Ok so I'm going too only feed pH water from here on out too force the plants too use up all that's in the soil , I am hoping I can carry them on now for the next 2 weeks like this before they are ripe , Update at the end of week 9 Well this week saw a lot of change , bud swelling and ripened up really quickly And slowed right down on drinking last time I checked she was 30% amber and 70% cloudy so she has been moved into a dark room until Thursday now too drink what’s left in her pot ready for harvest at the weekend , she smell so good and if you brush against it , So that’s one down 3 too go :)

This week's been exciting, they've grown upward a few inches and started to bush out. I did do a mild defoliation taking off a few lower leaves and tucked some of the top bigger fan leaves. I started adding co2 this week and they seem to really be enjoying the added amount. All in all Happy Growing

Hey now! This week went very well. I feel like she is finally done growing, and just starting to thicken up and ripen. I did switch from the liquid koolbloom to the dry, and within 48 hours or so I really started noticing the weight of the colas start leaning towards the floor. I did support the main colas last week, but this week I noticed several of the smaller unsupported colas started drooping to the floor, so i added a few support lines. I am thinking maybe she has two or three weeks left. I am not a big believer in an all out flush, as I do not wish to stress her out even near the end. Rather, I am gradually weaning her off the nutes over the next 2-3 weeks. She is starting to get brown tips on almost every leaf so not sure if this is just her being near the end or a bigger issue?? Any advice please hit me up! I'm still struggling with humidity issues, but she seems to be ok! Thank you so much to everyone in this community for all the love, support, and help with my first grow. So please don"t trip out on this. I know my conditions are not accurate or my nutrient amounts. Lost my notebook with all my notes on this grow. All I have are the pics which I'll post. The dates of the pics may not correspond with the weeks in the diary. Kids, make sure you keep up to date if you are going to keep a diary online and keep a written one. I definitely learned my lesson. Several weeks of notes on 5 different strains lost. Well enjoy the pics at least.

ladies are doing fabulous!! growing incredibly fast. loving the cob light. ww/bb you can literally watch grow every day. the white widow didn't like that I took a few fan leaves I took off, seemed to make her grow a tad slower. the ww/bb with the 3 axillary buds grew out perfect and the bottom node grew just right to get even, and make a nice flat canopy. same with the king tut. on crazy anomaly was one branch on the ww/bb has 5 auxiliary buds! never seen or heard that before. trying to decide If i should top there too. check out the video to see it better thanks for following any tips please lmk!!

Just about done. One week left til harvest and I can’t wait.

18.5.25: I watered with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. I added Per 6.5 litres; ♡ 1Tsp Sea K(elp) ♡ 1/2 Tsp Bud Explosion PK booster ♡ 7ml Trace PH: 6.4 PPM: 780 I added the PK booster this feeding, just to provide some phosphorus without risking an excess. Next time, I won't use it. 19.5.25. Northern lights had got quite bushy, and there were a lot of extra leaves covering up some prime budsites. So I went ahead and Defoliated some of the larger fan leaves that were covering and blocking out other buds. The plants are growing very fast. The buds are getting very nicely structured. Northern Lights is drinking about 3 l per day, and I will continue to use the Greenleaf nutrients sea kelp and Ecothrive Biosys, along with the Ecothrive trace For the calcium, magnesium and trace elements. She has indeed stopped stretching now and is focusing on the bud formations. It's a very lovely smell, too! 😋 I use these all the way through. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. 21.5.25: I defoliated today again. This time, I took a little more off than I did yesterday as things had become congested, and the buds in the centre weren't getting any light. I got covered in sticky...ness?! I forgot to wear gloves, but for some reason, my non dominant hand got covered in resin and the other, not at all. Anyway, I hope I've managed to include the before defoliation and after videos/photos. I think it's much better after, there's so many buds I couldn't even see in the centre! I probably should have done it sooner, but I was trying hard to take as little as possible this run. Anyway, this is the prime bud building period. So, taking the leaves covering all the centre colas will not only provide equal light penetration but also get rid of some of the nutrients stored in the leaves. So, any nutrients available in the remaining leaves can deplete to a happy medium. That being said, we're coming close to the end of mid flowering. I'm really hoping to produce some good sized colas! 🤞💚😉🍃😃🌱 I'm certain I won't be disappointed, she's looking 🔥😍😀😋 24.5.25: I watered with Ecothrive Biosys 3ltrs each. The plants are still drinking at least 2 litres per day. They are increasingly thirsty, and it's important that I don't let them dry out. The soil is mostly coco and perlite, so it can dry out quicker. There are plenty of worm castings, too, so that definitely helps. The buds are developing and progressing very nicely, keeping up with the flowering nutrients and alternating between Ecothrive Biosys, Trace, and Greenleaf Nutrients. 24.5.25: I watered with 2.5 ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 I added Per 6.5 litres; ♡ 1Tsp Sea K(elp) ♡ 1/2 Tsp Bud Explosion ♡ 7ml Trace PH: 6.3 PPM: 840 SOLUTION TEMP: 30°C SOIL PH: 7 SOIL TEMP: 21°C AMBIENT TEMPERATURE: 23-26°C RELATIVE HUMIDITY: 58%. Big week of defoliation. Added another level of scrog as well to prevent the plants growing into the light. The medipak are sativas and are stretching like crazy. Medipak #2 in the middle back is looking like an indica with much larger fan leaves and thicker stems. Less stretch compared to medi pak #1 and #3 which are growing like crazy. #3 is gonna be a real heavy yielder...stacked! Smelling of spices and hash The indigo child are stretching much less and are a little slower in flower development. Very similar to the putang I grew previously. Usually slow to start but will pick up steam and fatten up in the last few weeks. Smells like orange soda mixed with grape candy. Has a little sour pine sol finish. Almost identical to the putang. Still one of my favs. Edit day 17. Not great but my setup lost power most of the day. It probably got into the low 50's in my tent, maybe less. I'm sure I'm gonna see some temp shock from that. Sure enough when I looked at the leaves they were a little curled. We shall see what happens. They're big plants so I'm sure they'll bounce back. Maybe lose a few days of stretch... Update day 19: Plants are recovering nicely. Starting to see some frost. Temps are back in check now as well. Update day 20: temps are good.

This girl is stacking so nicely for someone who got very little grow time outdoors before the onset of flower. 2nd generation of shogun I have grown but never smoked, so I still don't know if its any good. LoL Something tells me this one is going to be something special. Lets see.

Day 59, 1st of October 2020: All good CBD blue shark is bushy.... she will get 36 hours darkness in the end of the week so stars flowering. Purple Punch is basically ready but i want more amber trichomes let her maturing a bit more i think 1 week. I keep checking on her. Day 60, 2nd of October 2020: Alright so time has come; she needs to start flowering. Look at her the last picture (Day 60)📷 before I place her for 54 hours darkness I mean 17:00 o'lock on (today) Friday to 23:00 o'clock on Sunday. Can I count well? so ... 17:00 o'clock to 23:00 o'clock is 6 hours (23:00 o'clock lamp switches on) and next Saturday 23:00 o'clock is 24 hours and one more 24 hours is Sunday 23:00 o'clock 🤪 so 24+24+6 = 54!!!!! Yes!🤪🤪🤪 I have never been good at mathematics 🙃 Okay so I gave her a lot of water and also sprinkled the soil with bat guano before i put her in darkness. I added more nitrogen because she seems to be very hungry for that again and put her to 💤 😴 🛏️. So let's start flowering say goodbye and see you soon 😊 Day 62, 4th of October 2020: Here we go I took her out after 48 hours just to take pictures 📷 Flowering has started so from now the lamp switches on 23:00 o'clock and it works till 11:00 o ⏰ .
