4/1/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Veg (Day 59 overall) Water Change Day!!! Water was really low it was just above the hump in the Res cutting it close to not having enough water in the system to keep it going. They drank a lot making it close going the full 14 days. I am still going with the previous grows and adding 36 Gallons but even looking at the root I think the SILICA is working and the roots are further along at this point than in previous grows. This next two weeks will watch how much they drink and how low my Res starts getting, and will make a decision on changing the water weekly from here on out or still keep on the plan of every other week until Week 4 of Flower. I will be taking two clones from each to breed over the next few weeks depending on when I am going to flip them. 4/3/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Veg (Day 61 overall) A little FIMing, A little Topping, and a Little bit of defoliation. Might have to take my clones during the week this week, I am trying to wait until Saturday to hit week 8 but again they are getting all over the place and I need to trim some of the sides and lower areas. 4/4/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Veg (Day 62 overall) I decided to take my clones and clean up the lower half of the plants. I took 2 clones from each plant to go into the cloning machine. 4/5/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Veg (Day 63 overall) Water Temp is sitting at 73. Right in my ideal range for my setup. Ideal range 70-74 My Temp Tent is my ideal zone75.6 Ideal for this grow 70-78 The lights are still waiting the switch to flower to get maxed out... The Humidity is coming in right at 60% I love it.. I took so much off yesterday I figure it was a good day to let them rest. 4/6/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Veg (Day 64 overall) I needed to Defoliate some and I topped a little. The plants might force me to flip them soon. Next Wed is the 10 week mark half way through the 20 weeks. The net is Bingo... Which means that If/when the plants hit the net I will have to flip them. The Net is set to the max height that I can let them get based on the Breeders Stretch report 75%. 4/7/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Veg (Day 65 overall) #3 is 22 inches Tall, #2 is 19 Inches Tall. Net is set at 24 inches. Net is also set as my Bingo point, if they hit the net then I have to flip no matter what to account for the Breeders recommended 75% Stretch allowance. I think I am going to have to flip right at the 10 week mark of the Competition which is Wed 12 Apr. I topped a little, I de-foliated a lot to start getting it ready for the anticipated Flip.

Week 5 - Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 82 during the day and 72 at night. It’s been creeping up and down for the past couple of weeks. I’m thinking of ordering a T8 Cloudline from AC to really suck that air out… I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop and wow, just wow. Already popping with some long stems and big heads! These girls just keep getting better and better. They are also really starting to show their pheno differences, and similarities. 3 of them have very similar terps, and slight variations, and one is distinct in both smell and look.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great week. The Glueberry OG is doing well, but it has been a struggle dealing with the heat and humidity in my region during late flower. I have 2 full size basement dehumidifiers running 24X7 and am able to maintain between 42-48% RH in the tent, however the tent is running between 68-80 degrees F, and I would definitely prefer slightly cooler. It is also a bitch to empty both humidifiers twice a day to prevent them from filling up and shutting off. I could build a reservoir and run lines, but I am just done flowering in the summertime, although I said the same thing in summer 2021. I was hoping to harvest her on 4th of July of Weekend, however her trichomes are just not ready. She is literally covered in triches, but not seeing any amber on the colas, just a couple on the leaves. So I will giver her at least another week, and hopefully harvest the following weekend. I check the trichomes every day or two and my new plan is hopefully to start the flush by the 4th depending on the trichomes and harvest the following weekend. Since I am harvesting 3 plants, if I can't get them all trimmed in a day, I plan to just go lights off for the next few days and have an auto or two still in the tent auto feeding on water only, while the Glueberry OG starts to dry, and then harvest the other's in the next couple of days. I figure as long as everything is in complete darkness, and the temp and humidity are stable, it should be fine, as some people swear by a darkness period anyways, although I have never tried it. If anyone has any experience/advice with this hit me up! I am trying to stay patient with this lady, but I am super excited to harvest her. Her Colas just started falling to the floor of the tent yesterday as they continue to pack on weight, Fortunately I saw it via Wyze Cam and was able to tie them up before they reached the floor. This lady smells absolutely amazing, this lady reaks of earthy diesel, and juicy fruit...Super excited to smoke and squeeze some of these nugs. The Glueberry OG Auto is the second auto I have run by Dutch Passion, the other was their Auto Blueberry which was a MASSIVE plant. I definitely prefer Photos as I enjoy mainlining etc, but as far as autos go, I have not seen any stronger genetics than Dutch Passion. I don't want to speculate on a final weight, but she has 12 mains, and I am estimating each main will be in the 1-2 zip range, and that's not even counting all the side branches. I know some people lollipop all the lower branches, but I will be happy to turn the lowers into half melt, canna-sugar,, bubble hash, full melt, rosin, etc. I am still running the Medic Grow Spectrum X at 100% in the F1 mode and running the UV/IR bar for 120 minutes prior to lights off. So far I am super pleased with this light, for the amount of PAR she puts out, she definitely runs cool comparatively to other LED's. Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. I’ve got my exhaust system and fan running continuously to ensure no mold develops. 📸 Final Updates: I’ll check in again with an update just before harvest to let you know how things are looking. Remember, I’m posting new pictures and videos of my plant every day. 🌱 Day 70 - Last Day Before Harvest 🌱 Hey Grow-Friends! 😄 Today marks the final day before harvest, and I couldn’t be more excited! As planned, I’ve kept the plant in darkness for the last 48 hours and haven’t watered it for 6 days. My goal is to let it sit in the dark until this evening, when the time finally comes to chop it down. 🌿✂️ Drying Decisions 🌬️ After much research and considering several factors—especially the high humidity in my tent—I’ve decided to go with wet trimming instead of dry trimming. I know dry trimming is often recommended for better bud quality and taste, but my main concern is avoiding mold at all costs. So, to play it safe, I’ll wet trim the buds, get them into the right size, and then place them in a drying net for about 7 days. Timing Concerns ⏳ I’m still figuring out the best timing for transferring the buds into curing jars. Since I’m wet trimming, I won’t be able to rely on the classic “stem snap test” to check dryness. But we’ll figure that out as we go along! Final Reflections 🌟 It’s been an amazing journey, and although I could push the grow a little further, I believe this is the perfect time to harvest. Gorgeous looking plant, you can tell she's definitely an indica strain by those beautiful fat leaves that she has, I'm very excited to try this strain for the 1st time, and also it's the first time I grow a strain from this Spanish Bank from the canary islands! This week was a real breeze! She's gaining a ton of weight on the bud sites and she's really growing nicely! She's starting to bud around the flowering sites and really finishing nicely. The formation of buds is my favorite part because that's when you get to see somewhat of the final picture and the time the flower is most colorful! Now the second best part is harvesting the flower for smoking which will be occuring soon! The smell on these girls is very invigorating!! She's putting out a smell of a bakery. You can smell sweet cakes when you open up the tent! I can't believe how big she's got and how beautiful they are coming along! I have to say that this is one of my favorites to grow and my favorite smelling strain! I also love the way the flowers are stacking on the colas!!! The frost on top of the cola leaves is insane! During the day I drop the humidity down to 45-50% and then at night I raise the humidity up to 60-65% which helps a ton with flower promotion during the flowering stage! Also, I raise the temperature during the day to 80° and at night I lower the temperature to 55°-60° which helps mimic the autumn temperatures that aids a ton in flower production in the flowering stage!!! Soon I'll stop giving the two Pound Cake Auto's any synthetic nutrients because they stop taking nutrients in and start to self canabulize as a normal (ending) part of plant life. Then I'll give the two ladies plain pH balanced H20 for a week to flush any and all nutrients out of them. Then three days of darkness. Finally I'll chop them down to hang in my harvesting closet for 7-14 days with a dehumidifier on at 65% humidity. Then I'll place the flower into the trimmer and then into the grove bags for the last step in harvesting! The grove bags will keep the flower at 58-62% humidity. They also help keep the flower fresh longer, the Terpenes fresh, the Terpenes flavors, and from becoming moldy or dried out! I've used both these and the mason jars with boveda humidity packs but to me the grove bags are a must!!! Thanks and as always stay safe, stay high, and stay blessed!
