📅 Week 10 | 🗓️ Day 64–70 Day 70 – Papayton 🏀 (2nd week flower) 🔸Papayton is growing vigorously in week 10 and is slightly ahead of Lemon Cherry Runtz in terms of size. The canopy is wider and the spearheads are slightly higher – exactly where the flower clusters are now really taking off. The pictures show densely packed calyxes with long, creamy white stigmas; the sugar leaves are already nicely pollinated and the buds are starting to stack up. So far, everything looks great. 🔸The SANlight remains at 90% and ~30 cm distance (approx. 900 PPFD at the canopy). The leaves appear relaxed, without claws or lightening – so no indication of light stress. I keep the climate rather moderate, with good air circulation through the foliage so that the fresh resin heads remain dry. It's a bit cold at the moment, so I can't quite reach the VPD, but I'm not going to put a heater in, hehe. 🔸I watered as planned with BIO PK from BioTabs – carefully following the manufacturer's instructions. Otherwise, only water. The plant is developing well despite the high temperature. During the week the weather got better, the plant is growing well.

Finally the harvest, I put them to dry on 70x70cm mesh; I gave them a first manicure, in about 10 days when they are dry I will give them a second manicure and proceed to cure them.👌

Germinated the seeds and worked on the grow closet (these will be growing in my bedroom closet) The watering setup is two 5gal buckets with PVC fitted a half inch from the bottom of the bucket, with a P trap pipe connecting it to a shared 5gal reservoir with an air stone (one will be run to each bucket to be extra safe from stagnant water) and 2 pond pumps to deliver water to the base of the plant. Nutrients added after wool placed into baskets on Day 4.

End of Week 14 (7th week of flower) Cruise control still on. Smooth sailing till the end. Because this is a fully organic grow there is no need for a leaching flush, all I'm doing is giving the ladies PH correct water from now until harvest to naturally deplete the soil from nutrients and flush out the soil slowly this will help bring out some colours as the ladies use up the remaining nutrients stored in their leaves as they reach the end of their life cycle. I have been keeping a cooler average temperature - and also keeping the relative humidity lower. Pest Report: None

Well, this was a interesting first journey.... the buds finished drying today, 5 days drying, added pics and vids. Just curing to go.... ah nice buds :) Edit: i forgot to mention i went over the buds when i harvested them, and checked / removed any impurities, like gnats caught in the sticky bud.... picked em clean with tweezers... 👍 Edit: needed to air/dry out the buds abit more, and get some Boveda Humidipak for curing.... it's looking good... i'll update with some pics of trimmed, cured buds 😎 The buds turned out beautiful, pungent, pine, berry, citrusy, daytime, medical..... this has theoretical 1:1 - 21% THC, 19% CBD, so it's not going to give u a knockout high.... its medical grade 1:1 ....... side effects - happy, relaxed. haha :) I weighed it dry and came up with about 123.32g (4.35oz) ... i used abit of guesswork in the weight, not to concerned with weight, as to quality.... (that weight is with the test buds added in, +-15g.) .... you can guess the weight from the pics and vids, haha I really enjoyed growing this.... i found the website by looking up the seeds, decided to start a grow diary, it's my first grow, i made alot of mistakes and growdiaries really helped alot, joined a chat group with some other really good growers. Edit - Day 111 - added vid/pic, Been curing for a week, burp and roll em abit twice a day....... smell and taste nicer each day, 👍 Edit - Day 112 - added good vid of trimmed up test bud, beautiful ...... 11/12: day 35 of flower. final defoliation - just on autopilot now. These ladies should now be moving on to that last stretch of maturity. And so I did a final defoliation. The dramatic differences between all 4 of these is interesting to say the least. #4 is probably my favorite pf the group. It is so frosty compared to the other 3 and its not even close. #1 is the monster of the bunch with #3 close behind it. Both of those plants have grown monster buds considering I'm only in week 5-6. #2 is just a disappointment all together. It is small, has produced only small popcorn nugs. They all now smell very strongly of sweet lemon chemicals/fuel. The smells dramatically changed this week and im hoping it gets even more smelly. I am still very frustrated with the lack of purple. So much so that i am considering tossing all of the clones i have for these cause i dont yet see a reason to keep a mother. I was after the purple and lemon. I have lots of green lemon smelling seeds that i already know love the bud from. I am looking forward to the next week as these start to finish up.

Week 7+8 for Thelma and Louise and both gals are looking great! As I mentioned before I'm going to let these ladies go until the fade is nice and the trichs are at least 30% amber and I hope that results in FATTY colas! I cut out the silica since they are flowering nicely now. These girls have the most rock-hard stems I've come across so far, feels like bamboo and a karate kick wouldn't do shit to it LOL!
