This strain is certainly giving me its fair share of problems. First, it was the yellowing of leaves. Now, I'm noticing early signs of bud rot. Just a few colas are affected right now and I'm hoping it doesn't become too widespread. I've cut off affected areas and I'm hoping for the best. On the bright side, one of the plants isn't presenting with any of these problems. In fact, the buds on this plant in particular are looking quite beautiful and have just started showing off its purple tint. Being a first time grower, I expected I may run into problems. That's why I decided to hedge my bet and plant four seeds instead of just one. I suppose that insurance policy is paying off.

Flower day 31 - Having a little trouble with the temperature getting higher than I would like because my dehumidifier puts off some heat while it’s running so it’s been a constant struggle to keep the environment in this tent stable! Definitely will not have so many plants next run lol, but all in all the ladies are growing great & I can’t wait to see how they turn out! Mrs Big B is about to have her sweet stretch to Budville so I hope I've shaped her well enough to take full advantage of the light space. If not a traditional 'Super crop' will solve any future spacing issues. Ha ha. Due to an accident in her younger days she's sort of become a triple stem after topping. I'm hoping I get something cool looking as a result. I trimmed a few lower buds that would soon be overshadowed by the canopy and not worth her effort. Weekly does of Biobizz triple nuits and tap water just to top up and irrigate. Because shes not drinking loads yet. My LST may need refining..... but we learn every mistake right?

Veg Week 6 Day 42 to 48 - 4/1 to 4/7 This week is primarily test training recovery and final topping set. I would have typically already cut the third top after 3 new nodes of growth but since I decided to experiment with breaks I allowed more time for recovery and None were cut until I saw I had at least 3 nodes of new growth since the last topping. All limbs are doing better now and I see little to no 'new' hindered to overall growth from this point. I also defoliated some of the oldest leaves that gone damaged in the breaks. So as I said, little to no damage will produce average branches (prone to weight breaks later in flower as discovered in my first grow) Small to slightly moderate break of green and evenly crushed stem can create heavy knuckles with large waterways through hardwood provides great support and growth Moderate to heavy rips with no back support will runt in growth and support if not die off. However if back supported immediately, it can recover with a little extra time. Feed this week was again an auto pot reservoir feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 350ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and introduced 50ppm Bloom concentrate mix). I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 5.9 Video Post defoliation Next week I plan to monitor the training of the branches and change out the feeds with 500ppm at 5.9ph. All I am trying to do now is set the growth of the branch to where I want them to flower stretch from.

9 weeks into this grow. Packing on the mass for sure. Main buds are the size of my hand. The smell hits you hard and is very very strong now. Very happy with the ease of this plant. Still have had no issues whatsoever. I think the plan is to harvest this weekend at 10 weeks total.

Sixth week of flowering, everything is going well, it has a very strong sweet citrus smell

Week 4 in the books. They've suffered a lil nute burn or whatever it seems to be but all good for the moment. Ive LST'D these babies. I've given them their concoction of lotus nutrients , superthrive, fish shit, cal mag and stash blend.

cut on the 41st day from the first flower. it resisted 99% humidity without water or light for a week. it went into overfertilization 3 times up to 2.8 of ec the plant reacts great above this data the plant stops. I used Biobizz organic products not following the table. The plant was never drained until harvesting, by watering with little water and rich in salts the run off was 8.4 brought to 1.9 as the final harvesting figure. the plant smells like big babol, smoking it fresh incense flavor hits the nose like monk and strawberry candies

so we feed one feed and then we flushed on sept 9 and 10 cal mag to gallon will do one more flush before sept13 dont want salt build up

Well the end stretch is here, these girls just keep packing on the weight, and now with another feeding from my fish tank, this should push them to finish.

After defoliating both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants after week 11 they now develop more and amore flower clusters, since the light can penetrate deeper int the canopy now. The plants are producing trichomes like crazy, even the bigger sugar leaves are covered in them! VERY FROSTY PLANTS! The flower clusters clearly form colas now along all side branches and both plants fill up nicely. The smell is now strong and sweet with a clear peach aroma to it, it makes me smile every time I look into the tent. The plants love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and are getting the recommended dose every watering.

Well week 6 has started and 12-12 has 1 official day in the books! Short run with a couple of experiments, lol. We got some new seeds, autos. We got early miss and fucking incredible from crop kings and Zkittles, gelato, and wedding cake from ILGM plus a couple of Herer seeds from a friend. Welcome to week 9 / week 6 of flowering! She is getting close to harvest now! Some nice fall colors starting to show up in the fade. 🍁 I got some good trichome photos on day 60 which were mostly all cloudy with only a very few of them beginning to turn amber. I’m aiming for an uplifting smoke on this one, so I’ll keep a close eye on the trichomes from this point and harvest as soon as I see a few that turned full amber. ✅Day 57: No water. Trimmed off several fan leaves at the bottom that were dead or dying to free up air flow and make space. She was getting very compact and tight in the lower center. Buds in that area had no space to grow. I shouldn’t have waited this long to defoliate that area. ✅Day 58: No water. ✅Day 59: No water. ✅Day 60: 128oz of water. ✅Day 61: No water. ✅Day 62: No water. ✅Day 63: 128oz of water.

The Afghan #1 has received a full defoliation and all flower sights are exposed. Leaves showing signs of nutrient deprivation. The is slight bud rot but nothing too concerning. most of the calyxes are swollen with nearly every pistol fading to a reddish brown colour and the try chromes are changing from milky to clear. The Afghan #1 feminised has a sweet pungent floral aroma emanating from her. There’s Stem decay as the lady is dying of the stem colour is fading to a dull green. Feeding is all complete!
