[NEW ~ 11.1.18I just started nutes at low doses to ease these girls in without shocking em (hopefully). I have to be careful and monitor these ladies to see how they respond. They look good so far and handled their transition to flower well. I'll update ya guys if something goes wrong, much love!
Hola los amigos! Hello my friends! I'm back with week 11's (day 71) diary. Today I decided to make a longer video, which I left out a few things because I didn't want to make the video another 2-3 minutes longer :) So at the and of my weekly comment I'll mention what I didn't in the video, Thanks for checking out one my diaries, if you notice anything I'm missing let me know, I'd really appreciate it 😅
~ Update day 71 ~
First on the list is the overall growth of these girls, I’m astounded. I’m very happy that I made the decision to use Grower Choice Seeds, even though there is a issue with my CBD Blueberry I tried some of the trimmed buds and I’ll tell you what, those buds were way immature.. but the effect was incredibly pleasant and perfect for ending a hard days work, wow I can’t wait to harvest the mother! I’ll definitely grow more CBD Blueberry on my next rotation. Still I’m wondering what could have happened to cause the CBD to bud and not the others… Oh well, It’s a good learning experience :) Now I’ll get into the individual progress notes for this week, enjoy <3

Notes: I’m very happy to see this girl finally get a bit bushier. Having a very similar structure to her sister her genes are nowhere near as aggressive. Still I’m curious what pheno this girl is… Only time will tell.

Notes: This Twister Sister is insane! I have to mention her clones here. I kid you not this girl is aggressive and my best grower. All her clones are massive compared to the others. I’m keeping this girl, I might even breed her with a Thai Landrace just to see what happens ;)
[CBD Blueberry]

Notes: This girl is confused, poor thing :( I got her to reveg, not sure how but it happened. If you look closely at the leaves you can see the weird deformed that are a classic sign of reveging. The growth rate has increased a lot! She was my smallest plant and now she’s mt tallest, I need to do some HST or topping, don’t want her towering over the others. Now I have a question, do any of you guys know if it’s bad to reveg feminized plants? I heard a rumor that it’s not recommended but I’d like to ask my fellow growers here on GD.

Notes: Now this is a proper bush, a beautiful round full structure, these genetic look amazing, can’t wait to see what she matures into. I’m glad I’m stopping at 16 tops because this girl would take up the entire 4 x 4 tent if I let her, big girl :)

Notes: She’s now one of my smallest girls, though her structure and canopy is solid. She’s loving the net, let’s her breathe a bit more. I have high hope for this one, much love for Arjan and any of his creations.

Notes: My all time favorite! Tanya has bluish green leaves that have a platinum sheen to em. I really like the colors, I wonder how white this girl will get, If you guys have any suggestions to make WW or any strain extra frosty let me know <3
~ Final Thoughts ~
I made it to flowering! Woop! Now it’s time for the hard part, the budz :D This has been a stressful, yet oddly relaxing (more like cathartic) and rewarding experience, I’m slowly
introducing nutes every other watering. The next nute mix will be when I start week 12 (flowering) I will and some flower fuel to help boost the growth of phat buds. I’ll also add
molasses and honey for carbohydrates and sweetness. The expected harvest date is around December 17th so stick around ya! See you guys next week! :)

On week 5 of actual flowering the plants are coming along nicely and HSC GSC is looking the best so far but its still early :) WW is slow to start flowering just small amount of pistils so far small buds looks more like week 3 or 4 as far as flowering progression.

Onto the second node now and the plant is looking really good :)) I have great hope for this Northern Lights auto I'm so happy too be growing this strain again!!

10 weeks old today. Flowers are getting thicker and thicker as harvest is near. Plants are receiving stored rainwater and have noticed they aren’t drinking as much as just a few days ago. The smaller plant is a little further along than its larger roommate but I really need to cut them down together. I’d imagine maybe another week until they get cut. 9-21 very soon will be harvested. Doing my best to insure they are at their peak. Decided to wash the buds since they spend a lot of time in the backyard. Thanks everyone for your input. 9-22 first day of autumn. Plants seems to be to be doing well. A touch of light burn but not bad. Probably going to wait till Friday to harvest at 11 weeks. Still hot here but gradually getting better. 9-24. Continue to flush the plants with stored rainwater. Both are looking healthy as they will be harvested in 2 days after a cold front passes with lower temps and humidity.

Had a cold, slow growing week this week. Night temps dropped down pretty low a few nights before I noticed, had a cold snap and I recently took my heating vent out of the tent, so I rerouted one of my AC exhausts trough this tent to heat it up again. I also had a bit to much nitrogen in my water mixture so this also slowed them down a bit, I diluted the nutrients in half but removing half of the water and adding strait water. There coming around now a few days later. Gonna be moving them to the big 4’x8’ tent soon(week or so prob till the tent is empty) with the RDWC 5gal bucket system and 1000w HPS for flowering. Gonna let them grow up a bit still before be start there LST, don’t wanna stress them yet after last week and there still staying low and bushy, not quite long enough shouts to pull over yet. This is the 2nd MSNL strain I have tried and the genetics are great. She got the longest time in the tent as she is a standard photoperiod and the rest of the grow where fast flowering photoperiods.
I trimmed her after 16 days of drying and got 35g of decent buds and 9g of ok buds.
Power used for whole grow in 114 days.
Lights=201.7Kw (201.7×0.25)(=£50.42)
Rad=212.23kw (212.23×0.25)(=£53.05)
201.7÷114=1.769kw per day light average.
Average 100w for veg
Average 150w for flower.
Light average for grow 125w.

10/14-10/20
10/14: After lowering the temperature in the tent about 5 degrees, the leaf tip burn has stopped. This is the second time I believe I have successfully controlled the Grow Dots release rate with temperature adjustments (maybe--more experiments are needed, but it sure seems like it gives you a great amount of flexibility).
The tent is crowded, but the temp/RH/VPD have been perfect (see image).
Branches seem too spindly. I'm worried that the buds aren't going to fatten up enough. We'll see. Lots of time left.
Still hand watering (1/2gal per day per plant)
10/16: The lower fan leaves on one plant are yellowing a lot (the left side, or "bigger" plant with the larger light). They also happen to be below the largest buds. The largest buds also happen to be closest to the light. After reading around a bit, here's what I think happened: The parts of the plant closest to the light were getting too much light, which caused the fan leaves to yellow and start to die. The DLI was close to 60 for those parts of the plant, which is WAY too high. I turned it down, and now it's around 45 for the big buds, and 35-40 for the remainder of the plant. I wish there was a way to move the larger buds further away from the light, but there's not because of space limitations. I still have some concern about the size of the buds. I think I'm going to end up with a whole bunch of apricot-sized buds and no big kahunas. It doesn't seem like it will be the yield I hoped for, and I am no sure why. A common comment in the Glookies diaries I've seen is that the yield was below expectation. Lots of time left--maybe they'll fatten up a lot.
10/16 (again): I had a little extra time today so I built a DIY CO2 generator. See video. There's some chance it will overflow and/or explode and spray yeast and sugar all over the place. I plan to watch carefully. The pump and heat mat are on a timer so that they're only going when the lights are on.
10/20: Last day of this week. I turned down the light and the leaves stopped yellowing. So, problem solved. The plants look as good as any other Glookies diary I see on here for this far along. I am using every available inch of this tent. I've been as careful as I can about keeping things spaced for airflow. Daytime temps: 78F; nighttime: 67F. Humidity staying steady at 55. I didn't water yesterday because the bags felt too wet on the bottom. The pot bases are bone dry today, so I should be good to water again tomorrow. I hit them with Recharge day before yesterday.

Ok, all caught up. I haven't done an update in almost 6 weeks. I've been so busy. Lots of picture updates!
First of all, there have been flashlights in my back yard, so I am going to have to start bringing them inside for the night soon. It's been on the news that kids are taking pictures and staking out plants already. Not good.
The Lost Coast Plant Therapy is still working great for the powdery mildew. The fish fertilizer is slowing the yellowing leaves, but they are still turning yellow. I think i will be ok, I am not too worried.
I am about to do my last feeding of the year after writing this. I will be giving them a heavy Gaia Green Power Bloom dose, and some bat guano.
They are smelling and looking great, and I cant believe how fast the buds are growing. I'd say 4-5 weeks to go, tops, hopefully sooner.

What can i say. Another very fun year doing this hobby. Grow number 5 since I'm here on growdiaries and ever year I improved because ofvall the knowledge here.
Last year my NL'S started fantastic but it went horribly wrong during flowering.
I was very motivated for this revenge round since NL is great strain and I knew where the mistakes were made in the previous grow.
Made a well fed soil, added lots of RQS nutrients and made it extra airy by adding about 20 to 25 % extra perlite.
Germination was made in a soil plug. Soaked the seed for 24h and then 12h in a moisted paper napkin . After the root came out a little bit i put her directly in the soil plug
After 2 days she put her head out 🙏
Vegative phase was fun but she was stunted from the cold in the first weeks outside. With photoperiods that's not a problem but with autoflowers u end up with a small plant. Gave some neem oil spray too every week. No bugs have been seen on the plant. Fantastic product
I did my first LST training and that was so fun to do. I fucked up here and there and should have spread the canopy more open but i give myself 6,5/10 for the first time 😁
Didn't break anything and she reacted well on my inexperienced hands.
Will always do this from now on but with adjustments of course 😁 we grow to learn
In flowering she did well but she stayed on the small side, wasn't very bushy and didn't completely filled up the space she had.
But the plant was healthy and what she had did very well and delivered super nice buds. In the final 2 weeks she really bulked up a lot and gave me my first handsized buds ❤️🙏
I had Budrot because of high humidity in the morning and 2 small rains.
It was extremely warm here during July and August but during the days we had 30° to 40° Celsius with low humidity and at night 15°Celsius with night and morning humidity of 80% to 100% 🤷♂️ 🙄

Every plant will develop problems in such swinging climate conditions but the NL did pretty good. Lost about 20% of the plant unfortunately but that's life
After 16 weeks she looked done for me. Chopped her and had to dry her in warm weather. The tent was around 23°Celsius, couldn't get it lower. After 5 days the smaller buds were on the verge of just a bit too wet but close to dry and i know it's better to put them in a little bit more wet instead of too dry because it's harder to add moisture than the other way around. Opened the jars 4 times daily the first week and it was okay. The handsized more wet buds were added after 7 days of drying and didn't have any problems.
An overall very smooth grow untill the budrot problem. Will grow this one again since i have 10 seeds left of them 😁
