some more foliage will be removed eventually in the coming weeks and also I'll start to change the feed up a little. You can really see the difference in the two phenos. One's a lot like a leafy gelato and the other is OG all the way with great dense kolas. I'm expecting the Gelato type pheno to take 9-10 weeks and the OG one seems to be showing it's age more rapidly with it's pistil development and colour change beginning to start while the other seems untouched and continues to shoot newer whiter pistils!

Update time. (1 day early) During week 8 Watered once with compost tea (Worm castings and unsulfured molasses) Light defoliation every few days on bottom leaves/popcorn buds Noticed some of the girls fan leaves are darker than others. These autos are very sensitive to nutes/light/watering. **Promoted to Apprentice Grower. Thanks!! :D Plan for week 9 Planning on adding phosphate/potassium with dry amendments one more time during this week. Nitrogen seems to be showing a bit high in a few of the girls and not in the others. Not sure if its early N toxicity or just the genes of the plants. Feeding each one the same. Watering with regular PH water 6.6-6.8 (checking run off) More minor defoliation as I see fit. Overall really happy still with this grow! I am definitely a "Newbie" when it comes to growing Autos so this is a great learning experience. I have noticed these girls really don't need too heavy of nutrients and are very sensitive plants. Week 15 for Gelato 41 by seedstockers She got a MASSIVE defoliation... session done to her. She looks a little naked as of now but she will bounce back nicely by next week😇 She really needed it, it was so bushy before you couldn't even put your arm into the plant to figure out what was what😂 Oddly enough 30% of the plant seems to be in pre-flower when the rest doesn't... She does get shaded the quickest in the garden but wouldn't expect her to be flowering already... Still hasn't been watered since the rain last week but i may have to give water once this week as we have 40+ degrees incoming 😰

This week has proven to be a good week with signs of this plant exploding with size. Flushing has began as nutrients were reduced. I am looking forward over the next 2 weeks

Finishing up this week. Started flush and will be chopping at 8.5 weeks. Had to tie up all the mains to keep from flopping over. Smells amazing.

Start of week 5 of flower and the girls are looking happy, starting to get a decent scent on them, definitely got that citrusy smell coupled with candy sweet... I can’t wait for it to finish now, 3-4 weeks and counting 😅

These Durban girls(hopefully) are showing off…So green and full of life…I hope to at least get 1 male to continue this strain. Time will tell.

My Rainbow Saltz plant is a medium-sized beauty in the tent. It's got really nice, healthy leaves and an incredibly strong aroma already. I'm excited to see how it develops! Okay, This past week has been absolutely fantastic! The weather has been incredible, and I've been able to keep the windows open almost the entire time. My plants are thriving in the humidity, and the VPD has been perfect. Everything just feels so balanced and in check.

Day 69 of flowering and still looking for the elusive Amber trichromes, they are 90% cloudy no amber 10% clear I will patiently wait I want to experience the more indica feel with these last few choice buds. Update Oct 19th 2017. Seen my first amber trich today, as I'm getting older I can't see through my loupe to view resin glands, so my wife showed me how too view them through pictures. All I can say is wow! She was able to zoom right in on them to get a good look.
