Ok my Gorilla girls are growing beautiful right on schedule did some LST as you can see to try and keep the canopy as even as possible and get the lower branches up even with the rest ..I also tied down the main branch to keep it even with the rest as it grows... I will be going into flowing probably Monday ..by then they will be pushed out and just the right size...... Not much else to say everything is dialed in perfect .. Until next week.... Welcome to week 3 of my White Truffle grow! At the end of week 2 she’s been topped above the third node. She has needed a day of recovery but the day after she continued to grow visibly. The main stem seems already strong, the branches are still flexible enough to start training the plant a little. In the next few days I will start to bend the side branches and trying to fill up the tent nicely. One of the top branches snapped a little, which I will have an additional eye on. I’m also also trying to keep the first nodes and how they develop in the next weeks, otherwise I will cut them when I start to defoliate.

Apologies for not updating last week. She is the last girl left in the tent so I decided to get some canes and spread her out to the extents of the tent. She is progressing, the hairs are turning but have not gone very dark yet. Still some 'new' white hairs around. I have not even looked at the trichomes yet, the flowers look quite airy at this stage. As there are no other diaries of this strain I'm flying by the seat of my pants here 😂 I'm thinking at least another 3 weeks left..

It's time for another thrilling update on my cannabis journey: 🌸 Aromatic Delight: As we reach the end of week 8, the aroma in my grow space is absolutely enchanting. The scents have intensified and become truly captivating. 🌬️👃 🌈 Vibrant Colors: The plants are flaunting their vibrant hues as the flowers continue to mature. The leaves exhibit beautiful purple hues, and The Queen plant is adorned with striking orange and red hairs. It's an absolute spectacle! 🌺🎨 💧 pH and TDS Levels: Throughout the entire flowering stage, I've maintained a steady pH level of 6.33. That's fantastic news! In terms of TDS levels, they currently stand at 750ppm and 1150ppm, providing the much-needed nutrients for your beloved plants. ⚖️🌱 ⏳ Progress Update: The Queen has proven to be a fast finisher, reaching the impressive milestone of 49/56 days. She's now completely ready to be harvested. It's time to celebrate! 🔥 🍪 Oreo Big Stuff: Although the Oreo Big Stuff was expected to finish around the same time as The Queen, it seems she needs a few more days to reach her peak. Hang tight for another 2/3 days, and she'll be ready to harvest as well. Patience is key! 🍪⚡ 🌿 Zweet Og: Ah, the beloved Zweet Og! This beauty emits an incredible OG gas funk smell. I absolutely adore it! The estimated flowering time for this strain is 63-70 days, and she still needs a little over a week to reach her full potential. Keep an eye on her progress, as she's worth the wait! 🕒👀🌿 🧐 Drying Dilemma: Unfortunately, I've encountered a challenge with drying The Queen. She's currently positioned on the back left side of the grow tent with a scrog setup, making it difficult to remove her without disturbing the others. It's a tricky situation indeed! 😬🌿🏋️‍♂️ 🌱 Future Plans: Despite this dilemma, I'm overall thrilled with the progress of my grow. No hermaphrodites or other issues have surfaced, which is fantastic news. I'm even planning to embark on another run with The Queen. I already have six clones ready to transition into flowering immediately after this run. Exciting times lie ahead, especially since it'll be my first time flowering clones! 🌼🌿🌿 That wraps up this week's update. Auto Flower AK Triple Haze by Super Sativa Seed Club: 35 Days from Seed, 10 Days Flower. All are green, healthy, & growing. Comparison of Living soil+Teas vs Coco/Perlite+Fertilizer is a huge difference. Plants in Coco are twice the biomass. Weekly Environment: 78F, 54% RH, 975ppm CO2, & 650-850 PPFD 18hr Lighting. Gorilla, gorilla, my problem child. The only one popping out of 5 but she is weaker than her roommates. She stays behind compared to them. But what can I do other than TLC, she has the best conditions, which are optimal in this grow room, also judging by the other two plants. Until I have a bigger operation, which in the current political climate, is not soon, where I can make mothers and clone them, breed my own strains, and root out runts like this, we do it like life. We play the hand as it is dealt to us and we love all our children the same... although this one is special. So not a genderfluid Silverback yet, but it ain't over till the voluptuous lady sings. We shall nurse this little runt until adulthood, who knows she might surprise us, she should have the mighty Gorilla Glue Number Fouh genes in there somewhere. Now come on out here and show daddy what you're made of... This week we spread out the leaves and branches, some leaf tucking and gentle LST, to prepare for some higher stress and super cropping today. Two days back we made the switch and set the lights to 12/12. Now the flowering stretch will begin, thus we bend the branches further outward in preparation for the canopy. When I do this I notice the branches are thick and sturdy, with no breakage at all unlike my previous grow, the gelato 33. I snapped some branches applying the super cropping and just normal bending with those. It seems like the fan (I didn't have a good option previous grow, hence the flimsier branches there) but also this lighting and soil regime are topnotch, asides from outdoor I haven't seen such lush bushiness yet, even on a more runt-like plant. This MarsHydro SP3000 is still performing great, such controlled temperatures, such an ocean of light. I only wish I started growing with this earlier. It is so well made, it oozes quality, I just want to touch it every time (also to check if it stays cool) and it is just sexy, slender, and compared to my other 300 watt light, a completely different spectrum and clarity. With this I'm going to simulate sunrise and sunset and try to prevent stress by easing the light in and out, like in nature. We are in flowering now, very excited to see what she will do here. What can she perform? Will she cover the net? Will she deliver gorgeous buds, like she is known to do? How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. This is due to light spectrum, temperature, and/or photoperiod changes. Yes, Freakshow will do exceedingly well indoors, and will thrive and mature just fine in a wide variety of natural environments as well, so it's definitely both and I think might even prove to be more resilient to those sorts of transitions. Q. What are the potency and terpenoid levels? A. Average 18-20% THCa, THC; negligible CBD, CBN with terps variable, averaging 2.5-3.5, primarily limonene and pinene, but this is variable, there was a lot of diversity in terp combinations and compositions in all the prior generations, it's just something that was left "as is" for now. The different parallel lines that we are developing can be directed in a few different pathways flavorwise. Q. Why are the seeds white? A. Why is the sky blue? No, the mature seeds are shrouded by a rice paper thin membrane which has coloring and mottling on it, but it's so fragile that it disintegrates in the process of shucking. Stripped of the outer layer the seeds are very pale, nearly white. It came as no surprise that this plant would have abnormal seeds. Q. Is it a GMO? A. Wow...? Well, it's seriously "modified" and the modifications are definitely genetic, and it is an organism. (Genuinely Modified Organically!) Uh, no. No radiation, no recombinant DNA, no gene splicing or editing, no TALEN or CRISPR! These biotechnologies don't belong in the food and medicine plant industries. Sadly, in the near future it will become commonplace and widespread in cannabis and other medicinal plants as it is already is with food crops and ornamentals. I'll avoid discussion on this topic for now, but we hope some people enjoy consuming Frankenbud! Q. What's the floral period length? A. 8-9 wks, finishes early Oct. at most latitudes and elevations. Q. Is it a big producer? A. Freakshow will produce nice, fat, dense colas (see gallery) with remarkable trichome coverage, and you can expect yields according to your veg. time, root space, and general knowledge and expertise as a gardener. The same set of variables apply to expected outcomes regarding cannabinoid levels and terpene profiles. Q.What is the lineage? A. (Bigbud x Skunk#1) x (Big Sur Holy Weed x Banana Kush). NLD("Sativa") dominant, but the afghanica influence is apparent. I'm pretty sure that Freakshow contains some Trainwreck and some Maui Wowie based on some research I did on the origins of the Pineapple Express. Interestingly Big Sur Holyweed, OG Kush, Banana, Trainwreck, and Maui Wowie are all of unclear origins. We have to remember that these are all just names and that they don't really mean much. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. Couch unlock. Q. Is it pest and mildew resistant? A. Indeed it is. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Update: what a week full of activity and positive growth. The Amnesia is a big beast of a lady now. She is nearly 2.5ft across her canopy and growing. I have had a shuffle round in the grow space and she is now under the sp250 with her soil friends. The supercropped knuckles are nice and chunky to support the spiked colas I plan on her having. She has flattened out nicely too. I expect her to get even wider by the flip time and with so many growing tips she should be a good producer. Sweet Afghani Delicious has thankfully now started her real recovery from the root rot after a week in new feed. She has some good potential for a decent finish by the way shebhas bounced back over the last 2 days with new growth and now starting to fill up wirh chlorophyll again. Red Hot Cookie is also on the road to recovery with way more colour and actual vertical growth starting too. Her 5th node looked done for so i left it to fall off if it wanted and concentrated on the 4th nodes but she had other ideas and has now began growing the 5th again. Overall inam happy to see a recovery in them as i thought I was going to lose the nft girls from all the damage. Now at 100% power on the sp3000 with an rh of 67% and room temps at approx 24.5°c. With another weeks growth I am hoping to be close to flipping them all as the Amnesia is in danger of total room domination!!. Be safe and well. GGD

The Bat mix soil nutes are all used up now. As you can see allot of leaves are showing a Nitrogen deficiency. So I start giving her Start Up it has Grow, root stimulater andnutes for leaves all in one. This is one a weekly basis. And because WiFi Og needs more Nitrogen then other strains. So I gave her extra 4 ml per 700 ml Alga Grow for the extra Nitrogen with out the extra additives. And she is coming by really fine now. I am just filling up the screen for 80% and the I will start to swithc over to 12/12. And becasue I am using tap water there is no Cal/Mag deficiency. But she is a tought one and really strong.😍👍🙏

29/09/2025 18:50 Finally here after 10 full cloudy and rainy days,found out that the two Coco needs more water,the pots were dry like never even with rain almost every day 18.6 °C and 53%RH means only one thing,autumn is here and officially summer ended Video #1 apricot auto 68 days from seed Harvest Is near for this little auto,smell is the best by far Just like an apricot juice Checked all the plant and didn't found any mold sign so i cut a little sample to have a better look at the trichomes Video #2 Coco fresh 60 days from seed This one is really focusing on the buds you can see the difference from the last time Noticed that the buds below the apical are pretty dense i don't know if it's normal or if it's because of underwatering Video #3 Coco Milk 72 days from seed I think last time defoliation was a bit hard as i see not much difference on the buds as i think should be in 10 days Smell of this Is like buttery really strange if you think It comes from a plant At the end there are the first four branches of the gorilla z, these flowers are 94 days old and keeps going wtf 2nd of october now and Is raining again after a full day of heavy rain,maybe i will be back after a full week
